Do you honestly care about sports?
apuszczalowski replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills, Sabres, and Blue jays fan (no specific order. Could care less about watching teams or players in the NBA, Pro Golf, or any other sport, but I don't mind participating in some of them. I kind of enjoy Auto racing (although I don't believe its a sport) but I'm not a huge fan of watching an entire race (except maybe the Indy 500) because I would rather be in the car driving then watching them go around in circles for a few hours I try to attend a couple of games each year for those teams if I can. Thanks to the Bills hot start and now everyone thinking their tickets being sold on Ebay are valuable, I may not attend a Bills game this year though. One of the good things about the Bills bad play the last few years has been being able to buy multiple tickets being re-sold on Ebay for less then face value of one of the tickets, no everyone has their Buy It Now set above face value -
The Official "I Still BILLIEVE THREAD"
apuszczalowski replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kind of sad that the Bills (tied for 2nd in the division with 4 more divisonal games to play) fans are already giving up on this team after 2 bad losses, and the 2-7 Dolphins still believe they can make the playoffs after 2 wins against teams the Bills destroyed And if your offence struggles to score double digit points, and keeps going 3 and out everytime they get the ball, it puts way too much pressure on your defence. Too many people are putting all the blame on the defence and nothing on the offence. Yes its the defences job to stop the opponents offence from moving down the field and scoring, but its the offences job to score the points and keep the ball to dictate the game. Thats something the Bills have struggled with recently. The Bills could have still won the game Sunday with how their defence played if the offence was clicking like it had been earlier in the year. The game would have been an ugly shootout, but they still could have won. -
It sure helps the offence when the defence can keep them in the game while they struggle, but the offence can do the same for a defence too. Its much harder for a defence when every time they are on the field they are forced to have to hold the opponents from doing anything because their offence is just giving the ball back to the other team. If the Bills score on half the posetions they had in the first half of Sundays game, the game goes into the second half as a close game, and not a blow out and the defence has some pressure taken off of themselves from having to be perfect. When the offence can't do anything like the Bills offence has been the last 2 weeks, then it puts even more pressure on the defence to not only play perfect and not give up points, but its also putting alot of pressure on them to force turnovers and try to score points off those turnovers to make up for the inept offence. These last 2 weeks have been on the offence just as much as the defence, The defence can force as many turnovers or 3 and outs as they can, but if the offence just comes out and goes 3 and out every time, the still won't win the game

ESPN Reveals New Logos including Bils
apuszczalowski replied to BuffaloWest's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its a tottom pole and if you look closely, the top head has a 49ers helmet on it, and then all the way at the bottom, the last 3 heads are teh rest of the NFC west teams, symbolizing how the rest of the division is so far below the 49ers right now It represents the division more then the Seahawks though..... -
Fitz's Inaccuracy A Problem Going Forward?
apuszczalowski replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Problem with these rankings is that they take more into account the final scores (a team stat, not an individual players stat) and TD/Interceptions then anything else. I would be surprised if the guys doing the rankings watched more then the ESPN hgihlight shown of the game Sunday night. Fitz deserves a low grade this week, but theres no way I trade him for Sanchez or Moore -

Is Tebow turning the NFL upside down?
apuszczalowski replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they may be forced to if the quality of QB's coming out of college continues to drop and the best ones don't conform to the "NFL QB" standards. The league has to adapt and stop forcing players into certain moulds and adjust to its players -
Good news about our Dline...
apuszczalowski replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not going to happen after they gave Fitz the extension, he is the new "franchise QB" of the Bills right now, weither we like it or not -
Of course, its all George Edwards fault, another reason why he has to go. He is also the reason why the offence can't score the last 2 games, he convinced Shanahan not to suspend Lucic this week, he told Gary Bettman that Hulls foot wasn't in the crease, he's the guy who gave Easley the Heart copondition, he convinced the refs that "Homerun Throgh back" was a backwards lateral, and he caused Norwood to kick wide right! Poz, Maybin, Whitner, McKelvin, Troupe, Carrington, Spiller, Mike Williams, all draft busts because of Edwards being a horrible defensive co-ordinator!

A Few Thoughts About The Game
apuszczalowski replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How many times have you ever seen a RB going deep to catch a pass? -
Do you seriously think that the Cowboys didn't know that she was already dating a Bills player? It was talked about quickly when discussing the game on almost every pre-game show this week on all the networks.
-
Before I start, Labatt, none of this is directed at you.... Thats the funniest thing about all this, you talk to the "Fans" and none of them want to even think about the Bills playing home games in a dome (which is more liekly to be built then a new open air stadium due to it being possible for more uses throughout the year)Because snow and typical bad Buffalo weather is 'Buffalo Football weather" and our "home field advantage". But the majority of those fans will also turn around and refuse to want to get tickets to those games cause they don't like being out in the weather. As for the poster mentioning how bad things are economically in WNY and how they shouldn't be subsidizing the renovation of a stadium that they own, thats fine, but then you better not expect the team to stay there and just live with the conditions. Its not like the WNY economy (or any economy with a proffesional sports franchise located there) doesn't benefit from having a team. Its not like the area isn't getting anything in return for having a team. If the area will not show a commitment to a franchise and help fund improvements to the facilities, why should the owner show any commitment to the area?

Kyle Williams placed on IR
apuszczalowski replied to buffalo1983's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has been put on IR, he is done til next season. -
Far from it But I must have forgot, Ralph is Cheap and is the reason why fans stay away! Roger Goodell and the NFL would never let the Bills move out of Buffalo, they are passionate and may not sell out the stadium, but they will flood message boards to complain that its because the Owner is cheap and won't put a good product on the field, or its a holiday, or its too cold, or they are already in the playoffs, or out of the playoffs, or the economy is bad, or its a bad team they are playing against, or they moved a game to Toronto, or they are ruining the tailgating experience by not letting them park where they want or take up multiple spots, or the Uniforms suck, or They got a flat tire on the way to the stadium...........

Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, I think you should take your own advice and get your panties out of a wad and dump out your cereal that someone must have pissed in this morning. -
Yet they all would cry and complain if Buffalo built a dome for the Bills to play in because "It takes away the Home field advantage for teams having to come up and play in Buffalos conditions. PTR is correct in this, fans have hundreds of excuses they like to throw out for not attending games, all while saying just how great and supportive fans they are of this team. the post he made about how many tickets you buy is not him trying to be hollier then though, he was making a point that he can make it in for a few games a year traveling a long distance, and some posters here living in the area complaining that have a chance to support this team more are doing less Like the NFL slogan said, "You want the NFL, Go to the NFL". A pro Football team in your area is a privelege, not a right. If you don't buy tickets and go to games, the team will go somewhere that will buy tickets and go to games. or you can keep living in the fantasy world that some white knight will come riding into Buffalo and keep the team in Orchard Park forever bring year after year of championship teams to Buffalo

Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So are you now saying Ralph isn't cheap and will make sure he is there to give Stevie a hefty raise???? (Read what i wrote again) -
A location the NFL has come out and said is their goal for putting a team in A location where they have already secured a lucrative naming rights deal for a stadium that hasn't even started being built yet A location where groups are already working on building a stadium that may rival Jones stadium in Dallas and they don't even have a tenant yet A Location in one of the largest Markets in the US Yup, theres no way a small market team could ever be relocated there when they can't sell out games when they are TIED (happy?) for 1st overall in their division (only because they haven't played as many divisional games at this point) in a season where even the fans complaining in this post had predicted they would be picking in the top spot the last 3 seasons

Lindell busted up; Rayner signed
apuszczalowski replied to Phil Hansen Forever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lindell should immediatly be put on IR, but Merriman and willams sposts should be held because maybe at some point this season, those guys could come back at 70% +/-
