I think only one of the top 5 in the fan vote made it in. They said it's very rare that any of the top fan voted bands actually make it. Dave Matthews Band won the vote vote by a huge margin, Sound Garden and Judas Priest were also on the top and didn't make it. Why bother even having a fan vote....

Talking to a teammate on my hockey team, he said there someone out of Cleveland I believe who owns an early drum set of Pearts that he tours around with to charity events and for donations you get. Chance to play on them.

When you look at what they are requiring of him, #1 should be a given, don't get in trouble. #2 is already a condition of his work although this is a little more frequent. #3 is something most players and teams already do and could also earn him an award from the league for helping out. Was it OJs defence that was really good or the prosecution just really bad? Seemed like a pretty easy slam dunk case for the prosecution ......

But probably something more then half of the coaches out there don't do. Most coaches step in and want to run their prefered systems which involves dumping players and rebuilding teams for the first few years. No one seems to higher a guy that fits the team they have, or someone willing to coach to what they have available. Some of that is arrogance, some of it is that they want to stick with what they know best.

What about cocaine puddin'? Happens all the time, just like someone borrowing your jacket and leaving a crack pipe in it, or taking your car and leaving their large bag of weed in the backseat. Just ask any officer and they will tell you how common it is.....

IIRC, I don't think they are allowed to for anything more then a lateral move. So unless the Bills want to give him a bigger title they can't just deny the interview.

I believe they reviewed the balls and have found that they have been changed, but in baseball, it was changed for everyone, where as in the NFL, it was only the Patriots using the deflated balls. If all teams used the same deflated balls it wouldn't have been an issue.

Stealing signs isn't the issue, it's the use of cameras and technology to aid in the stealing and relaying of signs that's the issue. If during the game a player on the team figures out a signal or a tell (like a pitcher tipping pitches) from the other team, that's not against the rules. Having staff using cameras to steal signs then deciding them and relaying by phone, text or other electronics to the dugout, that's the issue. It's like the latest issue with the Pats. It wasn't an issue because they had someone at the game scouting trying to figure out signals from the other teams bench, it's that they were using cameras to videotape the other team so they could go back and review it later.

This is what I find the worst/dumbest thing about these situations, when you see teams or players cheat when they really don't have to. The Astros have a really good team that shouldn't need an added advantage, but they do it to get that extra advantage, and accept it as a cost of winning if they get caught after a championship. No one can take away the past, you can put all the asterisks next to their names or erase the history books, but the players, fans and organisations at that time all got to celebrate and be champions for that time.

Might be true, but nothing is coming out saying anyone forced him to fire anyone. The Astros have had a bunch of issues that look bad on the team in the last couple seasons and this just adds to it. Yup, I know, that's who I was talking about

That's one player from decades ago, who has had chances to be let back in if he would admit to it and apologize IIRC and he has refused to do so, then he also had an issue not to long ago come out regarding and underage girl IIRC. And he played for the Reds, also not one of the league's premier franchises.....

It was funny listening to 97 Rock this morning coming into work and they had on a guy from the Buffalo News who wrote an article about Neil. When they talked about where he was from they said Getty and Alex were from Toronto, but Neil was from another part of Rural Ontario. I wouldn't call Hamilton where he was born 'Rural', he was then raised only about 30-45 minutes from their studio in a small section of St Catharines named 'Port Dalhousie' (Subdivisions was apparently written about the area, and Lakeside park was written about the park there that's on Lake Ontario with the old carousel you can ride for a nickel). You would have thought the guy writing an article about something he knew (Neil and Rush) would have known this since it's not that far from them.....

To be fair, the Astros aren't really the MLB cash cow and premier team like the Pats. Now if this was the Yankees accused of this, I'm sure it would have been swept under the rug just like the Pats and the NFL. I'm not surprised they were fired for this, but we're they the ones fully responsible? Did the owner know what was going on and encouraged it or just turn a blind eye to it? Also weren't the Astros just in trouble recently for providing or forging false medical records for players in trades? They also recently fired one of their other front office guys this offseason after comments he made to female reporters in the locker room who were known to be against the team getting the former Jays closer who was suspended for beating his girlfriend/wife

Who cares if they overpaid for someone or will have to pay someone in the future. Know why they have to pay Mahommes sooner than later? Because he is helping to make that team one of the top teams in the entire league and was the reigning MVP from last year. It's what happens to the really good teams when they are good, they have to pay players really well because those players are really good and made them what they are. The Bills aren't built the way the Chiefs are, but they also aren't at the same level as the Chiefs. The Chiefs came into the season as one of the favorites from the AFC for the SB after being one of the top teams to n the AFC last season. The Bills struggled to get to 10-6 with an easy schedule and were beaten by a Texans team in the WC game after blowing a large half time lead. You don't think if/when the Bills reach the level the Chiefs are at now as one of the top teams from the AFC, they won't be reaching a point where they are making tough decisions under the cap? If you don't want to have to pay Allen $30-40 mil a year, you better hope he doesn't get any better....

I turned it off before the end and forgot that they came back at the end to squeak out the win...... I had the Packers to win big in that game and couldn't watch it anymore because the game was bad and they were losing to the Lions who had looked like they were already enjoying the offseason the weeks before that game......

That's only 2-1/2 weeks worth of offence from the Bills.......
