  1. Nix, Gailey, and the rest of the coaching staff might disagree with your comment
  2. Well I have to admit I was wrong. In the thread last week where someone was asking if the bills would be on the cover of SI if they won, i said not likely, it would more then likely be used for the baseball playoffs. I guess a second straight come from behind win gets alot of people noticing the Bills
  3. And now Simmonds decides that tolerance towards a persons race is more important than tolerance towards a persons sexuality http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=376851 But of course, he said it towards Avery so obviously Avery deserved it
  4. I love how they want it pulled because of the name and the fact that they don't want their kids asking for a flavour with that name. Nothing about the fact that they don't want their children eating a "rum flavoured" Ice Cream. Chubby Hubby is fine for a name (even though its basically calling your husband fat), but renaming it for a short time Hubby Hubby is bad because kids will see that name, and automatically think homosexuality and probably become Gay just from eating it or asking for it?
  5. I don't know who is more overrated, Romo or Sanchez Both Qb's don't impress me, and both play for teams that seem to win without needing to have a QB that will win the game for them
  6. Chan was blasted on WGR, and by some here for saying that he expects to win every game this year.....
  7. i've heard of him, Get'er dun Buddy, Ralph is CHEAP!
  8. The Bills might be their NFL story in that weeks issue, but I doubt the cover. MLB playoffs will be starting next week, so the cover will probably be about that. not many people outside of Buffalo really care about them beating the Patriots.
  9. But how many more times are they going to review it. He and his lawyers have had around 20 years to review it and get him off death row, and they never could.
  10. how much longer, another 20 years? Every single time that they reviewed it and it was appealed, the courts ruled in favour of keeping him on death row. They held off the execution for about 4 hours last night (which they did not have to do) to allow the Supreme court review it and everyone came back with the same decision, to continue the execution. The only people that believed he should not be executed were himself and his lawyers (not surprising) and the general public who probably haven't seen half of the facts or evidence in the case but ging off of what little is released
  11. Thrill seekers who think that because they are American, they are invincible and will not be harmed (The government will save them if they get in trouble, they can't be prosecuted for something that might only be illegal in the other country and not the US)
  12. Ralph was probably just too cheap to use up the ink in his pen to sign his termination papers, or he was too cheap to pay for that electricity used by his paper shreader to cut up his contract. Ralph is cheap!
  13. Exactly, if your stupid enough to go hiking in Iran, you deserve what you get But I guess you just have to go for that better thrill
  14. They were a non-profit organisation that used the money from the government to help a for-profit organisation they had a hand in.
  15. banks still have to keep a certain amount of money around for withdrawls, not every single dime can be invested. What they are saying is that these online poker companies weren't keeping the amount of money required on hand for withdrawls which is a red flag for possible Ponzi scheme. The money was being used to pay the top guys and original investors into the company big bucks. But of course, be government is evil and anything & everything they do is to keep us down and take all of our money! You can come into a bank and request $50,000 be removed from your account, and they will tell you that you have to come back in a few days because they don't keep that amount of cash sitting around in the bank (you can thank the wonderful people who decide they want to rob banks for that), but you get your money within a few days
  16. I didn't see either of them do their roast, just the couple times near the end when the camera would pan near the roasters and thats who I figured atleast one of them may have been Usually its Lisa Lampanelli, Sarah Silverman did atleast 1 or 2 and for a bunch of them, an older female actress/comedian whos become a "flavour of the month" (Bea Arthur, Cloris Leachman, etc.). i guess this time, the older actor/actress was William Shatner, probably because he had a TV show on CBS too
  17. Pfft, Newbs I have been rocking the beard longer then Fitz has been starting in the NFL for the Bills!
  18. I think you are right about that, I forgot about that, but it makes sense now why they appeared last night. its kind of weird since Dharma was also on 2 older episodes of the show playing the crazy girl they find smashing the car in the parking lot and take in. The only reason i could think of that they brought them on otherwise is because the guy who played Greg is on another CBC show (Criminal minds). Also found out later that the guy who delivered Charlies ashes is Bill Murrays younger Brother
  19. The headline says she was 95, the article says 92 Either way, no one can steal her Marble Rye anymore
  20. I thought it was pretty good too. You could tell that they didn't want to come out looking like they wanted to attack and destroy Sheen, just come up with a comedic way of writing off one of the main characters of the show while trying to do something many shows have not needed to do in the past and continue on without one of the main cast members. I never really found Charlie to always be the "funny" one on the show. He was very good in it and had plenty of funny moments, but I found most of the laughs came from the surrounding cast around him. The funeral was great, a room packed with a couple family members and all of his ex's, plus the couple of cameos of the people coming to look at the house. Who were the woman? Were they the "Goddesses"?
  21. I was there, it felt weird, there was no advertising on the boards or Zambonis, packed benchs with only half the actual rosters playing. They also had a long tribute to all of the players who died this offseason. Great game, on the walk to the arena my friends wife said she saw Pomminville driving a white Caddy Escalade getting off the I-90. We figured he wasn't playing cause it was getting close to game time. I believe the deal last night was if you wore your old "slug" gear, they gave you 41% off any new gear in the store
  22. Either that or a guy with a couple of cases of unsold Bills Owens Jerseys he hasn't been able to move in the last year
  23. I thought about this too, they have gone from playoff team on the rise to looking worse then pathetic. I would be surprised to see them cut ties with him by week 2, but I was also surprised to see him fire an OC the week before starting a season. I do think that KC and Miami may have HC vacancies this season if they continue to struggle, but atleast Miami can look at the schedule and say they were in games they lost to some of the better teams in the league
  24. I love how the OP is talking about roscoe, and how everyone is supposedly in love with him because of his speed and he is living off of his college reputation, and then throws in how the Bills need to let him go and give the spot to Rosevelt, a guy Buffalo fans are in love with because he played at UB The only knock on Parrish is that he has not been able to stay healthy, does anyone have an idea what kind of injury he had yesterday and how long he will miss? It seemed to be some kind of leg muscle injury as thats what they were working on on the sidelines before leaving the field.
  25. People may question his fathering of so many children, but think about it, it may be a great long term investment by him. Henry was a pretty god RB in the NFL. By having so many children, he is increasing his odds of fathering atleast one that will enter the NFL in a future where they will probably be making salaries 5x more then today. If just one makes it, he will have atleast someone to support him. If they all do, he is the father of an NFL franchise worth of players and never has to work ever again!
