I'm usually the same way, I watch it while doing work on my computer, usually do about 2-3 episodes per night, then switch to something else shorter and lighter. -

Harriet and M have a new egg---Update 4/1 : New eaglet

Last year I was driving to a house being built right on the shore of Lake Ontario and there was a small group of trees along the road before the house. As I started driving up the road I noticed something big in the tree and when I got closer I found out it was a bald Eagle nest with them inside. I talked with the builder and owner of the house and the said they see them occasionally leave the nest and swoop down towards the lake to try and grab fish. It was pretty cool to see them every time I had to go there. I don't know if they are back this year. -
The poor employees who have to go and clean the bathrooms on the night shifts....

I think many have summed it up here Hagar was the better lead singer of the 2 But Roth was the better Frontman And the music from the 2 of them was different. With Hagar the 'quality' of the songs was better, but the music was more 'fun' with Roth. He seemed like more of the natural 'crazy' rock band frontman

If the co worker who broke it isn't buying me a new one, I would probably spend the $30 to try and fix it myself (plus possible additional cost for specialty tools to open it) and see how that goes while also being prepared that I will probably end up needing a new one if that won't work, gambling on the $30 that maybe it isn't as hard as I think to fix. But seeing that the part itself is only $30 and places want $200+ to repair it, I would think either it's not easy to do, or will take some time to do it. I recently just fixed my washing machine, taking it completely apart to install new bearings. Bought a OEM parts kit from Maytag on Amazon for a little over $100, plus a special bearing install tool for $50. I had watched some YouTube repair videos and it took about 4+ hours to do start to finish taking my time. Cost to have repaired by a pro would have been closer to a cost to buy a new one.

A cross border train? Do you know how long the Niagara region has been fighting to get a regular train down to the area from Toronto? A few years ago they started in just the summer and recently started a regular one year round. It might take a while to get one that will take you to Buffalo from Niagara..... But once the can move Buffalo up to closer to average, they switch their focus to the next lowest revenue team to force them to do more, and then the next, etc. Businesses are always trying to increase their revenue and make more, they don't like doing things for nothing, and if things aren't making money, they cut them out. They won't be happy just letting Buffalo be the lowest revenue team because their fans like it and can't afford more without cutting into their tailgating money. If there's an area that can make more, they will tell the Bills to start making more or they will be out.

The city of St Catharines is thinking about naming the newer pavilion built at Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie after him. There are also planning a possible memorial concert and other events in honor of him.

You seem to know alot about this, someone should notify the police that maybe it wasn't his father that pulled the trigger, but instead a disgruntled Mets fan?....

Could This Guy be a TE on Beane's Radar ?
apuszczalowski replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, I think that the Bills interest in Olsen is more about him being a veteran that they are familiar with wanting to bring him in for a vet leader rather then them believing they need to upgrade the TE position. I don't see it as a position they desperately need to upgrade in their mind. -

I think they have said it will go one more season, or season 4 will be a 2 part season. This definitely isn't the last one though. -

They raise Girl Scouts smart in metro Chicago
apuszczalowski replied to JoeF's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It's either this or hockey games A girl had a sign at a Ducks game asking for a warm up puck for a box of cookies. Ryan Miller went over and made the deal, pissing off his wife because he didn't bring them home to share, he left them in a freezer at the rink for his pre game snack... -
They know the market, it's one that financially is not one that can support the current NFL. If Buffalo didn't have the Bills, would anyone seriously believe the NFL would be interested in granting them an expansion team? If the market cannot support paying average NFL ticket prices, and there's no corporations willing to pay market value prices for boxes/suites, then the area can't support the NFL. It's why they tried to expand the market to play games in Toronto, if Buffalo could get support from Toronto, it could bring in some of the money from there to help out Well, if they really need and want both, building both together is going to be alot more affordable then doing them separate and would keep the total cost down on the project. It's easier for everyone to digest spending a $billion if they get a convention centre and stadium, instead of saying $800 million for a stadium and $500 million for a convention centre (and I am just using those numbers as examples, they will most likely be different)

Medical experts reject Browns/Bengals fandom for med MJ
apuszczalowski replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they missed the part where they explained it was rejected because they felt medicinal marijuana just wasn't strong enough to help Browns and Bengals fan..... -
AT&T in Dallas and Met Life in NY don't have to be multi use because they are in some of the largest cities in the country and can afford to build stadiums that can be used less. The reason people bring it up for places like Buffalo is because that what makes it a little more feasible and economical for the area and taxpayer money to have something that can be used for more then football. The convention centre is brought up for the facility to double as a convention centre also during the rest of the year, then Buffalo doesn't have to worry about picking and choosing one or the other to pay for.

The reason for the Patriots success (other then cheating) has been having one of the greatest HCs in the game to go with possibly the greatest QB to play the game who was willing to play on cheaper deals to keep the cap hits down. They also were able to get big name FAs to sign cheaper there because they gave them the best chance at a SB win. It really helps when your able to get some of the best players come to you on affordable deals instead of having to grossly overpay mediocre guys to play for you. Also let's not go too overboard with the Bills way of doing things yet, so far it's gotten them a 'one and done' playoff appearance in a weak year......

I never said you made anything up. It doesn't matter of the stadium is in OP or Downtown, the funding will still be from the same sources. The poor people downtown will still be paying the same whether its built next to the arena or next to New Era (or New Era is renovated). You keep bringing up how poor Buffalo is, and I'm not disputing any of that, but of it's as poor as you say and they can't afford a new or highly renovated stadium, then unfortunately they can afford the luxury of being the home of an NFL franchise. You know what could help out the poor people in Buffalo? The possible property value increase they could see of having a new stadium and downtown redevelopment that could come from it.
