They have bottomed out, they have also found ways to keep getting deeper And any coach or GM that ever decides that the best way to succeed is to tank deserves to be fired on the spot cause they really are not capable of doing their job. The best guys can find quality players and talent all over the draft. They also dont need certain or specific players to succeed. They can work with what the talent they have and build around it.

This atrocity should be expected

It's because its theory ly excuse they can come up with to justify the mess. "Well they were always going to suck cause they have so much dead cap space" Well they created this mess, and they should not get the benefit of the doubt because of it. These guys dont have track records at their positions that you can look back on and say "well the last time they did this it worked out well". Everything so far is just believing with blind faith that these guys know what they are doing and their process will all work out. Pro sports all about winning, if your not winning then your gonna get replaced -
I was very wrong about Tyrod & have to own it.

It's not the constant firing that's a problem. Its constantly bringing in poor coaching choices. It doesnt matter how long you give them if they arent rhe right coach. How many former head coaches from the Bill's are having success as headcoaches after leaving here? Jauron, Chan and Rex arent in football. Some have had some success going back to being co coordinators. The best ones are Marrone and Lynn. These guys keep taking steps backwards and have yet to really take any steps forward. They keep telli g us to trust them and their "process" but its yet to really show any improvement to the roster and now we have to hope they can use the cap space next year to attract Free Agents which so far they havent shown they are a great judge on. -

And those are all their choices that they need to be held accountable for. They decided to cut or trade the talented players currently on the roster. They decided they valued picks and take on dead cap more then the current talent They decided they wanted to draft the QB that would take the longest to be ready to play, if he ever reached the ceiling some felt he may have the potential to reach. To help this QB succeed they hired a WR as a QB coach, and bring in a OC who hasnt had any real success at the NFL level. They also decided that it was better to have the other QB choices to have a total of 1/2 a seasons worth of career starts between them. Then after trading away the one guy who did crap the bed in his previous start and break a record for one of the worst starts in league history, they waited til week 6 to bring in a veteran to mentor the rookie. They brought in no upgrades at WR to add to one of the leagues worst groups to help the QB, and after losing more then half their line from last year, they didnt attempt to upgrade or replace the guys lost. They have shown no significant improvements in any positions this year and it doesnt matter how.much cap space they have available if no one worth spending money on wants to sign here, and why would they accept for a paycheck? They also haven't shown much ability to be able to judge talent, specifically on the offensive side. It wont matter if they keep these guys for another year or 2 or fire them now of they arent the right guys. These guys haven't proven anything that they are capable of building a winner, all they have shown is that they know how to take a team backwards. It wont matter if they fire them and blow things up cause theres nothing left to blow up. The team is a pile of rubble -

Not really, it could buy you almost any NFL team you want and not leave you much left.... I believe it also puts you directly into a political seat in the government..... -
DAVID PRICE WINS!!!!!!!!! And the wonderful delightfully modest and classy sports fans in Boston get to watch another team in a championship game/series.......... Ugh, another year rooting for whomever will eventually lose from the National league.

I have been watching the newest season of Ironfist on Netflix, it's been alright so far. I was confused at the start cause I thought (maybe because I hadn't watched it for a while) that the girl who is Mary/Wagner was Jessica Jones acctress/reporter friend. I also find the one who plays the brother from Rand Industries just has a weird/fake looking face and speaks/acts weird. I believe the 3rd season of Daredevil comes out today. -
The season mistake was Teddy Bridgewater
apuszczalowski replied to betop's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seeing as how Teddy hasnt even started or played in a full game yet, hard to say if it was the right or wrong move. No one knows yet what he will be able to do after missing alot of time -

If they arent CBs, DTs or LBs there might better odds of winning the Powerball than seeing an offensive player drafted on day 1-2....... Plus you can draft RBs anywhere, they are a dime a dozen, and what's the use of getting a good WR if the QB cant accurately get him the ball? -
NFL worried about Chargers viability in LA

They could ask the Raiders if they want to buy the lease from them, that was their first relocation choice before announcing the move to Vegas....... -
NFL worried about Chargers viability in LA

Too many logistical issues with London. Going to be near impossible to sign FAs, too much travel for games, having a game played their once in a while will get crowds, but a team would fail miserably if permanently located there. If they expand out of the US, Canada and Mexico would be the only logical choices. -
Differences Teddy and McCown are veteran QBs with much experience in the league as starting QBs. They have even had success as starters McCarron and Peterman have less than half a season combined as starters in the league. Aj had some success in a couple of games, Peterman has started a game without getting a mercy pull around halftime and putting up historically bad numbers. Darnold was expected to be a QB that could come in and compete for a starting job. He had flaws but was polished enough that he could start from day 1 with expected blemishes occasionally Allen was expected to have to sit and learn for a while as he was not as polished or ready to play immediately, if at all this season. He had the highest potential for being a bust, but if it worked out, they also felt he had the highest potential/ceiling. Its painful to say it, but the Jets did this the right way, the Bill's created a huge mess that could potentially set the franchise back a long time......
-
Peterman cant even prevent himself from making basic mistakes, how is he supposed to help Allen learn to not make them? There is nothing special about Peterman that you cant get from any other street FA QB. Even the idea that 'he was the only one with experience in the offence' was wrong because a brand new OC was hired this offseason meaning none of the QBs bad an advantage because none of them played for Daboll before. That might be the only excuse for him staying on the roster now is that he knows the playbook over any one they bring in now Peterman is here and stays on the roster cause the coach has a man crush on him and they see something in him that no one else can see apparently

Still on mine, had Vikings last week (was ready to take the Eagles but thought against it last minute because it was a divisional game and maybe the Giants pull off an upset) I haven't looked at this weeks game to see who to pick yet

NFL worried about Chargers viability in LA
apuszczalowski replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was doomed from the start forcing 2 teams back to LA. One was always going to be the redheaded stepchild to the other (jets to the giants, Mets to the Yankees, rangers to the islanders). Fans in San Diego weren't going to follow and the Rams have been a very good team so most fans would chose them because they are the better team on the field. Chargers should either move back with their tail between their legs or move to another city further away. (Doubt Houston because of the Texans, and st Louis just lost their team) -
Pegula's can now own both the Sabres & Bills
apuszczalowski replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well he is giving the league something they wanted badly, a team in LA, so now they scratch his back and let him have his other teams back...... Also now 2 owners pass away in a short period of time with Spanos and Allen And he always keeps his honest and true word. The team never would have left Buffalo if it could make more money elsewhere..... -
What is a second year 5th round pick QB from a small school with an NFL record worst start going to teach a rookie QB from a small school about playing football that he doesnt already know? Besides what foods are good in the cafeteria, which showers have the warmest water and where the bathrooms are.
-
Peterman also didnt play 'Great' in the Preseason, he just played better then the rookie who's biggest knock was that he needed time to sit and learn, and a career backup to this point who was hurt part way into the 2nd game. I cant think of any 5th round QB that has been given as many chances as Nate after showing absolutely nothing This front office and coaching staff, if Allen was the guy they truly wanted, should have been bringing in the best offensive coaches to help him, along with a more seasoned veteran to play for now until they felt comfortable handing the position over to him. Now because of their egos and ineptitude, they risk losing a lockerroom because they have a good looking defence that's being wasted by a poor offence thats only going to get worse forcing Peterman into more games when he has already proven he is not capable of playing in the NFL.

So which team is up for sale that they want a specific owner for? The NFL wouldn't just eliminate that rule just because or as part of some regular house keeping of their current rules. Theres more likely a team somewhere with interest from an owner that would have normally not been allowed because of this rule..... -
I mean...I’d still pay for Teddy
apuszczalowski replied to GoodHands15's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought they re did part of his deal and it extended the deal? When he was traded, from his comments it sounded like he was very happy to go to NO and be Brees eventual successor, and Brees sounds like he very well could be ready to hang it up very soon. Teddy is in a great spot right now, he gets paid to sit and learn from Brees which can give his body more time to heal, and in a couple seasons gets to take over the spot. They had the opportunity to have him this year if they wanted him and instead passed and waited to dumpster dive after everyone else was gone. Why all of the sudden will they go for him now?
