So will Rex talk with his brother Rob this week....
apuszczalowski replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He can call or just watch the video of the game, its not like there was some secret that the jets used to beat Buffalo, Its all on video Unless Rex sends over some of his players to use along with the game plans, its not going to matter, the 'Girls don't have the talent on defence that the jets have -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
apuszczalowski replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless Rex gives Rob his players too, I'm not all that worried about it. Rob could just watch tape and get the game plans that Rex used, but he has to have the players and talen to pull it off, and the 'Girls just don't have that. If the Bills learned from this game and come out pissed, this could be the Redskins game all over again, at worst its gonna be a high scoring shoot out with a bunch of tunrovers -
Question about the George Wilson (non) INT
apuszczalowski replied to Rayzer32's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought I had heard they weren't allowed by the NFL to show the replys when they are being challenged, but I could be wrong. Also, what would that have done if they had shown the reply a bunch of times to the fans? Would the refs not have overturned it because the home fans don't think it should be? All thats going to do is make the fans even more pissed off at the refs..... But would it shck anyone to hear that the NFL wanted the refs to give a NY team the benefits of the doubt in all calls to get them back into the playoff hunt? NY and big market teams in the playoffs mean Big ratings and BIG money for the league........ I'm still wondering what the Giants receiver did in their game against the Pats after his TD to get an unsportsmanlike, while in the Bills game, Sanchez can go in front of McKelvin and mock him, and they can continue celebrating and "bump" Ryan on the sidelines without any kind of call for excessive celebrations -
i got that once I heard that the episode was about musicals, hard not to figure they would take shots at themselves and the industry after the success of "Book of Mormon" last night had some good moments, with Cartman and his stuffed animals

Miss Piggy, Got it!

I've placed a coffee cup full of gas into an already lit bonfire before. The gas actually statarted boiling in the cup and burned with some nice big flames. People were backing away thinking there might be a huge explosion from the gas, but gas won't explode unless it is under pressure, thats why its rare in a car fire to have the car actually explode like the moves. Gas/Fuel will just burn in a fire, if its compressed your in danger of an explosion.

Did the Madden Curse strike?
apuszczalowski replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he did show up to the party and no one noticed becuase he had such an amazing costume on? It was a Halloween party after all -
Only difference, Romos happened to cost the Cowboys a chance to advance in the playoffs, Rivers fumble was during a week 9 regular season game Romo is still one of the most overrated QB's in the league, the title was taken away from him in the last year or 2 by Mark Sanchez

Its fine, I respect your opinion on SD, its tough to call not because they are so good, but because the division isn't that great and 3 of the teams will be fighting to see who is best in one of the worst divisions. SD has a good team, but they don't always play like it. KC looked very BAD to start the year, and now is on a bit of a hot streak, question is, will it last? Oakland was looking like they would be a good team taking that division, but not its all reliant on Carson Palmer learning the offence and if he can get back to the player he was pre-injury and lead them. I don't know if anyone can really disagree that either of those 3 teams are ahead of each other right now but one of them will be a "playoff team" only because they have to have one of them win their division
-
This is a very important game for them if they want to be a playoff team this year. The Jets are good, beating them at home will give some breathing room for the Bills/Pats at the top of the AFC East and one of the Wild Card spots (I see the wild card spots going to one team in the AFC East, and one in the AFC North). Lose this game, the Jets are in a position to be in the race for the East or a WC spot, Win it and the Jets will need alot of help to get back into the race

I still think a backfield of Lynch and Freddie would be much better then a backfield of just Freddie. Lynch is still a good RB, thats not taking anything away from Freddie. Alot of teams hhave 2 good RBs in their offence, some were even going to 3 which is what I thought the bills were going to go to with Freddie, Lynch, and CJ.....
-
I'm thinking that the Wild Card teams will come from the East and the Central. The West and South will have only the divisional winners making the playoffs (right now theres the 3 way fight out west between Oakland, KC and SD, and the South will be a fight between Tenn and Houston) it will be a close fight between Buffalo and NE right now for the division I believe, although the Jets could turn things around and make it a 3 way race to the finish if Buffalo lets them get back into the race this weekend. And in the Central, it will be a 3-way race with Pitts, Baltimore, and Cinncy. If i had to pick now, I would say NE, Pitts, SD and Tenn win their divisions and the wild card goes to Buffalo and Cinncy

Kim Kardashian calls it Quits
apuszczalowski replied to Mr_Blizzard's topic in Off the Wall Archives
they also have probably the creepiest looking stepfather....... They are famous because they are a family with money, friends with other families with money, and kim made a sex tape that was "leaked" out to the public. Shes attractive and willing to be seen nude, so people will follow whatever she does and buy products that she endorses. There really isn't that much difference between athletes and "celebrities" like them. They are both overpaid, and what tehy do for a living really has no positive aspect to the world as a whole except for it being "entertainment" for the masses. Sure athletes have to "practice" and "work hard" to stay in the league, but the celebrities have to work hard at keeping themselves looking their best, and alot of them have to have most of their privacy given up so we can all watch and be entertained by their lives. Either way, its a sweet gig that most of us would trade our lives for to have that kind of life (money) -

Well atleast they kept their wedding simple and didn't so anything extravagant or cause a media circus over it -
First thing, I am in no way saying the Bills should try and bring him back, but..... It doesn't matter when Jones is back because it would be an improvment on offence over Ruvell Martin, Ruvell might be a great special teamer, but he is horrible on offence, and with the amount of injuries, having guys on the squad solely for special teams is more of a luxury

you may want to pay attention to them, they have alot of good players coming through the system no one wants to just give money to the rich to make them richer, but you can't expect the rich to just invest their money in your area without them getting some kind of a deal to do it. Just like the majority of all of us hard working Joes, most of us will always look for the best deals on something before we pay out our money for it. Why should it be different for people with more money? They didn't get rich by throwing their money around, most got it by investing wisely. Sports franchises and Stadiums/arena bring revenue into municipalities, so using tax paper money to help pay for these facilities is a bit of an investment on the part of local governments Are the Vikings asking for the entire thing to be funded by the city and state? I thought the most was about half As for your comparison with Buffalo, its not an investment for the City if the are putting in the same amount they are receiving all the time

I'm not saying no more tailgating, just no more personal/private tailgating. They will have more of an organised tailgate party section similar to the 'Party in the Plaza' at Sabres playoff games where the team, league, and beer sponsor will put on an event like they are doing in Toronto. They have already started this with changing the lot rules for parking. This does not get rid of tailgating, because you will still be able to go out and drink and eat and party before the game. Tailgating as we all know it now in Buffalo, Bring your own beer/alcohol and food, will be gone in stadium lots in the near future. I guess the difference then with the open alcohol laws in Buffalo then in Ontario is that North of the Border, they are actually strictly enforced all over

Start saying goodbye to the small and mid market teams and say hello to multiple NY/Boston/LA/Big Market teams As bad as it sounds to be helping oput these million/billionaires by helping pay for stadiums or upgrades to them, by not helping, what is their reasoning for keeping their product (the sports franchise) in that area? If you don't support your government helping fund some of the upgrades/stadiums, then you better not be mad when they end up leaving for places that will Sports franchises and stadiums bring in alot of revenue into these areas, they should be entitled to some assistance from the governments to make the places better and help generate more tax revenue.
-
The issue with Tailgating has nothing to do with Rogers, Ralph, the NFL, or Toronto vs Buffalo. It has to do with the fact that in Canada thereare laws against having open alcohol in public and regulations against being able to have or serve alcohol. Thats why they have to have special "Budweiser Tailgate Zones" and parties around the stadium, legal liscenced areas for drinking. They can't let everyone have their own parties in the lots with alcohol like in Buffalo, and pretty soon, it looks like the NFL is going to be making changes to make all stadiums have sponsored tailgate parties instead of letting everyone have their own in the lots because they can control the drunken rowdiness that have been causing more and more issues at stadiums. i wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now, you won't be permitted to have your own tailgate party in stadium lots anymore

history channel has without a doubt jumped the shark
apuszczalowski replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Those 2 shows I can understand seeing on the History channel, the items that come into the Pawn Shop and the "Junk" that they pick are usually older items with history to them The rest I don't understand how they tie in -
Maybin has 0.5 less sacks than our entire team
apuszczalowski replied to deep2evans's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course his snap count is going to get higher, their next game is against the Bills, and Ryan is the type of coach who is going to go out and try to rub this move in the Bills faces by putting Maybin out there to show that he is better then the Bills front office. The Jets have the luxury of using him only when they are in obvious passing situations, and they can just send him in for one purpose, to run right after the QB. Buffalo needed an actual LB that could do more then just rush the passer, and he could not do that. The guy couldn't even get on the field to play special teams. The difference between him and what they hoped merriman could get back to is that Merriman could play LB on more then just 3rd and long. He didn't have to come out on run plays or possible run plays. This is typical Bills fan mentality. When he is on the team, everyone wants to run him out of town for not being a pro bowler, once he makes a play for another team, its "why did the Bills let this guy go?". -
Melt down in Indy…
apuszczalowski replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Colts are basically a team built on a poor foundation. They are a luxury home built on a couple of cinder blocks for the foundation. In Polians career (spanning 20+ seasons), he has 1 SB championship and about 7 SB appearances. The guy built a really good Bills football team in Buffalo at a time when it was easier to build a team to be successful over multiple seasons, He last 4 seasons in Carolina where he built a team that appeared in a SB, and then came to Indy where he was lucky wnough to have one of the best QB's in the game fall into his lap and carry an average team to huge success. I would say that in his career, he has been a good GM, but Saint Polian isn't the football genius/god that everyone here seems to want to make him out to be, especially in the last few years in Indy -
Exactly The media and fans are making a big deal about no GM's showing up, but it was available to watch on TV so GMs could just stay back in their office and watch him and see if they would have interest in him. If it wasn't televised, then maybe you could say it is a big deal
