Vick reinstated on conditional basis
apuszczalowski replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Vick has done his time and should be allowed back. I don't condone what he did, nor do I fully know what went on, but if guys like Pacman, Lewis, and others get less sentences, for doing harm (or attempting to do harm) to another human being, theres something wrong. Vick should have run a human fighting ring and killed off the losers, he would have a lesser punishment -
Vick reinstated on conditional basis
apuszczalowski replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills say they are, but the players don't seem to be. Owens and Wilson have already given their support for Vick Won't happen though, too much negative reaction to him, it would wipe out all the good reaction to TO being signed (which was to wipe away the bad reactions to keeping DJ) Also, they seem to like Fitzgerald, they did sign him early in FA and he is from an Ivy league school, plus they are comfortable with Hamdan -
They do it because they have sold out of those blocks of tickets. When the teams put tickets for sale, they have blocks that are reserved for certain things, and this isn't just sports, its also concerts too. With sports they usually hold a big block for season ticket purchases. Then for Group Sales, and individual tickets. They also hold blocks for the other teams, and guests of the players and teams. At certain points, they make tickets available from those different blocks, and wafter a certain amount of time, they open whats left over to the general public. Thats why there are times where to a "sold out" event you can buy a ticket or 2 just before its about to start, because they need to get rid of some tickets that went unclaimed, or were left over from different blocks of tickets

But that all depends on the person though and what type of fan they are. If they are a die hard fan who is there to see their team play live, then yeah, they add nothing when they could be just as happy sitting in the weather with some beers watching the game. When you are a "fan" who is there to socialise with clients, or broker a deal, and the game is a secondary interest to you, then those are the kind of places you might prefer. Somewhere that you can socialise and have some wine and a cigar with buisness associates and clients.

The problem with comparing previous stadiums to NY and Dallas's new ones is that the prices keep going up cause they try and out do one another, especially when it comes to The US "Holy Land", NYC, and "America's Team", Dallas. They have to be the best and out do one another. These new stadiums are being used as multi purpose facilities too, for concerts, shows, games, conventions, etc. When was the last time the Ralph was used for something non football related? Most fans can be happy with just a "nice" stadium, but the owners and sponsors/potential sponsors don't want to put their names one something that is only used 8-10 times a year. Its also hard to justify charging double for a ticket in Dallas then for one in Buffalo if dallas were playing in the Ralph for home games. This way the owners can say that they are providing a better atmosphere that is worth the extra ticket money

Ray Lewis snaps & compares McNair to Jesus...
apuszczalowski replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has trouble with it, everyone knows that. Just don't throw him a fast ball over the plate, he hits it deep everytime As for McNair, its tragic what happened, and I don't think he deserved to be killed, but to treat him as if he was a god is a bit much. He didn't live a righteous and holy life. It was a misstress who killed him (although was he seperated from his wife at the time??) Its similar to the entire Michael Jackson death. Everyone forgets the bad things the person might be known for because they were talented elsewhere. Will OJ get this type of treatment when he dies? -
If only Hitler would have known that if he was talented at singing and dancing, the world would forgive him for anything bad he may have done over his lifetime. I can't wait for the OJ memorial and parade through WNY when he dies. Man could that guy play football, plus he was never convicted in a criminal case for murdering 2 people

Tyler Dunne sez Nic Harris is da man
apuszczalowski replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are wasting your breath, I have been saying the same thing too, even throughout last season, but everyone believes that the defence has to be top 5of all time, or else you can't be a good team. But the Bills would have been a playoff team last year if the offence could have scored about a TD more per game, which isn't much. The offence was horrible last year, the defence held them in most games -
they already had a good defence. The defence was good enough to hold them in games, the problem was an offence that was afraid of the end zone last season. The Bills would have been a playoff team last year if the offence could score a TD more a game last season. They weren't a "great" defence, or one that could make up for having such a pathetic offence, but they were not the weak link to the team.

All of this for a guy who for the last 10-15 years had been on trial a couple times for touching children, but since he didn't go to jail, he didn't do it. I can't wait to see OJ's memorial...................

Studying Abroad in Australia
apuszczalowski replied to TheBlackMamba's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I have known 3 people who have gone there and ended up staying there. Only one came back. All 3 found someone and 2 got married (one just devorced and came back). -
Reed has some value, he has become a dependable receiver on 3rd down, just not a #1/#2 kind of guy Parrish has value too as one of the leagues best punt returners And if you talk to fans around here, I think Johnson could get the Bills a retrun of multiple first and have a bidding war. The problem the Bills are in now is that TO is here for only 1 year, so if you deal away one of those WR's, next year one of the ones thats left better be able to step in and be a good #2 or they are back to looking for another WR

250-300lb men playing contact football without pads, yes, big disaster. 100 - 120lb women playing "contact" football? No, I don't think it will be a problem. And no, I probably won't care to watch women in lingerie running around trying to play football knowing that theres almost no chance that the lingerie is coming off. Like its been said before, for football I will wait til September for the NFL, and if I'm REALLY desperate, I will watch teh CFL. Otherwise, theres always the internet where I will find alot better things then women staying in lingerie playing football.

103rd Floor Glass Balcony On The Sears Tower
apuszczalowski replied to H2o's topic in Off the Wall Archives
been on that one, I even jumped up and down on it. That stuff is thick, my 200lb's + didn't budge it, lol -
Who says he hasn't tried and found no one credible yet? The only person who has actually stepped up has been Kelly, and since he hasn't named his "investors" its not really crdible yet
-
Are you sure? Are you Mr. Kelly's financial advisor?

10 Best Offseason Moves.........per Florio
apuszczalowski replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't say I can blame them in their rankings of the Bills and Cowboys with regards to the TO signings. He has never led a team to any kind of championship, has a huge history of "drama" and "attitude". Has a reputation of tearing lockerrooms apart. Its a huge gamble that taking him for 1 year will help the Bills more then it could hurt them. And adding him doesn't all of the sudden make them better. As for Coles, less talent, but also less of a headache (although just imagine if the Bengals signed TO to go along with Ocho??? Bring your popcorn to that show!) I don't think it was the best signing, although its hard to rate what was the best signing because it all depends on the player and what the team needs -
If I had to guess who Kelly's "Money Guy" is, I would say chances are it was that "rich" investor that bought the Statler Building and wanted to build the sky scrapper. The following are the clues that led me to believe it may be a possibility. 1. Nothing much has been said by Kelly about his "group" since that guy was found out to be a con and a fraud 2. Jim hasn't had much success in the past with investments and this seems like the kind of guy that could sucker him 3. This is the Bills and we are all Bills fans, this is the type of luck we have
