The coaches have already said chances are, Brohm will not see the field this season, he is a project for next year. The plan is to get him in Buffalo, away from the Packers roster and get him used to the team and system and see what he has in practice, hoping that he can be groomed into the starter and allow them to not have to use a high pick on a QB of the future

Of course TO won't rule out coming back to Buffalo. Right now he is just waiting to test the open market and hope that his attitude this year with Buffalo and keeping from getting in the headlines for bad comments/attitude will get him a deal somewhere thats a competitor for the next couple of years, but if not, and Buffalo offers the most, he will come back. It all depends on whos interested and who is willing to open the cheque book

Aren't they going to be doing some work to the falls soon to protect it from eroding? I think I remember hearing in school a few years ago about how they were going to shut parts of the falls off to put a concrete coating over the clif to protect it and slow down the erosion

Take away that one play and I wouldn't have even known he was still playing in the league. Its amazing how one play from a former player on another team all of the sudden makes a guy a player we should have never let go

What the Bills need most of all are more rookie and 2nd year players on the line to protect a mediocre QB Lets face it, the Bills need both, adding more inexperience to the only won't help next season, a better QB might help. It doesn't really matter which they take in the draft first cause both are needs, except that with the original starting line up back on the line fully healthy, they will be much better then they have been lately

Really? How many games over the last 2 years have the Bills been in til the last 5-10 minutes of the 4th quarter? How many times has the Bills defence kept the other team to under 20 points? How many times has the Bills offence failed to score or go 3 and out when they get the ball? The Bills can win games and still give up 172 yards a game. Teams know they can just keep pounding the ball and wear down the clock and defence cause the offence isn't likely to threaten to score again.

yet again, the defence is not that big of a concern as people make it out to be. The critical spot on this team that needs a major overhaul is the offence. Teams may run on the bills alot, but the defence still does the most important thing its there to do, keep the team out of the endzone. The offence is so bad that it can't win games when the defence keeps them in the game. I'm not saying that the Bills defence couldn't be improved, but without a better offence, the Bills will just lose even lower scoring games. Indy uses this defence, and they have not had a dominant defence, but they win cause the offence can put the ball in the endzone rather easily.

From the Draft? I don't think so, unless some top can't miss prospect is available early when they pick. otherwise, our "Draft Pick QB" will be Brohm and they either keep Trent around or bring in a FA veteran to start until Brohm is ready

The venue was built for baseball, thats why it sucks for football. It was meant to be adaptable for football, but the main use was supposed to be for the Jays. Baseball/Football venues are never great for one of the sports cause of the way the 2 fields are shaped When it was built in the late 80's it was "State of the Art" and revolutionary with its retractable roof. Now, its out dated and many are wanting to see it replaced. It was one of the last venues built before all of the ball fields started to go more "retro" in look

Then how come they didn't score on any of their other plays? Sure, Edwards dropping the one and the other out of bounds catch would have changed the final score, but the Bills defence still kept them out of the endzone on the Jets other plays and kept the game close. If TO cared and played with heart, the score could have been different too

So what you are saying is that 2 games where he had the team looking good and playing well, 1 bad game where they were still in it until the end means he obviously can't coach in the NFL? Everyone always throws out the yards against as if it actually means something. Lets look at the only stat that is worth a damn in any sport, the SCORE. How many teams could win scoring less then 14 points? How many teams lose games when the defence holds the other team to 16 or less? No one annointed Fewell head coach yet, just that he was looking good and if he kept it up, he could get the job and it might not be a bad choice.

But there is no sure thing, Shanahan/Cowher/Gruden/etc. have just as much of a chance at failure as a no name top co-ordinator or Fewell does. If there were sure things, these guys wouldn't be unemployed, or let go by their former teams.

If they keep playing like they have since Fewell took over, you can cross all the possible coaches off the list and start focusing on GM's or co-ordinators
