  1. Why aren't we telling him to shut up with the tweeting? i thought you had to prove yourself as a Pro Bowler on the field before you were permitted to Tweet as a Buffalo Bill?
  2. Why not just get Kelly to suit up again, I think they are around the same age. GARCIA IS DONE IN THE NFL, HE IS OLD AND NOT AN IMPROVMENT as for Vick, not for bringing him in but I think its time that everyone just let the guy live his life now that he has served his time. The guy can't even celebrate his birthday anymore according to most here, unless he secludes himself in his house at all times just in case.......... The guy had nothing to do with the shooting, and he left the club prior to it happening. people are trying to dig too deep to find something against the guy now
  3. We would all whine and complain that the Bills still are getting no respect by the National media and complain since the bills didn't beat the other team worse
  4. What will come first, Bass Pro being built in Buffalo over the old Aud, the next Bills playoff win, or Darcy Regier actually siging a Free Agent not picked up in the Bargain Bin? I too don't get why Bass Pro is going to be this huge saviour, it is just an oversized outdoors store that will bring a bunch of minimum wage jobs to the city
  5. I was all for trying to get him earlier. He did not suck in Baltimore, he did well (but not great) in a few seasons in Baltimore, he got sick in the offseason and had to be replaced with Joe Flacco who lit it up as the starter and they couldn't go back to Smith. Smith was only moved to #2 because Flacco played even better and the team started winning more. Why not bring him in?
  6. No they aren't, THERE IS NO CAP THIS COMING SEASON
  7. The only one of those 3 that you can actually say (if you view things from a non Bills view) stunk things up on the field is maybe McCargo who hasn't really done anything in his career, although thats debatable seeing as how the great and almighty Bill Polian tried to acquire him from the Bills but the deal fell through when he failed his physical. Whitner and even Kelsay have been viewed as good to decent players at their positions. They aren't Pro Bowlers, but they aren't horrible players. Whitner is only looked down on in Buffalo cause of where he was drafted, and people think Kelsay sucks cause they expect more out of a guy making as much as he does. The other things fans have to realise is that this team isn't as bad as they view it. Detroit has a winless season, and many 1-3 win seasons over the last decade. They have been god awful and a complete overhaul was required. When you are that bad theres alot of guys going to be cut/moved. Over the last decade, the Bills have been average to slightly below average finishing around 7-9 almost every year. Thats mediocre, not bad. The problem is that with a completly new coaching staff putting in a completly new offence and defence in place, they don't know what they have in players and are using this offseason and season to review the guys they have and see if they can use them in different areas. The team is very young at alot of positions, and if the coaching staff was as bad as we all felt, some of these guys may just need some new coaching. They aren't trying to turn this team around in one year just to appease the fans. They are trying to build this team for the longhaul so they aren't a "one-and-done" flash in the pan team. They want a team that has a solid foundation that can be built off of. I believe that it is actually easier to turn around a losing team like the Lions in a shorter period because your already at the bottom, theres only one way to go, up.
  8. That remminds me, you can throw in soldiers into that equations, guys who really do risk life and limbs daily to fight for us. Do any of them over their millitary careers make as much as Lee Evans makes per game?
  9. The offence was bad That explains why both players stats were bad, but TO also had plenty more opportunity to make himself look better, but instead he didn't fight for balls, gave up on routes, and didn't try to break up interceptions. this was clear as day if you actually watched the games this year, and was even clearer if you saw him in person. It wasn't just this year, TO has done this for years. A friend of mine during the NO game we went to (he's a Cowgirls fan) and he said to watch, you can read TO to see if the play calls for him to get the ball cause he gives little effort if its not.
  10. I have been saying this all along, its their plan to use all 3, except that people have to stop thinking of Spiller as a RB, expecially the #2 back. Jackson and Lynch are the #1a & 1b RB's, Spiller will fill in for either and take a few carries a game, but he will also be used to catch passes out of the backfield. THATS WHAT HE WAS DRAFTED FOR. He is not a replacement for Lynch, he is to completement a team that is going to focus its offence on keeping the ball on the ground and use screen passes to move the chains. Its not that hard to understand, and its the reason why Gailey and Nix aren't actively trying to shop Lynch
  11. Are they really "risking Life and Limb" to play football? How many plays every year lose a limb or die due to football every season? How many people working a manual labour job lose their life or limbs at work? How many public servents (i.e. police, firemen, etc) risk life and limb doing their job? Where are their multi million dollar pays? Sure, they put their bodies through alot of punishment, but thats why they are paid way more then most people will ever see, the problem is that they don't invest it wisely and continue to want more so that they can continue to live the "high life"
  12. Theres no cap this year, and if the NFLPA has its way, they will try and make sure theres never one again. The only way the Jets are screwed in this deal is if the new CBA contains a salary cap, this spending will bite them only then, but I could see the league making some exceptions or something to help teams get back under the cap
  13. Can someone explain to me this, the Chargers end up cutting a SS, even though they (according to the original poster) have a serious need for one, that they are going to trade for 2 guys (Whitner and Bell/Meredith) that (according to the fans here) have absolutly no value for a guy that has a spinal condition that could seriously affect his career as a player? And these same people have the balls to call this front office dumb or not doing their job because they haven't tried making this deal? Please, let the FO stick to making the decisions on players and trades, they obviously see something in these guys that lead them to believe they are worth playing or they would be actively looking for a replacement if its as vital as everyone here thinks.
  14. What was their choice? They were only going to keep 2 GB's, one being the guy who is already the #1, Aaron Rogers, and then its between Brohm and Flynn. They decided they saw more in Flynn so the only choice was to waive brohm to get him on the practice squad or waive Flynn. Just because he wasn't picked up by another team doesn't mean anything, not everyone has open roster spots that they are willing to use to take a chance on a QB, the Bills did. Mo one is saying the Bills have the next Manning or Brady or Brees on their hands, all people are saying is to not right off Brohm, he has just as much of a chance to become the Bills next Qb as the other 2 guys, and he has the background to possibly become a decent QB
  15. I would not be against the Bills bringing in a proven #2 WR to play with Evans, If the "young guys" are good, they can show it to the coaches and make the coaches put them in. I don't like guys being given the spot just to see if they can play, make them prove they are players with some competition for the spot. Every spot should be up for grabs with competition. I would just say no to TO cause he isn't worth it and hasn't done anything in the last few years to show he is worth bringing in besides dropping balls and giving a half-@ssed effort on plays he knows aren't going to him
  16. It can't be brohm, he has no chance. If you haven't read this board yet its apparent to all the "keyboard GM's" here that brohm is complete garbage because the Packers let him go and he cleared waivers before becoming a Bill. Obviously he should just retire because even though he was a 2nd rounder who could have been a 1st rounder, and had a great college career at a decent school, his NFL career has already been determined by guys who haven't even seen him at OTA's and practices like the Bills FO. I can't believe the Bills FO still have jobs when the fans here can already determine a players worth without even seeing as much as the coaches do
  17. Why? he was no help last year, what makes you think he would be any help this year?
  18. Lionel Ritchie - Can't Slow Down, that album changed my life. "Who Hurt you Lionel? Who Hurt you? Who Hurt You?"
  19. he was heading back to buffalo? I thought he said he was going back to see family in Canada? Sounds fishy that he "started to dose off behind the wheel", definitly not a good thing with your child in the car, good to know that this ended well and no one was seriously hurt
  20. Thats the reason why the Bills said they have no intention of dealing Marshawn. Jackson and Lynch are the 1A/1B RB tandem, Spiller will line up as a RB and as a WR, playing more of a multi threat role, allowing the Bills to have a power running game they have been looking for since they draft McGahee to tandem with Henry. Theres a new trend starting to form with teams looking at 3 RB offences
  21. I wonder if this is the reason why he hasn't been officially announced as being signed, the Bills coaching staff could be trying to evaluate and decide who is going to get cut to open a spot up
  22. Schobel isn't going to be traded, no team will want him unless he is 110% commited to playing. Right now he wants to be able to just show up on game day, play, then spend the week with his family. As for Lynch, why does no body get it? THE COACHES WANT LYNCH TO PLAY. Fred and Marshawn are the 1A/1B tandem RB's, Spiller is going to line up all over the offence playing RB and WR. Teams are now starting to look at 3 RB systems, Dallas is doing it now, the Giants used it in their SuperBowl run
  23. I don't think Buress is on the Giants anymore........... And no, the Bills can't help them out, they have enough of a lack of proven talent at WR. For Return guys, they have Parrish, McKelvin, and Spiller. McGee is getting too old to be returning kicks and playing CB, and Fred Jackson can fill in if they get thin at that spot due to injuries.
  24. I don't think Shanahan said they would release him before April 1st, just that he could search for a team willing to trade for him. I have no sympathy for Albert. He plays a sport for a living, and was awarded one of the biggest contracts given in the league. Now he is crying cause the new position they are asking him to play won't allow him to get big stats like he has in the past. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa If you are making that kind of money, it shouldn't matter if they ask you to play QB or kicker. its a team GAME that you are being paid more then Doctors, and teachers, and Police officers, and Soldiers and other occupations that are more important to society then DT on a football team.
