But I thought everyone said that Florence was "stride for stride" with the WR? If Fitz threw the Ball, it would have been overthrown to both of them then

So are the bills now the SuperBowl Favorites and in the playoffs? Seriously, a team that was destroyed by the Bills and a few other teams this year turns into a team that holds the Green Bay offence to under 20 points just because of Orton and making a coaching change to Crennell? I don't buy it. Either the Pack threw the game to try adn get the pressure off of being "perfect" and so they can focus on the playoffs, or the league is being run by Vegas and the bookies

He was actually a 6th rounder, drafted at #199 There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to moving up or down. The draft is more about luck (not Andrew) and finding the best players available. How many people now would give up their entire years picks in the draft to draft Manning or Brady after seeing wwhat they would do in the NFL? Having as many picks possible in a draft means nothing if you pick the wrong players. The most that having a bunch of picks does is it increases the chances of you finding atleast one good player. The draft is about Quality, not Quantity.

Please sell the team Ralph

And you know this how? Because his football team is losing? -
I bet thats why he keeps the team, just for his own amusement, to laugh at the miserable Bills fans that he seals money from every game! What an evil genius he is!

Stevie Johnson: After the INT
apuszczalowski replied to mountainwampus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your sooooooo right, just look at what happens when Fitz gets him the ball right to Stevies hands, he catches it 3 out of 4 times! People need to wake up and watch games other then the Bills games, or pay attention to the WR's on the other teams we play. True #1 WR's make plays and catch even badly thrown balls. No QB in the league throws perfect passes all the time. The key to almost all good QB's is that they have WR's that can make plays out of passes that aren't perfect. Thats not to say that Fitz is not the problem, he has been horrible on alot of throws, but it doesn't help when he has WR's that drop balls that hit them in the hands, or guys that can't make a play on the ball unless its right to them. -
Of course they are, all of the owners in the NFL care only about 1 thing, and one thing only, Winning football games. making a profit is an afterthought/secondary thing Only Ralph Wilson cares about being fiscally responsible and about money first Of course there was. RALPH WILSON IS A HORRIBLE PERSON THAT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT FOOTBAL/WINNING AND IS JUST TRYING TO GET EVEN RICHER OFF OF THE POOR BUFFALO BILLS FANS. (and I am assuming the point was also that we will all be much happier when he is dead and the many Local Billionaires will all step forward and buy the team which they will throw their money around to buy championship after championship!)

Sanchez and Flacco have 1 more year
apuszczalowski replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe Sanchez and Romo are the 2 most overrated QB's in the league. Sanchez is not a franchise QB, and the Jets win in spite of him. Flacco is a good QB, and his Ravens team is built to win by their defence, not the offence. The Ravens team is older, and was built to win now a few years ago, they need to start replacing some of the vets on that team before they get too far and collapse. They are still a good playoff team -
WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE ONE OR THE OTHER????????????????? WHY CAN'T THEY JUST DO LIKE ALMOST EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE LEAGUE AND RUN WITH 2 GOOD RB'S?????????????????????? That was the whole point that they tried to do when they took McGahee, they planned to go heavy running game with a tandem of Henry and McGahee. Fans, who are always crying about how the Bills need to be run first, kicked and screamed about wasting a pick, and Henry wanted out. Then you have McGahee and Lynch and everyone runs mcGahee out of town for not being a Buffalo homer. Then with Lynch and Freddy, the fans run lynch out of town cause he is a "thug" and will surely be suspended for the season real soon. Now with Spiller and Jackson, its "lets run Jackson out of town cause the Bills surely won't pay him what he wants and we can use the Draft pick" (Same thing said about Evans this offseason, now that its happened it wasn't good enough and the front office is inept for getting rid of him and not seeing the future need for WR's on this roster)

Enough about the state of the bills
apuszczalowski replied to GOBILLS!!!!!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It could also depend on who was there first. The Lakers were in LA way before the Clippers and already had a fan base. Same could be said for the Yankees/Mets too, Rangers/Islanders, etc. Usually the Afterthought is the team thats came to the area second..... -
Only one of those players was a cut, Lynch was traded to Seattle and Evans was traded to Baltimore. 2 of those 3 players (Lynch and Maybin), the majority of Bills fans were ready to drive to the airport to get rid of (Lynch for being a thug, one step away from a season suspension and had quit, the other was a guy that people hated since he was drafted and was believed to have absolutly no buisness playing in the NFL due to him being so undersized). As for Evans, I would say the fan base was split 50/50 on him, he was no longer productive as a #1 WR, but believed to be a superior "Decoy" to allow everyone else to get open

What Happens If They Can't Resign Steve Johnson?
apuszczalowski replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't know, But I believe the majority of the fans supported those players being shipped out London Fletcher - Too old, stats are bloated, all his tackles are made downfield...... Marshawn - Quit on the team, is one strike away from being suspended for the season, an idiot thug...... Maybin - Sucks, is horrible, can't play, undersized, bigest draft bust in team history, etc, etc, etc.......... Leonard - Was a backup, not as good as the current starters............ -
Has he ever said he wasn't interested in a vacant coaching position since leaving Baltimore??? I think he was even talking about wanting the Bills job when they gave it to Chan

Longest playoff drought in NFL - 11 years
apuszczalowski replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm shocked there hasn't been more backlash on an owner like Loria of the Marlins. For years he would build these teams on a minimal budget, get lucky by drafting well and win, then dismantle the franchise until could rebuild again, all with budgets of almost what Pujols is getting in one season, and collecting Revenue sharing from the rest of the league. Now they can afford to build a nice new stadium, and he is throwing around almost as much money as the Yanks, Sox, and Cubs? Talk about cheating the system........ -

You really believe that the majority of NFL owners don't care more about turning a profit????????? they might all say publically that winning is #1, but alot of buisness owners will tell you things you want to hear Except for maybe Dan Snyder, I don't think that he would accept consistently losing money on the team if it meant that his team would win. -

hows that winning thing going recently for Jerry, and even Snyder in Washington? Do you think that either would have the same success if they didn't own teams in some of the biggest markets? Green Bay might be one of the only exceptions out there right now, but they have a long, rich history of success dating back to the begining of the NFL, and have had the luxury of having a solid, HOF QB in Brett Favre for a long time, then were lucky enough to have the torch passed to a guy who looks like he just might top Favre with his play -

American Chopper Biker Build Off
apuszczalowski replied to RayFinkle's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Had a chance to watch this on the weekend. Seriously, WTF was Senior thinking when he built whatever that was??????? Juniors was a cool looking bike and typical of the OCC?Paul Junior type builds, more art then Bike Jesse just built another cool looking functional Bike, i knew it wouldn't win because it didn't have the flash of Jr's bike I think the show was too much about Discovery trying to push for ratings by forcing fights and arguements. How many times was the host going to bring up that Jesse called Paul Junior and OCC "Not real Bike Builders", and that they were going to have the Teutels sit down and talk. Plus all the clips of Jesse Trash talking, then trying to get Jr to trash talk back? I respect jr for not going that route and just saying I will let everyone else decide if he is right Although I do agree with Jesse and most of his trash talking, OCC builds Art pieces, not real functioning bikes that you can ride. The bikes look great and are nice show pieces, but you can't go out and ride them very long. I don't think Jr's bike could even be considered street legal with the exhaust basically being pumped out into your face while you ride. Jesse and WCC build bikes you can take out and ride, and he has proven it by taking his bikes on long trips. I have to say that Bike wise, Jesse's was the best Visually/Art wise, Juniors was the best and WTF was he thinking wise, Seniors has me scratching my head as to how he plans to keep that company afloat...... -

Cowhers teams atleast always seemed to be Good teams with the odd great team or bad team, but he always seemed to have a tough team to play against. I have said the same things about Saint Polian too. Look at how long his career has spanned? He has 1 Super Bowl Victory in his career as GM, and that was during the last decade with a team that ahs arguably one fo the greatest QBs ever to play the game playing. -

My mistake, I forgot about how much of a thriving Metropolis Buffalo is and all the corporate Headquarters and industry that is located in WNY. Do you seriously believe that the Buffalo area has as much, if not more corporate support then any other NFL franchise? Celino & Barnes, Saleens Hot Dogs and Rich products are as lucrative sponsors as Ford, FedEx, Reliant Energy, Lincoln Financial, or Gillette? -
Gailey has come out on multiple occasions and told him to go out and spend more to get someone, but Buddy has told him thats not how he is building a team. He doesn't like big name FA's because they rarely live up to the expectations and contracts after they sign. And its true, how many FA's each year go out and live up to the hype/expectations of their new salary? The only way Buddy or Chan are out in Buffalo before ATLEAST next offseason, is if they decide to step down because they don't want the job. Buddy could step down this offseason or next and decide he is too old and wants to retire and give way to Whaley whom he is supposed to be grooming and working with to take over. As for Gailey, he could step down, but its more likely he makes a few changes to the coaching staff this offseason first by getting rid of Edwards due to pressure. But thats about it. Its also most likely they go to the 'Stache as DC before they bring in someone outside the organisation, unless he does not want the job and would prefer to stay with what he currently has. Then maybe someone like Nolan would be brought in to try and fix the defence and run the 3-4. They aren't going to blow everything up again because they aren't a playoff team after 2 years of a full on top to bottom rebuild.
