  1. Maybe throw in Mighty Taco presents Ralph Wilson Stadium at Geico Field
  2. "Its HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buffalo" Do you really think that the Superdome is the only facility that is only used by its NFL team for things? Even the Ralph holds a couple of other events during the year besides Bills games
  3. Actually, I think everyone in here is acting very American like. Theres two sides, arguing over which side is worse/better, resorting to name calling at times, and not willing to compermise with either sides 'facts" because their side is the true "correct side" just like how things are done in Washington! Seriously guys, your country is screwed..........
  4. nothing says NFL more then Lady Gaga, or Madonna
  5. I don't know about that, I believe there were posters made up by some that used the Obama "change" posters that added a Hittler stache to them. They may not have compared him to Hitler as much, but Communist, Muslim, Muslim Terrorist were used in its place more often i think
  6. Communist, Muslim, Muslim Terrorist........ But I have to disagree, MANY remarks were made that Bush is Hitler/A Nazi. They even used it in part of a South park episode (When they were in put into protests and given signs, I believe Cartman read his sign to the camera and it said Bush is a Nazi)
  7. Agreed, he did nothing wrong, he has every right to say what he wants to say, like ESPN has every right to remove him from their broadcast because of his comments, and everyone has the right to agree or disagree with his comments. But seriously, stop posting, cause you are really making a case for HWjr being a sharper tool in the shed then you. Right in his comment he said that ''You used the name of one of the most hated people in all of the world to describe, I think, the president.'' Williams replied, ''Well, that is true. But I'm telling you like it is.'' Right there, in black and white (or whatever color you may have your text set to), he admits that he compares the president to Hitler, unless, in your mind and his, Netanyahu is one of the most hated men in the world.
  8. Maybe he has taken the hint and thats why they are 0-4 right now? He is just showing up and going through the motions until they let him go so he can still collect his paycheck for this season from them?
  9. true, but they also went out and brought in McNabb because they weren't convinced that Ponder is the guy right now. They also probably figured they were closer to winning a SB then winning the Luck sweepstakes last draft
  10. This is what I have been asking the whole time, do people think that Dave was hired to just sit in the press box and show up to practices until the decide the need a new d co-ordinator? Everyone wants to place the blame on the current co-ordinator because they don't think the defence has improved or because its gotten worse, yet they want to promote the guy who was brought in to help improve this defence in the offseason???? Again I ask, What is Wandstadts current position with the Bills and what was he here to do
  11. My mistake, I was looking at just the AFC 17th, with 2 teams ahead of them playing in 1 less game My point is still that YPG isn't the only stat to determine a teams ranking.
  12. I just don't view Beane as really a good GM. He still doesn't have a WS winning club as a GM, and all he did was create something that once he made it public how it was done (writing the book "Money Ball") and other GMs caught on, it just made things worse for him. I would be impressed if he could still keep the team competitive while everyone else started doing it, then it might be movie worthy
  13. So its only YPG that determines a teams defence ranking? I guess Points allowed has no bearing (Bills are 11th giving up 24 pts/gm) and Takeaways (Bills are 1st in INTs, and I believe in the top 5 overall in takeaways)
  14. i have argued that for the last few years when everyone was blaming the losses on the defence, even when the offence struggled to score 10-20 points a game. The Bills defences in the past (and this year) may be giving up tons of yards, but they were also keeping teams out of the endzone enough that a competent offence should be able to score enough to win the game. Yesterday they held the Bengals to 23 points, and the defence gave the offence 7 points. The Bills "high powered" offence struggled to put 13 points on the board against them. The defence played well enough to win a game that the offence couldn't hold up their end. If you want to win in todays NFL, your offence needs to atleast be able to score 20 points in a game
  15. Just yesterday they had a spot on one of the pre-game shows talking about how QB's getting 400 yards a game is becoming the new "300 yard game" (something that used to be considered a huge feat, but now being looked at as just a good game) Look around the league, defences are giving up huge yards everywhere. Didn't Vick just have 400 yards yesterday in a loos to a good defence playing injured? Scoring and yardage is up this year, its not something isolated to just Buffalos bad defence. Teams are becoming more talented on offence, and instead of building defences to try and shut them down, they are just adding to the offence to try and win games by shoot outs
  16. if Alex Smith and the 49ers offence can come back and beat the Eagles, they are a beatable team with a struggling defence.
  17. The defence only needed the offence to put up more then 23 yesterday (thats 2 TD's less then the 37 you asked for), and the defence helped them out by spotting them 7 to get them going (should have been 14, but I digress). An offence thats was previously putting up 30+ points a game against atleast 2 good teams should be expected to score more then the 13 they scored yesterday
  18. Saying that Parks and Rec is better then The Office isn't saying much. The Office keeps getting worse and worse ever season now, and parks and Rec is horrible. I used to tune in because I work for a municipality so we all were a buzz for the show when it first came out. i just don't think Amy Poeller is all that great (same with Tina Fey, think that she is overrated) My only problem with Money Ball is that I don't get all the buzz around Billy Beane. The A's haven't been that great of a team in a weak division (AL West). Its an interesting theory and concept that he has created, but it doesn't work well when you let everyone else know about it and they can all do the same.
  19. Wheres the choice for "Neither, I get annoyed when i see adults dressing up without children for a childs holiday" Although i can say that I have no problems with hot girls dressing very skimpy in "non scary" outfits for Halloween compared to them dressing Scary. (skimpy nurse or Zombie? I will take skimpy nurse)
  20. More details would be needed. Do you already have a job lined up? If not, I wouldn't suggest it cause theres nothing here (like everywhere else). If you do, it would help because we would know what area you would be looking in. Toronto is where all the "action" is if your into a big city. The surrounding areas (and Toronto) are not cheap. Hamilton puts you in the centre of Toronto and the US border to Buffalo, but its Hamilton, its been refered to as "the pittsburgh of Canada" by jon Stewart. The Niagara area has alot of nice areas and the housing is much more affordable as you can find nice higher end places for fractions of what they cost in Toronto. Your within 30 minutes to the Peace bridge in most areas, and an hour and 15 minutes to Toronto in non rush hour traffic.
  21. Do you even know what Wanny's job is with the Bills? Do you think he just shows up to the stadium, sits in the press box and watches while getting paid? So what if he has won SB's as a defensive co-ordinator, does he have the same talent with the Bills as he did with those teams?
  22. His days are numbered, or he could get a huge raise if management really wants Luck, although they are going to be in for one tough fight against the Vikes! Does kind of make you wonder a little bit, 2 (surprisingly) winless teams are also 2 teams that on paper should have won atleast 1-2 games by now and both don't have a "franchise" QB? Hmmmmmmmmmmm
  23. But do you really think that Dave W is just sitting around doing nothing, having no input on the defence at this time? What is his role exactly with the team then? How does anyone know that this isn't his game plan that Edwards is using, or the 2 of them are colaborating together on the game plan?
  24. The refs made the right call by calling it a tuck. Theres no real dispute to that. The issue is that the rule should not be there because it doesn't make any sense. Apparently the QB is the only player that cannot lose the football by trying to protect it. As said before, if a running back is carrying the ball with one hand and loses it while trying to bring it into their body to protect it, its ruled a fumble, why do the QB's get preferential treatment? Once the ball stops going in a forward motion, and starts moving in a different direction (i.e. goes from forward to left/right) it should be eligable for a fumble. its still a fumble if the Qb is lifting the ball and bringing it back to throw the ball and its stripped....
  25. The Bills aren't playing a true 3-4 or 4-3, they are playing a Hybrid, with a 3-4 "base". They want to be able to switch between the 2 defences depending on the situation and to try and throw off the opposing offences. And why does everyone think that Edwards is at fault for all of this and Wandstadt would be an improvement? Do you think that the stache is just sitting there watching games collecting a paycheck and doing nothing? He is part of the coaching staff and has input on the defence too, only difference is that Edwards is the guy on the sidelines actually sending the calls into the defence
