  1. Why not, isn't the guy getting injured more often since getting off the juice? He would fit right in on the Bills IR team
  2. How? If they put Hardy onto the roster to replace Parrish (If he is traded), they would have to make another move to make room for Johnson. As for Parrish, didn't he not practice all week last week? Wasn't that why he was inactive Sunday? Thats what I thought they said on the pregame
  3. If IFs and Buts were Candy and Nuts....................... Buffalo could be 5-1 right now if the offence puts up a couple points against the Saints and they actually stay on the field for more then 3 downs at a time. If all those things happen, there is no way the Bills front office even considers letting DJ go this year
  4. That slant got the Bills more then a FG or another chance to punt, so I say I hope Trent did learn that from Ryan. Finally getting Lee involved in a game is not a bad thing, seems Trent is allergic to that
  5. you can also throw in the fact that the wind was horrible and the other QB struggled too. And yeah, trent completed all 5 passes, but only for 43 yards. I think people are starting to go back to the Kelly Holcomb appreciation days. Lets see what Fitzpatrick can do with a week of practicing throwing balls to Evans and Owens and in some decent weather. There was a difference between Trent and Ryan yesterday (and the last couple games). Ryan found Evans, and the offence actual got the ball into the endzone
  6. I will give Fitz another game that he gets the entire week to work on some timing with the starters before I pass judgement on his play. The guy stepped into a situation taking over a game in horrible winds after not practicing with the staters. And sorry to those that say it wasn't, but the pass to Evans was very well thrown and hit him in stride, they even mentioned that on the broadcast of the game.
  7. What would I do? I would ask you why I have your student loans and tell you to pay them off. Or, you could take out an life inusrance policy on yourself and fake your death.
  8. I guess its possible to call it vandilisam Although smoking Weed is technically illegal, so yes a crime was committed here
  9. You people seriously think Ralph is sitting there right now and not ready to can DJ? The problem right now is the timing, anyone who takes over has less then 7 days to take over and prepare a team for the next week. The earliest anything will happen is at the Bye Week, and a co-ordinator like April will take over for atleast the rest of the season. Ralph might be old, but unlike most here, he isn't stupid, or borderline senile/retarded. He knows the fans are unhappy (btw, he doesn't need a billboard to let him know it) and a change will be coming. The problem is it won't be at the time the fans want it. If the move doesn't come at the Bye week its cause theres no coach/co-ordinator on the roster that will be an improvement, so why get rid of someone and have to keep paying them, while upping the pay of a co-ordinator that won't make them any better? I can also guarantee that if the move doesn't come during the Bye, that the Bills will not promote someone from the current staff and will look outside the organisation for a new coach. Fans won't be happy cause it won't be Cowher, or one of the other "Superstar" coach that everyone thinks the Bills just have to walk up to and offer the job with alot of money and they will take it.
  10. Well, seeing as how they could swap players instead of picks, no it wouldn't hinder a trade for Owens, IF CHICAGO WANTED OWENS, which I don't believe they do. "Stylez G. White likely will fill the opening" - That is a sweet name, lol
  11. God Bless that man, it is the nectar of the Gods! I was just out at an irish pub near my girlfriends place on Friday, founf out they have $4.50 pints of Guiness Friday nights from 4-8
  12. I will give them rugby, atleast its a sport. But putting in Golf and removing baseball? That makes no sense to me And yes, the olympics are a big joke, and I find it hilarious watching these cities spend multi millions on the games. Has any city actually turned a decent profit on them?
  13. He grew up poor in a town around the Toronto area, for a while I believe he lived in a tent with his parents in his sisters back yard His sister now works for a local radio station as a DJ in the Niagara Area, I believe he has been a call in on the show before.
  14. How has he proved this???? He has what? less then a dozen catches in actual NFL games (those games also coming at the end of the season)? Was it some preseason play? How has that proven anything except that he may have some potential or is a pre-season warrior? If he proved anything so far as n NFL player, he wouldbe in the lineup besides being on the practice squad, and if he was so great like everyone thinks, he would have been taken off the Bills practice squad already
  15. Anyone ever notice how the Trent apologists are sounding just like the JP apologists that tehy routinly blasted before? Seriously, replace trent with JP and I bet you will find quotes like this from a few seasons ago
  16. Lets also leave out that those stats are in 4 games, not 5 like Trent "If you just give me a good oline I'd be a Pro Bowler" Edwards
  17. Aaron Rodgers - Sacked 20 times - QB rating of 101.1 (BTW, thats in only 4 games, not 5) There are a bunch of other QB's in the league that are considered "elite" that have been sacked over 13 times this season, and they all have a better QB rating then Trent, and don't have Terrell "the future HOFer" Owens, and Lee Evans to throw to
  18. Better tell that to the Steelers and Packers, or would you argue that an op-line that let Rogers get sacked 8 times and running for his life most of the game is the reason why Rogers had such a horrible game?
  19. and their bad game wasn't even really that bad
  20. yeah, lets blame a D thats playing 1/2 of its backups, and a couple of backups Backups. The D has been good enough to win all year, its not a top 5 defence, but its not losing them games. Just like I said multiple times last year, if it wasn't for the gross ineptitude of the offence that can't score even if the defence left the field, they would have been a playoff time. This defence held Miami in check until late in the game when they had routinely been dragged back onto the field cause the offence couldn't get anything done.
  21. They were also a much better team with less holes to fill then Buffalo, so they had the ability to just pick whomever was the best player, instead of having to pick guys to fill holes. People need to stop dwelling on the past, things are done, they can't be changed, live with it, and if you don't like it, become a Ravens fan, they seem to be doing things right according to everyone, it will make your life much, much, much better and less stressful. Either that or apply for the Bills job of GM/head coach or better yet, buy the team from Ralph, it can't be hard, everyone seems to think that theres huge lines forming of people available to buy the team from Ralph
  22. And if Crowell signed it would mean that Poz, Mitchell and Buggs wouldn't have become injured? Injuries happen, even to depth guys, sometimes you get snakebitten more then others do, and you don't build your team expecting to have to use your depth players. If so, would Indy have Jim Sorgi as a backup? Or NE having a nobody backing up Brady?
  23. And then there are people living in a dream world thinking they can change the world with some phone calls and good old fashion protests. Its not that some people think that nothing can ever be done to make a difference, its that they are realistic in knowing that there are ways that may help change things, and ways that won't. Season ticket holders have leverage when it comes to renewing their tickets, although theres probably 2 other people lined up to get those tickets when you don't renew. Demanding a refund isn't going to get you anywhere right now cause they don't give refunds for poor play, and thats what they will tell you on the phone. Do you seriously think that the front office isn't pissed with the play of the team, or know that the fan base isn't happy? Making a change right now, at this point in the season isn't going to turn the team around and make them a playoff team, unless the new coach is also a miracle healer who can heal half the defence, and can force teams to trade the bills mid season for top tier players. Fans are going to be really disapointed this offseason, cause coaches like Cowher, or Dungy, Holmgren, etc aren't coming here. What people need to realise is that those coaches just like FA's have to want to come here, and its not always about who can pay them the most. Those coaches have achieved full success in the NFL and left coaching on their own terms to take time away and spend time with their families. They have money, they have championships, and were in better positions then they would be walking into in Buffalo. IF, and thats a big IF, they decide to come back, it will also be on their own terms and time, probably in a favourable situation close to their families, and it will be because they missed the game, not because a team is willing to pay them huge amounts. They are in comfy TV jobs right now to pay the Bills, and those jobs keep them around the game, but give them the freedom to be with their families more. The next Bills coach will be a former top assistant coach from somewhere (like a Rex Ryan, Tony Sporano, Josh McDaniels) or a retread currently coaching in the UFL (like Fassel, Haslett) or a guy that might get let go this offseason. There is only one thing for certain, if it isn't one of the guys most likely not to come out of retirement, the fans will never be happy
  24. Right there you just answered why the commisionar won't care and why it isn't bad for the game. There are always going to be teams that are bad, just like there will always be teams that are good, otherwise everyone would end the year in a giant 8-8 tie Buying a ticket buys you a seat to watch an event. It doesn't buy you the right to witness a win or the results you want. They don't give out refunds becuase you haven't been happy with the results, otherwise I think the fans in detroit have been more deserving of full refunds last season. Fans need to settle down, Jaurons fate is sealed, but it won't come til the offseason, if its not done at the earliest being the Bye week. Bringing in a new coach now is not going to turn this team around and we all are probably going to have to ride out the rest of this year with DJ until the offseason were I'm guessing more screaming and moaning will happen when they don't hire the guy that everyone wants
  25. If you believe that the fans owe Ralph nothing, then Ralph owes the fans nothing. Fans owe Ralph alot of gratitude for giving them an NFL team, and keeping them in Buffalo for 50 years, when he could have just as easily picked up and moved to somewhere and made more money. He provides Buffalo fans with one of the most affordable ways of experiencing the NFL product. If you don't like the product, don't pay for it and find one you do like. No one is making you spend your money on the Bills and the NFL is a privilige not a right.
