I have actually made a few posts there on TSN about that, but apparently any place in Canada is a better place for Hockey, and will be a best seller in the NHL proping up all the American teams. Lol, its not even a Bettman vs. Basillie thing like they all say. Bettman is against Basillie because Jim keeps trying to go around the league rules for purchasing and relocating. Bettman may be an @ss, but theres a reason why pretty much all the other owners in the league are against this move too

I love it, the reason why The Sabres aren't coming out in full support of a Hamilton team is because it would effect their marketing region and make it even harder for them to market the team in Niagara because that area would be split between the 2 of them. Why would the Sabres be supporting something that would cause them to lose potential revenue? My other favorite is "Saint" Jim Basillies "Make it seven campaign to bring another team to Canada, acting like his goal is just to add another hockey team in Canada. It hasnothing to do with Canada, it has everything to do with putting a team in his backyard (Hamilton) If Bettman told him they would waive any relocation fee and award him the move to Quebec City or Winnipeg (Canadian Cities making it 7 Canadian teams in the league like his website/campaign is supposed to be all for) he would say forget it and walk away from the deal. He is practically being given Copps Coliseum as he will be given full control of it, yet the mighty Billionaire will only pony up $5 million for renovations and wants the Canadian Taxpayers to pay the other $120 million, yet he talks about how great the market is there, why not pony up the full thing, if the market is so great for hocky you will make your money back in no time

Grossman reportedly will also be fighting for the #3 spot on the Texans, so i wouldn't make a huge deal and use this as an arguement over which of the 2 QB's are better.

I heard the joke and all I thought was that he was referinig to her daughter that had the kid, I didn't even remember that she had a younger daughter. The only way you think it was a tastless rape joke about a 14 year old is if you followed what Palin has been doing and know that it was the 14 year old with her instead of the better known teen mother daughter of hers. Don't believe everything you read in the Buffalo news. I am a little bit of an insider when it comes to what is going on there. The deal is that the beaches all stay PUBLIC beaches where the development is being proposed. Right now its 2 13 storey Condos off erie road with commercial development along the bottom for "beach type" commercial buisnesses. Accross Erie road is parking and some more commercial buisness areas that are being proposed. Part of the deal with the town of Fort erie is that IF they do ever want to expand and buy more lakefront property to continue a development, the beach part of the property is donated to the town and kept as public beach. from what I have seen, its a nice proposal and might bring in some money to Crystal Beach. by the way, there is a marker on the corner of erie road and I believe Ridge, where the park used to be to commemorate the old amusment park. That area is now a gated beach community.

I saw them with the new singer last year or the year before and he is good, sounds very similar IMO to Staley

Its bad, but its not that bad. I wouldn't even say its as bad as some areas of Buffalo. I have been to Clifton Hill MANY times, and spent many a summer nights out there. it can be a fun place to hang out for some drinks and then go to the "Ballet"

Why? How many people either knew of him or even thought of him as a remotly decent player until the rams released him? He gets released, visits the bills and all of the sudden the guy is this amazing player that the bills can't win without?

Why would they even be interested? They already have more WR's then they know what to do with, why do they want another who hasn't even shown glimpses of his potential

I don't knowif they Gave him the naming rights, but Erie County, IIRC, decided to name the stadium after him when Rich was no longer going to pay for naming rights Also, IIRC, Ralph never wanted to name the stadium after himself, but went with it when Erie County named it after him And yes, it doesn't have to be a local company, but Buffalos best bet would be for a local company cause I highly doubt there are many big companys that want to spend millions for advertising at a stadium located in Orchard Park thats used less then 10 times a year

Why? Its easy, you need an interested buisness willing to part with a couple million a season to pay to advertise their buisness name on the side of the stadium. How many local buisnesses have that kind of money to spend on advertisement in this economy, and how many non local buisnesses are willing to spend that much for the naming rights to a stadium in orchard park? And who cares? Taking Ralph Wilsons name off the stadium and putting a sponsors name on it won't save the team financially and keep them from playing a game in Toronto.

She is 16 though. I love how her and her parents are crying about it and that the school should ask for them all back and have them reprinted without that picture. I would hope the parents are willing to pay for the reprinting costs, her daughter was the one who decided that not wearing underwear was a good idea that day just so she wouldn't have panty lines.

The problem with this theory is that there wouldn't be any positive reaction to this move. Vick won't put @sses in the seat like the motive for bringing in TO, Unless of course PETA members will buy up the season tickets and boxes to heckle him all game. Signing Vick most likely would undo all the positive fan reaction from the TO signing

Who says he will be an upgrade? The Bills brought him in and maybe made an offer, maybe Pisa decided to keep looking to see if he can get something better. Maybe he didn't feel he was a fit for the Bills, or maybe the Bills didn't think a guy who got cut by the Rams was an improvement over what they have. The grass isn't always greener on the other side

You do realise that just because hey have a certain amount available under the cap, that doesn't mean that they have that much money just sitting around in a bank account for the owner to pocket.

Where are these concerts held?? July 29ths show is a good one, the trews are a great band from the maritimes in Canada. They made it big living in Niagara Falls and well worth whatever is charged for admission. Sloan is not a bad canadian band either

If he improves the team on the field this year, thats just an added plud

It all depends on what shape its in. Just because its old it doesn't mean it wont make it or cause problems. If it has been well maintained, it could be just as reliable as a new car. If you know theres problems with it, have it checked out first, stopping every 45 minutes for 10 minutes won't help much unless theres a cooling issue

They didn't take a later round QB because hose QB's probably weren't any better then what the Bills already have on their roster at this point.
