But he is a thug and has to join Lynch on his way out of town, I bet he was the one with Lynch when they robbed the woman at TGI Fridays We can't have thugs on this team, we need high character altar boys, unless they are Pro Bowlers, then we can overlook thugs, right? And I thought Whitner was a complete bust and not a starter, what team is actually going to trade anything of value for a guy who the bills fans don't feel is a starter in the NFL? Its funny how guys are viewed as complete bust garbage players in Buffalo, but yet they actually believe that these guys are trade bait to other teams

Wilson updates AP on Bills coaching search
apuszczalowski replied to Delete This Account's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wait, I thought Bills fans didn't want Ralph to be in control???? I'm confused, people want Ralph to step away and let the "football guys" handle everything and let Ralph just pay the checks, yet they want him to know every detail so he can let us all into the loop -
Pete Carroll ACCEPTS deal with Seattle
apuszczalowski replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
but Bills fans would have been overjoyed if Cowher, or Shanahan accepted the job right after DJ was fired and the Bills interviewed no one else cause then they would have got "their" man. Why are the Redskins going to regret Shanahan, he was a guy Bills fans were all over when the Bills went after him. Like him or not (and I personally don't), I don't think Cleveland made a mistake keeping mangini for another year, they finished the season playing some very good football and he deserved to keep his job for atleast another year. You may be correct with Seattle though, but Carroll was obviously the reason why they fired Mora, he was the guy they wanted all along -
Wilson still the one making the calls

No way, I would want all the "intellegent" Arm chair gms telling em exactly how I should spend my money -
Wilson still the one making the calls
apuszczalowski replied to BuffaloBlood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They have???????? Everyone keeps saying that the bills are turning a profit every year and have been breaking team records selling Season tickets. Everyone is acting like this is something new or something no other team does, YET ALL TEAMS DO THIS! Do people seriously think that team owners don't get a say in what goes on with their team? All this is saying is that Nix and the rest of the front office will chose 2-3 of THEIR top choices, and then go to Ralph and discuss the choices with him to make the final decisions. The GM is still making the decision as they will be his choices, but when making the final decision, the owner will be involved in making the final choice. The only difference from before is that now they will have a true football guy making the choices and presenting them to the owner instead of a marketing guy. -
fixed it since no one employed by the Bills actually confirmed it. As for the contract issue with Denver, I think the only way Denver would be paying anything to him after he gets a new job is if the new job pays less then what he would have been making, then they pay the difference (i.e. if he was making $10 mil a year with Denver and took a deal in Washington worth $7 mil, the Broncos would still be on the hook for $3 mil a year until the Broncos contract would have been up)

Pete Carroll ACCEPTS deal with Seattle

didn't they know Cowher was available??????????? People here complain that Buffalos front office/ownership is bad, but Seattle didn't even attempt to go after St. Cowher. -
A trade worth looking into
apuszczalowski replied to Armchair GM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So the Bills should trade a kick returner that wants more playing time as a WR, for a Kick returner who wants more time as a WR? people undervalue Roscoes return abilities. He had a bad year this year, but before that, he was one of the best in the league. How quickly Bills fans forget -
not only that, the bilboard is directed the wrong way. THE BILLS FRONT OFFICE WANT COWHER TOO. This Billboard should be directed at Cowher showing HIM how much the fans want him here. The front office knows this, everyone else knows this, the fans still think its just as easy as the bills front office giving him a shout and he is the coach.

Browns keep Mangini
apuszczalowski replied to 2020 Our Year For Sure's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As much as I don't like Mangini, I think it was the right move for The Browns, He had the team playing well to end the season, he earned the chance to keep his job. -
Where did you hear that it was the owners decision to let those guys go? Last time I heard it was the coaches and "GM" that made the personel decisions for the team
-
has he? He just hired them, lets wait and see if he just sits back and let them do their jobs Jones and Snyder are also in markets where money is no object, they can spend all they want and not have to worry about being in a small market and bankrupting the franchise
-
Not Polian, he is a football GM god and can make no mistake. I guess it must be just as hard for the Panthers to get people to come there, they let his holyness go too
-
If this is true, then why do guys sign in Oakland, or Washington, or Dallas? Al Davis is even crazier then Ralph and run that team further into the ground. Snyder is even more meddling and has less respect for his staff. Jerry Jones is almost as meddling as Snyder. Everyone wants to have someone to blame and its come down to facing Ralph, who has alot of respect throughout the league. How many times do you hear guys leave Buffalo and have bad things to say about the front office or coaches? Face it, the City of Buffalo is not an attractive city. Theres nothing there, its poor and small market.

I see you believe everything you read on the internet
-
It asn't bad in Chicago, they were in teh Super Bowl with it. As for the rushing defence, yes, they did give up alot of yards on the ground, but they stopped teams when it counts, and the most important fact is they kept teams out of the endzone, the only stat worth a damn. I believe they said in this game when the offence scored more then 17 points they were something like 5-2.
-
The DEFENCE is not the problem, It actual kept them from fighting St. Louis for the #1 pick. The Offence is the problem, you can't win games if you can't score points.
-
And he was playing with a Practice Squad Offence with a rookie OC & HC in the snow, whats your point? No one is saying he should be starting next year

He's worth keeping around as a #2 QB He can come in and be effective, but he's not a #1 guy

Chargers Fans Thoughts on Nix

Why does it matter if they interviewed 2 guys or 200 guys if they got a good one? -
Schefter & Mort say Bills and Cowher met this week
apuszczalowski replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not really, unless the co-ordinators really cared where they would be coaching. Plus Cowher knows whos interested and has an idea where he would like to go, he has more then likely let those co-ordinators know the options when he spoke with them. These co-ordinators know there 32 options where they could go, rule out atleast 1/2 those destinations as places not changing coaching staffs and so on and they can probably count on one hand the places they could end up working with Cowher.
