The Jets are decent, but no way representing the AFC in the Superbowl unless there is a huge epidemic of the swine flu that wipes out every other team. They were lucky that they ended the season with 2 teams that basically laid down for them and walked them into the playoffs. They do have a great defence and Rex Ryan is a good defensive coach, but I would say that they ahve great coaching "top to bottom". They might get better buts its still debatable if Sanchez is going to be a guy that can carry the team or if they will have to continue to dumb down the offence and coach him the proper way to slide. This is the guy who threw over a 1/2 dozen picks to the Bills secondary in 2 games this season. I like the back storey of the injury and how you normally have better things to do to try and hide the fact that you are a Jets troll trying to rub it in to Bills fans

Did someone forgetto the the Jets that you can't be a successful team and make the playoffs without hiring an experienced coach with a great track record?

I have no problem with a DC as the HC as long as he brings in a top notch OC to run that side of the ball and they bring in a good QB to run the offence

he coached the scheme that they played in, Do you believe that after seeing the defence with guys that big in the middle and the success it has he would continue the DJ approach of smaller guys? You don't think he wouldn't try building a defence similar to the Vikings? The Tampa 2 is so horrible? Tell that to the Colts, Bears, Bucs, all teams that have played in the SB in the last decade with that defence.

i have said it for a long time, this defence isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be Fans are screaming about going 10 years without a playoff brith, and with the offensive offence the Bills have now, want to throw in rebuilding an entire defence that will involve almost a complete overhaul of personel? If Bills fans want to wait 2-3 more years for a playoff spot hoping that they can make a 3-4 defence work in Buffalo just cause 'all the cool teams use it", then fine, just don't B word and moan when they continue to be on the outside looking in at this time next year.

Thats it, it would make them feel all "warm and fuzzy" knowing they have a coach who has won before and they will believe that the coach can do it all over again All the best coaches had to start somewhere

Why does everyone believe that the only good coaches are ones who have coached before? Just because they have had success elsewhere doesn't mean they will always be successful, and good coaches have to start somewhere. All I hope is that whomever is given the job has some kind of coaching experience (co-ordinator, etc.), is a good football mind, and assembles a great cast of coaches to surround him

Why would Frazier still interview in Seattle because Caroll wasn't given full control?? Are they looking at him as a GM or a co-ordinator? I wouldn't have a problem with him as a Head Coach here. Good coaches have to start somewhere and with him running the same/similar defence, it would allow the Bills to focus where they need the most improvement, the offence, while they bring in a few more pieces to improve the defence and not have to start all over with a defence thats been "good enough" to be a playoff team. the Tampa-2 can be a successful defence, and Frazier has seen it work and knows whats needed (How many people here would be ecstatic with a defensive line consisting of guys like Williams in the middle?)

Tebow has had a great college career and probably will be a 1st rounder, but no where does that say he will have a great NFL career. See Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, JP Losman, etc (ok, the last 2 can still have careers if they can turn things around since they are still active in the NFL)

You are back now? I know that Lynch has been to the Pro Bowl, we all accepted his "problems" when he was in. But now that he has had one bad year and not a Pro Bowler anymore, we want to run him out of town cause he is a "Thug" and low life.

And you know this how? You would think that in the 50 years of owning a pro football team, RW would know what a GM and HC do. All that was reported and said is that they will go to Ralph with Nix and his teams top 2-3 choices for GM to make the final decision. Ralph isn't the one going to them saying to hire Coach "X", or Coach "Y". He is being included in the final decision or Nix's choices just as the guy who signs the checks should be included. i guess now with DJ gone, along with his coaching staff, Guy and Modrak have now been thrust into the top spot of TBD whipping boys, Congrats Guy and Modrak! its quite the honor

i'm not blindly loyal, I just don't kick and scream and whine cause the team didnt make the moves I wanted them too, and I don't feel like I know more then they do, or that just because the media hasn't made info public that they aren't doing things behind the scenes. You will find that life can be much better if the decisions of the team bothers you so much if you just find a team that makes the choices you want. No one is holding a gun to your head to stay a fan. If you don't like the teams decisions, buy them and run them how you want, or, go become the GM, or head coach, or get a job working for the team. It can't be that hard, the fans here seem to always make the right choices

Pulling a gun on a family member = Thug (also didn't he have something from back in college too?), or is he only a thug when the fans find someone better on the roster? How about Steve "HOFer before even starting an NFL game" Johnson? If only the NFL and the rest of the league could see the 7th round talent as well as the fans can from pre-season games and a dozen or so catches in the regular season

Go ahead, no one is making you be a Bills fan. If you don't like how the team is run, go find one that is run the way you want. people make it sound like once you become a fan of a team, you have to stick with it and just cry and complain when things don't go the way you want. But you aren't forced to be a fan. Your life will probably be a lot more enjoyable if you find a team that makes you happy and is run how you want it, and us other fans will be happier cause we won't have to hear people whinning about how things are so bad
