Welcome to the Retard Rodeo, AKA Two Bills Drive Where opinions can change at the drop of a hat, and where the armchair QB/coach/GM's come together to complain about how they would have made the right moves if in that situation

Everyone keeps saying he is only dedicated to turning a profit, but if that was true, then the team would have been relocated years ago to a place where they could more then double what they bring in now and wouldn't have to have the lowest ticket prices in the league. Maybe the dedication is to making sure that the team stays out of the red so it can stay in Buffalo? maybe the dedication is to keeping the team here for as long as he can control it? Sure you can throw out the arguement about how then he should sell the team to a local investor now so they stay here, but its not like the area is filled with billionaires looking for NFL franchises to invest into. Who knows the details of Jimbos "investors", and maybe Ralph knows who they are and knows they don't have the resources to make a serious deal?

Does his talent also include dropping catchable balls at critical times in games? McKelvin fumbles one kick return and he gets his house vandilized. Stevie drops passes that could win games and people are pushing others out of the way to be the first to carry his jock and console him. Guess that it all depends where the team drafts you............

Metal Detector Screening to Begin this Weekend
apuszczalowski replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think I saw you walking accross the parking lot yesterday after teh game, unless there were other guys in kilts? Gate 1 had pat downs, no wait in the womens line, long waits for the mens lines. Saw a few gates with the wands, maybe they were using those for the more well known "trouble sections"? -
I don't normally agree with you and your ever present "Ralph is chea/evil complaints", but there are some good points here The Redskins having an owner willing to spend whatever necessary helps make building a winning team quicker possible, but it hasn't worked for them yet. He brought in a football person in Shanahan whos had control of personel and yet they still look lost and are usually depleated of picks. There rebuilds might be quick, but they won't last long if its done only through FA (Eagles also have shown you can spend all you want but it doesn't always buy you a winner) Miami is currently playing better then the Bills now, but the Qb position is still questionable for them, and they have a HC thats already been pushed into the doorway with about one foot out the door. The Jags have no QB and a bunch of holes, and theres no proof the new owner is gonna have the money to dump into the team to turn them around unless attendance starts changing. The Broncos also look good now, but no one believes that Tebow and the winning can last, even though every week, all he has been doing is winning The Lions are in a free fall just like the Bills right now, even though they are still being looked at as a good team. They started out competing with the Packers and a probable lock for the playoffs, but with a couple more losses, they will continue with Buffalo "waiting til next year". Its not a sure thing that Stafford is a guy that will take them to the playoffs as a #1 Qb, he tends to get banged up alot and be injured

If Bills go 5-11, does Buddy get fired?

Less then 2 seasons and we are already talking complete overhaul AGAIN? Good thing the Bills front office isn't as Knee-Jerk as the fans. You can't keep changing the front office everytime the Bills have a losing season. Donahoe was given almost a decade to run the team into the ground, They are here for a few more years -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
apuszczalowski replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Neither is Stevie Johnson, but everyone wants him to be paid as a #1 WR Basically, what almost any team will do when leading a game with less then 2 minutes left and an offence with no timeouts. Keep the plays to the middle of the field, let them get short yardage, but keep big plays from happening and from getting to the endzone Does this mean that he was a great coach last year, because he basically did the exact opposite thing, starting out winless and going on a hot streak to end the season -

Don't let the door hit you on the way out! You won't be missed................ -
Wow, must have had a different view on tv or from somewehere cause at the game yesterday, I actually thought he played pretty well considering how much people hate him around here. Funny, he doesn't run a punt back for a TD and we want him run out of here, yet Stevie drops balls that were placed in his hands and we still talk about how he should be paid as a #1 WR

Metal Detector Screening to Begin this Weekend

Didn't you know that a football game is no place to take your family? Its supposed to be a place where you can get wasted out of your mind, get into fights and take out aggression on otehrs because your team sucks. Then, the next day at work you can go in with your nose held high because your team won, or be embarrassed because your team lost I don't know if theres enough actual metal in a beer can to set off a metal detector. I don't think a magnet even sticks to a can that well -
Tim Tebow 4th in Pro Bowl voting:

And a 4-1 record as a starter, Not Bad Or do we not count wins and losses for him because it would make him look better? -
Yeah, but for what your house probably is worth in California, you could own half of Buffalo and be a quick drive from the Canadian Ballet

Bils' Fans Due Some Tribute

Actually, the only people who do believe small market teams can survive are the fans living in small markets. Outside of Green Bay, what small market teams are thriving financially right now and succeeding? -
We need to see the photos

Love when you look at all the photos on the google link there are some of Jack Del Rio and the comedian who died yesterday. If they write one more article about her on the internet she may just reach the same level of celebrity that Janet had before she married Wayne -
Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night
apuszczalowski replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No he isn't If you watch other teams besides the Bills, or just watch other WR's on the teams that the Bills are playing, SJ is barely even a #1 WR. Watching the Saints Giants game all I kept saying is that I hope the bills have SJ watching this game to show him what a real #1 WR is supposed to be like. The guy drops balls that hit him right in the hands and then blames everyone else for why they were dropped (God, he doesn't have "superhuman" senses, etc.) The difference between a top 10 WR (or a #1 WR) and SJ is that those WR's will not only make those catches, but they will also make catches when the Ball isn't thrown directly to them and they have to make a play to catch it. Thats how and why you make Highlight reels and become a top 10 WR. -
Sione Pouha: Bringing Idiocy to a New Level

Maybe in the Military, but not when your Gangsta' going to the clubs....... Wouldn't his crash be more offensive to the people on the third plane that went down in the field since he didn't crash into anything? If he "flew" into one of the linemen and both fell over i could understand it being him mocking the twin towers..... -
Are we now the worst team of the last 15 years?
apuszczalowski replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its funny how 1 decent season recently and all of the sudden the 49ers are this great team, same with the Lions who have been in a close tailspin as the Bills after their start to the season. Their playoff chances are not looking good, especially with GB running away with their division and having to rely on a WC spot to have a chance. A Giants win tomorrow and their playoff chances dwindle more -
Texans Matt Leinhart out for year
apuszczalowski replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And lets not leave out the fact that they are playing in a weak division, and before Schaub was injured, they built up a nice lead in the division. That team got to were they are because they have a good defence and a very strong offence. They were scoring alot of points with Schaub. Don't count out Tenessee though, they can get right back into it and still have a shot. But it helps having the 0-11 Colts and 3-8 Jags in the same division this year to make the playoffs But with both QB's going down in the last few games, it makes you wonder what Houston did to piss off the football gods? -
And so can the wins and the playoffs.............. The Bills have a competent o-line that when healthy is good enough to win games. The D-line is not horrible either, again, when Healthy. The problem is they have no play makers that can make plays and put points on the board. You either have to have a DOMINANT defence that can keep teams to under 10-20 points a game score points on turnovers, or an offence that can put up points to win in this league.

How things have changed in a month

Not that I agree with what you are saying, but I did just buy a Kelly and Thomas throwback jerseys because I was tired of getting ones with current players that don't stay (Bledsoe, Whitner, and Lynch) I took off my Kelly jersey last game my first time wearing it by the second quarter because of the way the games was going -
Impossible, the fan base has already proven that he cannot play in the NFL and is a bust, like many people have about Tebow too. Some think he probably should have been cut as soon as they called his name at #9 on draft day And obviously if he does well you cut Freddy the next day, you can't have more then one good RB on your roster
-
My point is just that for a backup, what you want is a guy that can and has played the position. Weither he is a guard first or a C first, that shouldn't matter, as long as he can and has played C before. The problem know is that teh Bills don't have anyone with more then a game or 2 experience playing C currently on the active roster
