The already have Walker or chambers to fill the tackle spots on the line, so OT isn't a huge need, Guard and depth at C (since they are high on Hangartner as the centre) were bigger needs

I don't think I would consider F. Jackson a "very good" Punt returner. Yes he can return punts, but I don't think he is someone who is a huge threat doing it. McGee is getting too old to be back returning punts and as the #1 CB on the team, he shouldn't be doing it anymore, they need him on defence first. As for Byrd, wasn't one of the knocks on him that he was slow? Normally you don't want slow guys returning any kind of kicks. That leaves Roscoe to return Punts and McKelvin returning kickoffs.

I love how everyone thinks that the league and the rest of the world think the Bills are the biggest joke in the league, when you have the Raiders. Yes the Raiders have been to the playoffs in the last 10 years, but they have also been bad enough to get many high picks, even a #1 pick. People don't think the Bills are a joke, cause htey aren't, they are just mediocre. They are a middle of the pack team that no one around the country really cares about except for their fans

And when the NFL decides to award points for Sacks the bills will be all set. Right now, the offence is the biggest glaring need. The defence was fine last year and kept them in most games, it was the offence that kept them from doing anything last year. It wouldbe great to have a top ranked defence, but they need to improve the offence first if they want to get any better in the standings

Its going to take alot more then a early hot streak to bring Jays fans back. Fans knowthat they can't compete with the Yankees and Red Sox when it comes to players, and after an offseason where they signed No ONe to major league contracts (all were for minor league deals with invitations to spring training), its hard to want to drop money down on them when the organisation won't do it

Why not, you can launch the Bell and Johnson bandwagons together. 2 players drafted late in the second day who showed so much that just from the pre-season, some practice reports, or in Johnsons case, from +/- 10 catches in actual NFL games, people are ready to give them starting jobs

Because apparently he already vetoed a trade to Buffalo last season at the trade deadline, he does not want to play in Buffalo. save the picks and get a TE in the draft. The Bills aren't going anywhere this season so theres no need to throw draft picks at some vets that won't be around after a couple seasons

I think what this proves with people arguing both ways in this discussion is that there is no proven strategies on how to build a proper team in the draft. You can find players anywhere in the draft, the key is you need to find the right guys, have the right coaches to help them improve, and a whole lot of luck that you got a winner.

PEPPERS IS NOT GOING TO COME TO BUFFALO, HE WANTS TO PLAY FOR A 3-4 DEFENCE THAT BUFFALO DOES NOT PLAY. HE HAS ONLY A COUPLE OF TEAMS THAT HE WILL GO TO TG is too old to give up a 1st for, you can use that pick to get a decent TE that will spend more then a couple seasons here

what do you expect them to say? Look at what they gave up and look at what they are paying him now? You think they would have doe that for some marginal player they didn't think was all that great? Did you expect them to come out and say that they made the deal because he was the best guy available at the time?

they were a 7-9 team with a crappy offence over those 3 years too. Everyone focuses on thedefence so much that its the entire reason the Bills were bad, but it was the offence holding the team back because they couldn't put the ball in the endzone if their lives depended on it
