  1. So is Albert Haynesworth, Just Saying
  2. How have the Bills been doing what? Using any leftover money they have not spent under their own SELF IMPOSED BUDGET (i.e. Cash to Cap) and putting that money towards the next years SELF IMPOSED BUDGET? Again, what I have talked about has nothing to do with the leagues Hard Salary Cap. I guess you have missed the multiple spots where I said that with the Bills, it had nothing to do with the NFLs Salary Cap, it has to do with their Cash to Cap Budget Exactly, and the Cash to Cap system is widely used around the league, and its about how you spend your money, not how much you spend. I do disagree with your SJ part, He was coming off of one good season, after coming into the league as a 7th rounder and having trouble making the roster in previous seasons. You may have been able to sign him for a decent price over a few years, but do you really believe that after this season, or if he puts up numbers again next season that he wouldn't be looking to redo his deal like Jackson is now, and Peters wanted to do a few years ago? In the NFL today, players will never be happy with their current deals if the level of their play increases
  3. Sounds like its one of those things that teams can do if they want to (cause it says they have to apply to the league to do it) but either isn't known to the public much, or is not widely used around the league. What i was refering to in my previous posts though has to do with the "Cash to the Cap" budget the Bills have, they said they can roll over unused budget from one year to another in their spending
  4. It was around the time that they had the end of the season press conference. They said that they can roll over any money left in their "Cash to the Cap" budget from the season before and add it to their budget for the next year. Its nothing to do with the NFL and other teams, its their internal budget and accounting figures with "Cash to the Cap" I has nothing to do with the NFLs salary cap (and I never said it did), Its any money not spent in the year under their "Cash to the Cap" I have never heard of the NFL allowing teams to exceed the NFLs Salary Cap in a year because they were below it the season before.
  5. So therefore it is probably lies and propaganda. We all know that hearsay and opinions posted on message boards are the only truth!
  6. The Bills have said before that the can and will roll over and money from year to year that they don't spend under their "cash to the Cap system. So, say the Cap is set at $120 million for the season, thats their cap in total spending (not in cap spending), If they don't spend in real money to the cap one year, they will carry that over into the next years budget and allow them to spend a little more real money the next year
  7. I think the point to his post was how they are considered trash to everyone when they are here, then they go out sign with other teams and have success like Fewell and Gilbride for example.
  8. Isn't that the start of WWIII anyway?
  9. You brought up the fact that you could list more productive players chosen after him in the draft, I simply called you on it and said to list only the ones that play NT, so that you can prove that he was a bad pick because there were better options the Bills passed on for NT As for the insults, I just find it kind of ironic that the guy out there telling people to stop insulting other posters would be throwing out insults to other posters. Do as I say, not as I do? So you found one article, from this season where he says he had a problem with a disc that goes back to college. Anything from around the time of the draft where it says he had back issues? You would think that there would be some mention of it somewhere around the draft that this guy had issues. I have looked and seen nothing, not even mention of this chronic issues in any of the draft projections of him that discuss back issues. Even the projection you provided doesn't say anything about it. No mentions of missing time due to back injuries in college.
  10. I apologise, I didn't understand that "Goderators" can determine what insults were appropriate to throw around here and which ones weren't. I thought I knew better. I didn't twist any of your words Wow, you provided a list of 1 player, thanks. I wasn't trying to get your panties in a bunch. You said you could provide a list of players that produced more after him. I asked you to provide the list but shorten it to just NT's, the same position as the player the Bills chose at that position....
  11. And I am asking you to simplify the list and only include NT's, because the bills were obviously looking for one. Its not hard to make a list of players in a draft at any position that may have had more of an impact or produced more then the player picked. But since the Bills were looking at NT with that pick, I simply asked for you to provide us with the list you said you would, but to only include the NT's. If the talent on the team was so poor, why is it assinine to switch to the 3-4? If the talent wasn't good enough to run what they were currently running, I would think it would be the best time to switch to something new. Its not like the talent was great and they decide to scrap it and replace the current talented players. As for the bolded part, what are you getting at? Is this the accepted way to insult fellow posters on this board? I just want to make sure so I don't get warned by the moderators around here
  12. Did anyone hear if the team stood up for him and went after leopold for the hit? Did Gaustad just tell everyone that he didn't see it happen?
  13. Sure, give us a list of the better NT's that were picked after Troupe that have been more productive.
  14. I would agree but only because he hasn't been healthy enough to get on the field and show what he can do. If he is going to be considered a bust, it isn't because he has shown he doesn't have the talent to play, its because he hasn't had the ability to show that he can or can't play I don't fault them for making the pick, NT was a big need for a team looking to become a 3-4 team. Gronk actually had real injury concerns (unlike the ones nobodies been able to prove that Troupe had in college) and I'm sure many teams were leary about picking him up. It even appears that the pats didn't have much faith in him and it was more of a luxury pick for them because they drafted Hernandez at the same time. Fans have been all over the Bills FO for taking the "luxury pick" of McGahee after his injury in College, yet they wanted the bills to take a similar chance drafting Gronk just because he is a local kid?
  15. From what it sounds like, Chandler is going to be looking for a big payday this offseason, and Buffalo isn't looking to break the bank for him. The Bills sound like they do want him back, but know he wants alot more then they are willing to spend on him
  16. And what is so wrong with that? How is it a reach when the guy is saying he may be grading or viewed at a certain spot, but don't be surprised to see him go sooner cause he may be viewed highly by some teams? Then whats the point in even having a draft if players are supposed to be picked in certain spots because thats the way some writer/blogger has them positioned? All that comment is really saying is to not be surprised if he goes earlier then expected because they believe he has the ability to be better then what most writers/bloggers have him listed as.
  17. Of course not because it doesn't fall into the "Ralph is Cheap, Bills suck and won't keep good players" mentality around here
  18. Does anyone have anything that talks about or even mentions Troupe having back problems in college? Everything I have found makes no mentions of a history with injuries in college
  19. Thats the difference between being a QB and a linemen I guess. Supermodels aren't usually the type to flock to 300+lb guys with anger issues whos names don't usually come up outside of ESPN or other guys talking about details in football
  20. Over Madonna and a bunch of "guest appearances"? hell yes
  21. Thats the way the industry works today. You need to fit the "image" first, the "talent" can be fixed later. Lady Gaga apparently has a backround/training in classical piano I believe, yet she couldn't hit it big until she started appearing 3/4 naked in weird and crazy outfits. Katy Perry was a gospal/christian music singer who couldn't get a deal to become famous until she "slutted up" and sang about "kissing a girl and liking it" Theres plenty more examples of this and its not just woman in todays music. You could go back to KISS who were a flop when they moved away from their "stage show" and took the makeup off to perform. I don't think anyone would say that they would go see kiss perform their music without the makeup and stage show.
  22. Good job, Wife throws husbands co-workers under the bus to make up for husbands poor performance. That should go over well, I'm sure Tommy won't be having any get togethers at home with his WRs like Fitzy had this offseason
  23. I heard too that because its not "biological" and shes of age, it wouldn't be illegal
  24. I'm gonna give you a little tip to help you along as a member on this board, most of those comments/posts about williams are started by a poster who eats crayonz, he is not a serious poster and comments like that are part of his persona
  25. Except he wasn't the TE's coach in Indy, his last job in Indy was O-line coach, and he started there as the Offensive Quality Control Coach (same as what VanPelt did here to get his start) but I thought Ralph was against hiring former players as coaches here, thats what members of the board/Ralph is cheap group have said..........
