Its also the same change everyone here was whining and crying for that "Had to be done". This defence hasn't been great, but its not Whitners fault, as for the comment about making tackles 3+ yards from the line of scrimage, hes a DB, atleast he's making those tackles cause the DB's are the last line of defence between the offence and he endzone. Theres atleast 7 guys infront of him that are supposed to be stopping guys at the LOS

What message is the league office sending?

Justbe glad none of them celebrated the fight afterwards, that would have tripled the fine and you'd be done for the season! -
Official Steve Johnson Love and Support Thread

Funny how this happens to Stevie and everyone rallies around to support him, yet wasn't it last year when McKelvin had his lawn vandilised for droping a kick against the Pats? -
Phillips / Childress Fired... Singletary on Last Legs
apuszczalowski replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
John Fox is probably good til the end of the season, I'm also going out on a bit of a limb and say McDaniels in Denver. I thought I saw a stat on TV last night that says the Broncos have lost 15 of their last 20 games -
Phillips / Childress Fired... Singletary on Last Legs

I was saying yesterday at home that I expected Lewis on the unemployement line by today after that complete collapse and embarrassment yesterday, but once I saw the score in the GB/Vikes game i thought it would be a close race to who gets canned first -
Maybe before the rain, but it wasn't 60 the entire game, it became COLD once the rain started falling. I wouldn't look too much into this, the guy also included Alex Smith, Tavares Jackson, and Matt leinart

Now this is bad stadium behavior, not in Buffalo
apuszczalowski replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And people are wondering why the league and teams are cracking down on Tailgating and drinking at games. The reason why this stuff doesn't happen at NHL, NBA, and MLB games is because they don't involve huge tailgate parties before the game. -
I believe its basically an embassador type position. Write the occasional article for the bills website, appear at a few games, do a couple of public appearances during both the season and offseason and remind all the remaining Bills fans of the "glory Days" He isn't a coach, or a scout (I believe Thurman has a position where he does a little scouting), his job is just to make appearances and promote the team

If he could catch the ball, he would be a WR

I disagree, things are different these days and society in general think that they should be able to do what they want (get drunk, use drugs)and not be responsible because they are "Just enjoying themselves" and everyone else is just being uptight about it. The NFL and the Bills aren't just doing it cause they want to ruin your fun, they are doing it cause of the liability of you being there and hurting yourself or someone else and then suing them because of it -

Drafting in the top 5 has always immediatly turned teams around. How many times has Detroit, St. Louis, Tampa bay, etc drafted top 5 in the last decade? -
Buffalo to sign RB Quinton Ganther

Bell also has to stay on the active roster since Philly took him from Buffalos practice squad. You can't pick someone up off a PS to go onto your PS, he has to stay on the active roster -
Can the secondary please help win a game?
apuszczalowski replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The DB's have had plenty of opportunities to make plays, they just haven't been making them like they did last year when the Bills didn't have anymore of a pass rush -
Buffalo is atleast playing as expected, maybe better then expected. The Cowboys are underachieving (thats being nice), I'm not embarrassed at being a Bills fan right now, especially since the Bye, but I would be embarrassed to be a Cowboys fan this season.........

Perry Fewell Assistant Coach of the Year
apuszczalowski replied to HarkinBanks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what everyone wanted, the Bills had to switch to a 3-4 to be successful! No one that had been in the same room as DJ could stay because he has tainted them with his loser mentality and the defence last year was so bad it was the reason they were horrible I said many times last year that the defence was not the problem and actually pretty good, it was the offence that needed the overhaul and was costing them games. -
No outrage over Merrimans past arrest?
apuszczalowski replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Such an intellegent response, I guess you have now just proven me wrong Whats so ignorant about what I said? The double standards around here are amazing, he comes to Buffalo and all the sudden everyone is digging for excuses ("Maybe it was just a tainted supplement?") and ready to annoint him a saint "was just trying to keep a drunk driver off the road, he should be given an award!" and "Who cares, it was just Tila Tequila!" Yet BR we will crucify when he has never been CHARGED, let alone convicted of anything (And the NFL is not a court of Law, and theres really no method to Goodells punishments except how he feels that day) -
Does Shawn Merriman start on Sunday?
apuszczalowski replied to infernus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He hasn't even arrived in Buffalo yet (They expect him to today) He has also already been ruled out for this weeks game. Just because the guy passed a physical, it doesn't mean he is anywhere near being game ready yet. It just means that he has healed enough from his injury to pass the physical -

Are you trying to say that a 100lb (if that) female is going to be able to over power a male football player atleast 150lbs larger then her (and with a past of using HGH/roids) that they would need to use excessive force? Ben was ACCUSED on 2 seperate occasions in 2 seperate offseasons bt 2 sepearate woman. Charges were never pressed against him, yet there are all these "CREDIBLE" witnesses that saw him sexually assault these woman? His best season, statistically came in the year he was suspended (of course we all know its a fact that steriods leave your system the second you get caught for taking them), the next year was slightly better statistically then his first year and its never been close since. What everyone else seems to not want to acknowledge was that the lawsuit he won didn't have to do with the assault, it was with regards to her using his "Lights Out" logo and trademark infringement, the only reason he won was because she failed to respond to the case and he won by default In December 2009, Merriman filed a civil suit against Tequila, alleging intentional interference with contract, unfair competition, and trademark infringement. He claimed that Tequila improperly used his own "Lights Out" logo and disrupted negotiations for t-shirts to be marketed by Wal-Mart. She failed to respond to the suit at all, and a default judgment was entered in his favor for $2 million. -

Its really comical reading the defensive responses from everyone here just because he is now a Bill. Fans are now trying to lessen what happened and justify it (She was drunk and was going to drive, its only Tila Tequila and she probably deserved it!, he hasn't been accused of anything like that since). Seems some here will defend him now, yet have Ben R as #2 worst human in the NFL for being "ACCUSED" by 2 woman of trying to have sex with them, the last one she was so drunk she couldn't remember it. People will make up and assume thiings about Vick, like that he "got off" personally killing dogs, and everyone ran Marshawn from town assuming that he really did intentially steel $20 from an innocent woman "just because" and desperatly wanted him gone because he clipped a Canadian with his car and was found with weed (something most think is harmless and should be legal) and a gun (something everyone feels they need to have in the US) in his car. Even if she was drunk and he was just trying to be a Good Samaritan/Saint and stop her, there is such a thing as using excessive force, and a +/-250lb NFL linebacker (who had been found taking HGH/Roids) choking a +/-100lb drunk female is way more force then needed to keep someone from getting away -

Its simple, its because he's now a Bill ........and also probably because it was only a dirty, skanky wannabe bisexual prostitute -
I didnt even know he was eligible for the PS
