... and precisely why aren't we playing Hardy?
apuszczalowski replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well maybe he should get on the field and practice too. Fans may want to write this years team off right now and play guys THEY want to see so that THEY have a better view on weither THEY feel he is a bust or not, but the team and front office don't see it that way. Right now, they see what they have in their players as they see them all week, and they are all caoching for jobs next season. Why does Perry Fewell care to see if James Hardy and Steve Johnson can be contributors next season (or get a better draft pick) if they don't even know if they will be coaching next year? Would everyone want Fewell to stick around as the head coach for next year if he would throw the rest of the season and start playing 2nd and 3rd stringers I`m sure if everyone here were temporarily employed at the top position by their employer and told they had a chance to possibly keep that position or be unemployed next year they would start doing research and helping out their replacements -
Those comments were made atleast a day or 2 before this happened to Henry Bad Chad for not using his future telling/time machine to find out what was going to happen to a teammate and not make a comment that is completly unrelated that the haters and media can use against him. Chad has not done anything to "embarass" the league, and his antics are kept "in-game" or about the game. He isn't going out and getting into legal trouble. like I said before, soon the league is going to require that fans settle down and everyone "Golf Clap" when big plays happen. Everyone complains when players do things that treat the game like a buisness and holdout for money, demand new contracts, etc. but yet they bash a guy who is just having fun and treating the game like a GAME

Langston Walker Now A Guard
apuszczalowski replied to NorCal Aaron's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But he still would have been on the team as the LT until he ended up on IR, someone stepped up and beat him out, or he played out his contract or was switched back to RT. But with them running the no huddle, he couldn't play either tackle cause he wasn't able to get back to the line quick enough -
Didn't the same thing happen when Manning was going to wear the same shoes that Unitas wore? As for Chad, its sad that the NFL fines him for having fun playing the game. Nothing he does is hurtful to anyone else or disrespect the game. He just has fun and gets the crowds into it. Maybe the NFL should fine players and penalise teams if if the fans and players do anything but "golf clap" after a good play. Its not like his plans were to wear the jersey, score a TD and then grab a girl out of the crowd and smack her around after doing some drugs

When will this END?????????? Now the Bills are seriously DOOMED!!!!!!! He showed signs of becoming one of the greats in Beer delivery/selling. Lets hope for a speedy recovery If only Ralph would pay top dollar for Beer Guys and Beer management and not go on the cheap for them. The Pats pay top dollar, and Bill Polian wouldn't have brought in scrub Beer Guys. Just more proof Ralph is cheap and meddlesome and no one wants to come to Buffalo!

Langston Walker Now A Guard
apuszczalowski replied to NorCal Aaron's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was a good RT for the Bills Problem was, the Bills wanted him to move over to the left side and he didn't want to. Then, when they wanted to go to a no huddle, they found him to be too slow for a no huddle so they cut him since he didn't fit the offence and didn't want to play where they wanted him. If they didn't switch to the no huddle, he would still be here -
break the bank for brandon marshall

Steve Johnson getting Double Teams??????????? Haven't you seen Johnson play before? Wait, no one has except for a couple passes last year? He will demand that the entire opponents secondary to cover him, and he will still make spectacular grabs! He is already a HOFer, just too bad that everyone can see this except for the guys that are paid to watch him everyday on the practice field -
Warren Dunn now a minority owner of Falcons
apuszczalowski replied to bananathumb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Minority Owner? Sure, most NFL players can get a MINORITY Share, considering a minority can be anywhere from 1-49% 1% of a Billion is only $10 million, alot of players make that in a signing bonus -
No doubt, by next season (barring injury, have to add that since he does play for the Bills) he should be showing some of what made him a 1st round pick
-
Were teams gameplanning around Mario Williams in his rookie year? As I said before, Texans fans weren't praising Williams in his rookie year
-
But he was a #1 overall pick and paid a huge salary in his first year, would you pay top dollar for a guy who had those stats? The post I was replying too said that it doesn't matter if he is a rookie because he was given a monster contract he doesn't get a pass and should be playing up to that contract. I don't recall fans in Houston thrilled with Williams as a rookie I'm not saying that Maybin is great right now, but he missed all of training camp (yes it was his fault for holding out) and hasn't even played a full season. Plus, he has had some guys ahead of him playing better at this point, so the Bills aren't forced to throw him in and force him to learn on the field during the season. His development doesn't have to be rushed. Although it doesn't matter because there are so many expert player evaluators on this team, and since their guy wasn't chosen by Buffalo, they will never like the pick
-
But, But , But, He is a big name and then ESPN would talk about the Bills more giving the team higher grades in their oppinion and maybe giving the Bills some more time on their shows! no one knows for sure why Holmgren said "No Thanks" to Buffalo. Maybe he doesn't like what he has heard about Ralph, Maybe he likes the idea of taking over full control of a Team (The Browns), maybe he is using the Browns as a way of negotiating a better deal in Seattle (He did meet with them and not agree to anything), maybe he doesn't like the fans here in Buffalo, or maybe the Bills only asked him if he would be interested in being JUST the Coach and not give him full control of the team? Maybe he only wants to be a president/Czar/GM and not coach? He had his role as GM removed in Seattle aftera few years cause he wasn't good
-
But, But, But, guys like him, and Levi Jones are better then what we currently have!!!!!!! It doesn't matter that its only a matter of games playing as a starter til they are IR'd Thats what happens when you are so banged up that you have to scrap the bottom of the barrel of Street FA's and cuts just to field a team the next week I am surprised that it was a shoulder injury, I figured the knee would be the problem
-
Its ok, We still have Steve "Hall of Famer" Johnson to step in. I hear he can replace Evans and Owens by himself, all while knocking out Chuck Norris with his stare!
-
So I guess it was a good thing that the Texans passed on that DE 1st overall a couple years ago and took Reggie Bush? Mario Williams was no where near an impact player in his first year and he was taken #1 overall, by your moronic logic, he should have been a Pro Bowler just cause he was taken #1 overall and paid a huge salary. I'm really surprised most of the lots at RWS aren't packed with more Short Buses on game day.....

Wondering about a possible 3-4 next year
apuszczalowski replied to Ennjay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would involve having to cut about 50% of the Bills current defence and then peace together over the next year or 2 to teach and rebuild a new defensive system. FIX THE DAMN OFFENCE AND THE DEFENCE WILL LOOK MUCH BETTER!!!!!!! THE DEFENCE IS NOT THE PROBLEM RIGHT NOW You can win without a dominating defence, but you can't win if you don't put the ball in the endzone! The Bills have stayed in almost every single game this season until the last 10 minutes. Had the offence scored a few more times in those games, the Bills are in the playoff hunt right now. The quickest way back to the playoffs is to fix the offence. -
I think everyone on the defence took the wrong gap on the play

Finally, A GM that gets it!
apuszczalowski replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Throw in to that he would have to reject the offer his organisation offered him (that was in increase over what he was currently making) to hold out for the toatal amount he had asked for. -
Didn't Cowhers Offence and defence co-ordinators leave too that year?

Dungy Doesn' t Want To Coach This Year
apuszczalowski replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shottenheimer said he wants to stay retired, Bills fans still call for him as the next HC Cowher says he doesn't want to talk to any team until the end of the season, Bills fans cry cause they say he "blew the team off" and refuse to interview for the job Now Dungy says he doesn't want to coach, what makes you think that will stop Bills fans from bringing him up as a possibility??? -

I Don't Even Really Keep Up With Celebs, But This.....
apuszczalowski replied to H2o's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Being a big Pumpkins fan, I wouldn't say that his music was really dark and twisted, or something a baptist minister would be completly against. Just picturing the 2 is too weird to imagine. He just does not seem like someone who could coexist with someone who is so bubbly and cheery. Could you picture Corgan dressing up as Ken for her Barbie themed Birthday party? -
so much for that 2-4 inch snowstorm
apuszczalowski replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Heated handles and steering? You wuss! Get a real snowblower, Gas powered and one you have to muscle around to turn, thats a real snowblower! Does yours have a seat and a place to rest your fruity drink? Lol, I kid, I get to use an old Craftsman 8hp Gas Blower from the 80's that still runs great that I use to plow my grandmothersdriveway, then my moms, and some neighbors driveways. If I can make some decent ramps to get it in the back of my truck, I can use it at my house on my driveway -
Chad Pennington and Derrick Johnson
apuszczalowski replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pass on Pennington. Too many injuries to an arm that was already weak to begin with. He is done, and is already thinking his career maybe over after this injury
