He plays a position where there is alot of depth all over the league. He isn't a #1 WR so teams aren't running out to sign him. Its still early for teams to sign #3-4 WR's. He will be picked up just prior to a teams Training Camp for $1-2 mil, or some team will bring him in to replace someone who gets injured in Camp.
-
Try closer to $5 mil. TO has not sunk to the level of accepting a $2-3 mil a year deal. He knows he only has a few years left and is lokking for one last payday. He did his one year "show everyone I can be good and still play" and is now looking for a team to give him his last payday. For $2-3 mil. he would have been signed by now
-
And he did nothing to help out his QB's either. its a 2 way street. He could have done so much more to help out the QB and the team, but instead, he decided he would just coast through the year and do just enough to get by.

What is the chance that we
apuszczalowski replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its not like the additional backs the Bills have added are top level guys. Simpson was left to walk from the Colts, they already let Mendenhall go. These are guys they are taking a look at early incase they need someone later in the year due to injuries, or for special teams -
What is the chance that we

I'd say about 95% chance. The only way Lynch is moved is if the FO gets blown away by an offer for him. Some Teams are starting to move to using 3 backs. As pointed out, the Giants did it in their SB year, The Chargers did it, the Redskins currently look to be going in that direction. Theres no rule that says you can't have 3 backs and run them each equally. All 3 of them have different styles and are completly different players, they all bring something different to the table. And where is all this "Lynch has made it known he wants out" talk coming from? Just because he didn't come out to a VOLUNTARY workout with the team? Alot of veteran players do that, it doesn't mean they want to be traded -
He'll be picked up closer to Training camp by some team when he lowers his asking price. No one is going to givehim top dollar right now with the baggage that always comes along with him. He did great trying not to be such a side show attraction in Buffalo this year, but who knows how long he can keep it up?
-
There was some good to Williams her in buffalo, things just didn't work out and they cut ties early with him. In time, he may have worked out alright. Williams has proved that he is a great defensive mind and puts together some great defences, but he didn't get the results we all wanted (including the FO) in the short time he was here. He was not the worst coach the Bills have had this decade

Gregg was the worst coach? I would take him over Mularky and Jauron

Buddy stated that he wanted a scatback...
apuszczalowski replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WHY DOESN'T ANYONE UNDERSTAND, THE FRONT OFFICE GOT EXACTLY WHO THEY WANTED! The reason why they didn't wait on Spiller and try to pick up a Scat Back later in the draft is because THEY WANTED SPILLER and not someone else. They felt from their interviews and evaluations that they wanted Spiller Theres nothing you can do about it but whine and cry, and apply for the GM job when it becomes available -
Miss USA contestant photos

How dare Mr. Trump have these woman pose in sexy photos showing off their beauty and looks. Does he not realise that these woman are competing in a Beauty Pagent? They should all have to wear full length amish dresses and hoods while they are quizzed jeopardy style. Isn't that what a beauty pagent is? -
Please go drink bleach or become a Pats fan (or chose from any other team), the Bills don't need or want you Waaaaaaaaaaa, the Bills didn't sign some big name guys and didn't draft guys I have heard of and ESPN or some other draft magazine/website told me were good. They should just call their season off, why bother playing?

Recent cutting of players
apuszczalowski replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These players are camp fodder guys that were brought in to fill out the roster during camps. The coaches either didn't like what they saw from these guys, or saw enough to know that they weren't what they needed and let them go. Nothing more, nothing less. Coaches use this time to evaluate guys that may be called upon later in the year to fill depth spots in case of injury, or they are brought in with hopes that they may have found a "diamond in the rough" player -
Gaither - How many wins is he worth?
apuszczalowski replied to Coach55's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? He wasn't a problem this year so why try and get rid of him? Everyone thinks the only way to win is to have All-Pros at every spot on the line or else the team sucks. As for the riginal question, lets look at the facts. With a Pro Bowler at LT (Peters) how many games did the Bills win? How many games did the Bills win without Peters and having a revolving door of cast offs maning the "Most important position" ? I guess the answer is what, 1 win? Another way to answer it is, How many games is Gaither going to show up and play 100% in? -
Who cares if he made his intentions known to the FANS now or not. What is he going to do? Are they going to be mad that he hasn't shown up to rookie camp? He is a veteran who has been in the league long enough that as long as he shows up at training camp, he will be fine. Its also not like the front office and coaches are just sitting around with no clue what to do if he decides not to come back. Right now, if they don't already know and just haven't announced it, they are working now as if he isn't coming back, and then if he does, great, its a plus And BTW, Schoebel isn't "washed up" or done, hes one of the better players on this D and would be great if he came back cause he is a plus
-
He did, but the guy he fired wasn't insane and wouldn't try to break his face like the guy he currently has now. I would be very afraid to try and tell Cable that things aren't working out and he was being let go...................
-
I think the biggest downfall to the Jets is the "problem" players they keep taking on. Holmes was getting in trouble playing in Pittsburgh, now he will be in the spotlight of "The Big Apple". Theres alot more temptation in NY for players to get in trouble if they aren't careful. They are also getting older at some key positions. Letting go of their running game from last year and bringing in a rookie and a worn down Tomlinson weakens the running game, and I don't think many people outside of NY saw anything out of Sanchez last year that impressed them and thought he could be a QB that could carry a team or lead them instead of just playing not to lose. Their biggest strength is the defence. I would say that the Division is going to be between them and the Pats this year, unless they implode on themselves

Nix: Blockers Get Better With Spiller
apuszczalowski replied to symbiant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So how do you explain the fact that with a ProBowl LT, and now without one, the Bills still end the season with the same results? -
Nix: Blockers Get Better With Spiller
apuszczalowski replied to symbiant's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes it does, it makes perfect sense Bills go into FA and don't sign a FA LT that has a name people have heard of on ESPN. They don't g out and trade for a LT that people have heard of on ESPN. The Bills don't draft a LT in the 1st or 2nd rounds of the draft that Mel or Mort have in their mocks. The Bills only go out and sign a RT that was not re-signed by his previous team, and since his previous team sucked, he sucks. Therefore, The Bills o-line is no better and will continue to suck this year cause no one on ESPN is talking about how the Bills entire o-line is going to the Pro Bowl this year before the season is even played. -
So you would prefer that they spend their second round pick on another player at a position thats not a serious need, just so they can have another local boy on the team? Just because the "Draft Experts" rate a guy somewhere, that doesn't mean he is actually rated that way by the team. The guys being paid the Big Bucks by Ralph to assemble and coach this team have guys rated where they feel they should be by how they would fit in the Bills system. They got the guy they wanted with the pick, and the guy they feel can help them the most from Day one, which is what Buddy wants in his early picks.

Is Jeff Ireland's mom a prostitute?
apuszczalowski replied to BEAST MODE BABY!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that was the 49ers As for Ireland, that line of questioning is highly inapropriate, I don't care what kind of job its for. It is non of his buisness, unless he was looking to make a transaction later on. What does his mom ever being a prostitute have to do with him playing NFL football? -
JaMarcus Russel about to be cut
apuszczalowski replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the Bills made it work with a TE, why not a QB? Maybe Jackie Chan Gailey makes his own version of the wildcat where the ball gets snapped to the LT who throws it deep to Evans? Evans was most productive when he had JP throwing him the deep ball.................. -
Demeterius Bell has ACL injury
apuszczalowski replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They did, his name is Ed Wang How about Gaither? How about a guy who doesn't have motivation issues and actually wants to play -
They cut him cause he is old and his play was declining, the Jets had a young guy that theyfeel is ready to take his place so he was cut. The Bills are in full rebuild mode and have 2 starting young guards that need more time and experience on the field, and he probably has no interest in becoming a backup

The league just suspended a guy for 6 games just for being accused, its not just the Bills that are staying away from players with "troubled" pasts.
