  1. well, except for Ralph, he has to sell the team to keep them in Buffalo so I can be happy
  2. No, I think its just the usual whining that the bills are not going to get the "big Name" the fans want so they will hire a reject that the fans will give up on before he even coaches a game and the team should move But I could be wrong, I didn't waste my time actually reading the entire thing, just scanned it
  3. Thats why the Bills have to fix the defence!
  4. But AJ Smith is supposed to be one of those huge mistakes by Ralph and the Bills, "GM Football God v2.0"
  5. Sure you do Jets Troll If it wasn't for a couple teams taking off the last few weeks the Jets wouldn't even be in the playoffs, yet they are as you said, the best team in the NFL?
  6. Does he? He his team has one more playoff win then the Bills over the last decade The reason why is because he makes more money being in a better market and he can throw money around to try and fix his problems and build over the top stadiums. Football wise, he doesn't know anymore then Ralph Wilson does
  7. Jim Leonard is not a huge loss, I would take the DB's on the current Bills over him right now. Jabari Greer and Antoine Winfield aren't as missed because there are some decent players that took their place. Hargrove was a great cheerleader for the fans, and wouldhave been a great backup/reserve for the Bills d-line, but he wouldn't start here and wasn't missed much. Sam Aiken isn't going to beat out Evans as a #1 and isn't goodenough to be a #1b or #2, he isn't really missed either except for maybe on special teams Pat Williams is getting up there in age, but he is probably the only one that was actually missed
  8. Yeah, teams did run all over the Bills, but they kept the other team out of the endzone most of the time, and thats what counts. Sure the defence could always use upgrades, but its at a point where if they had an offence that was a threat to put up more then 20 points a game, they would have been in the playoffs. If you actually looked at the games, the defence kept the games close while being on the field about 90% of the game up until the 4th quarter in more than 3/4's of the games this year Get an offence that can score and the bills are a playoff team. Maybe not a serious SB contendor, but they are a playoff team
  9. They interviewed Shanahan before the end of the season, Fewell, Frazier, supposedly Harbaugh (the Stanford Coach), I believe Weiss was also given an interview. They have spoken too (or atleast expressed their interest) to Cowher and they have been given permission to speak to Grimm (now that the Cards are out I would assume something is going to be set up). The only ones they have asked that have denied an interview are Brian Shottenheimer, his dad has said publically he doesn't want to coach anywhere and he wants to stay retired, and Gruden has said he also is not interested in returning to coaching at this time. I don't remember if they spoke with Rivera or not, but now he could get a chance to interview
  10. Who cares if he is from PA, his uncle was a HOFer for the Bills, HE SHOULD BE A BILLS FAN!!!!!! How dare he not represent the Bills! i thought it was funny too that they said he was from Buffalo, yet he wore an eagles jersey. The look he gave too when they announced him made me think he has a huge ego
  11. But, But, But, he was a coach on a Dick Jauron staff, so obviously he had been tainted and had to go cause theorganisation had to rid itself of everything DJ related
  12. The Jets defence is very good, and its the reason why they are in the spot they are in, plus a whole lot of luck at the end of the year that the cards all fell their way to back into the playoffs. But thats not the only way to build a winning team. Theres no one right way to build a team. At this point, the quickest way to get the Bills to the playoffs would be to strngthen the line and upgrade the QB position. The defence is good enough to getthem into the playoffs as is, but its not good enough to carry a team with no offence.
  13. Ok, but how many of those guys are actually the reasons why their team is in the place that they are and have had an impact? That would be a better list to prove your point
  14. Its funny how everyone says that Ralph meddles so much and that its because of this that good players and personel stay away, yet Jerry Jones patrols the sidelines during a loss and the big names still flock to Dallas
  15. Are you seriously trying to say that Rex Ryan in Baltimore had less talent on defence then Frazier has in Minneosota?
  16. No way, I would pass on Charlie, has he ever been able to kick that FG?
  17. Atleast the Bills aren't alone in this, Denver did the same thing this year Cowtippur - It all depends on what better suits your agenda. If Ralph is cheap, then those were rumors and never offered. If you are on the side that believes no one wants to step foot in Buffalo cause Ralph meddles too mucch and is hindering the team, then they were offered and the guys took less money just so they wouldn't have to come here
  18. And how do you propose they do that besides relocating the team to a location closer to his home so he can spend more time with his family? HE DOESN"T NEED THE MONEY. Coaching the Bills is going to require a full rebuild that is going to take alot of work and alot of time. Taking over a team like the Panthers (close to his home) or the Cowboys if/when Wade is shown the door are alot closer to being a playoff team/Super Bowl Contender then the Bills are.
  19. Who says it would be a better situation then what we have now? It would only be better for the whiney fans who believe anything negative about the organisation that any hack reporter says. Right now the Bills under the current ownership sell out every game and have fan support, the NFL doesn't care about anything more then that. The NFL put that policy in place cause they Didn't want any other team to have the same ownership, why would they turn around now and say "Ok, you can do it even though we don't like the idea" Maybe some of the reason why players and coaches don't want to come to Buffalo is because Buffalo is just not an attractive place to live? The population is dwindling and people are leaving all the time cause theres nothing there. Look at McGahee, he wanted out not because of the ownership situation and Ralphs meddling but because there was nothing in Buffalo
  20. Who cares if Grimm doesn't want to interview here? I thought that the decision on this board was that he sucks cause he is only a "running game co-ordinator" on a team that relies on its passing game?
  21. At the moment your right, coach the Bills or go back to a sweet job at CBS and wait out one of HIS choices that better suits him and his family. Cowher is in a position to do this. He doesn't need the money, already has a job, has nothing left to prove in the league, and can sit and wait for a job opening that he wants
  22. Ralph pays for performance. After DJ was 5-1, the Bills paid him in the top 10 of coaches in the league. That just proves Ralph is Cheap and won't open his wallet!
  23. You are right, why have the Bills not interviewed the co-ordinators from the Lions, Chiefs, Rams, Raiders, Browns, etc. I mean, we have to have a HC now!!!!!! There is so much going on now that the Bills are losing out on by not having a coach in place before the playoffs are even half over and all the other teams in the league are filling the MANY HC vacancies. So who have the Bills lost out on hiring cause they were taken as co-ordinators by other teams? Haslett? - Now DC in Washington Weiss? - Was interviewed and the Bills decided against him Crennel? - Joined Weiss "re-uniting the Band" in KC Fewell? - Bills also interviewed him, he might be the only one the Bills "Lost out on" by not acting quickly No lets see, No one here wanted Haslett, or Crennel cause of previous failures, same with Weiss although he did have some supporters here but mostly as a OC. Fewell had some supporters recently, probably because of the frustration by fans of not hiring someone now and his interest by other teams Sure there are lots of other guys they can potentially interview, but the Bills FO doesn't feel that any of those guys have the potential to turn things around here, they are looking for quality, not quantity of interviews
  24. maybe they don't see the urgency because he told them he was waiting to see all of his options? The Bills have spoke to him, Ralph himself even said that if you want to know what Cowher thinks you should ask him.
  25. Why are people so Slow around here? The Bills front office knows that the fans want Cowher, THEY WANT HIM TOO. But theres not much you can do if the guy doesn't want to be here. Sometimes money isn't always the motive to go somewhere when you already have it. If he doesn't think its the best move for himself and his family, you can put up all the Billboards and send all the emails you want, but HE IS NOT GOING TO COME HERE
