  1. Peterman has the same future as Anderson has at this point in his career, none. He is simply a warm body holding a roster spot, but at least Anderson has experience that he can pass on to Allen. And no Anderson is an improvement over Peterman. At least Aneerson has played in a full NFL regular season game
  2. I dont know if there has ever been this much love and support shown to a 3rd day pick QB who has never shown ever that he has the potential to be a starter in the NFL. Yet he has been given more chances then most and definitely more then he deserves, yet there are still those that feel he deserves more shots......
  3. The Saints last night lined up with 3 QBs on the field for a play, and their starter is a future HOFer..... Exactly, he is an upgrade at WR, your not going to find process guys with skill just waiting around in October to sign.
  4. This is a value pick by them, they get a WR and possible QB, that's 2 spots filled using only one roster spot! It's likely Anderson may retire by the bye week of he survives the Pat's this week then has one day less to prepare to face Mack next week.
  5. The problem isnt changing coaches every couple of seasons, it's not like they are dumping guys who are going off and succeeding as HCs elsewhere. The problem is they haven't been hiring the right guys which leads to them being let go every few years. Would it be that much better to hold onto a bad choice for a few years longer just because they dont want to change coaches again after 2-3 years? With McDermott and Beane, things would be different if the team showed signs of improvement, but they are getting worse each week because of a self inflicted situation they put themselves into. What they need to do when looking for the next guy is look at finding someone who can work with what they have and not need to replace all of the talent with their own guys. And also find someone who can do multiple things at once, like rebuild a defence and offence together, instead of putting all your resources into one side and neglecting the other side with whatever they find at the bottom of the dumpster.
  6. I will never reveal my sources....... He may actually have had a better chance saving his job if he stuck Fitz after the start of the season rather then 8mmediately switching back to Winston once he could.
  7. Why would he waste his time coming to Buffalo? If his back is bad, why risk making it worse? I realise he is dumber then a pile of rocks, but I still dont see it happening. He had the chance to go play for a former NE coCh in Detroit and have an established, decent veteran QB throw to him and he turned it down saying he only wanted to play with Brady. Just dont see him willing to come try and catch passes from Allen on a team that's at the opposite side of the odds to win a SB, just because it's his hometown and a form positions coach is the OC
  8. I am going to guess Hue Jackson!
  9. The Bill's already were them, except the Giants have better skilled players to deal, right now who is tradeable and for what? No ones paying much for a banged up 30 year old RB, or Benjamin. Aside from a couple DBs who else on this defence will get them a decent draft pick? At some point the front office has to start acquiring talent and not hemorrhaging it to collect picks.......
  10. The Browns have a more ready and polished QB and had a ton of picks and cap space. Didnt help them much, but yet it seems to be that this is the correct path for the Bill's take to not just be good, but become an elite, possible dynasty, that everyone wants
  11. That's what I find funny, so many here saying he should have been fired before the end of last season, yet want to give Beane and McDermott a pass and they have to be given time. Hurst first 2 years he had little talent and the record reflected that. This season he is given a rookie and a guy Bils fans ran out of here and considered one of the worst QBs and they are starting to get better winning 2 games and being in a bunch more that went to overtime. I'm not saying he is a good or bad coach, but at least he has them heading in the right direction, unlike this staff that's taking multiple steps back
  12. They should consider camo, something that they can hide in so maybe they dont get embarrassed as bad in the national spotlight...... Or maybe borrow the Packers or Steelers oldschool throwbacks? Might as well look as bad as their play.
  13. Rams are beatable, their offence is coming back down to this solar system, and the Chiefs offence can keep up. The Rams almost lost to the Packers yesterday if they didnt get the game giftwrapped to them with that fumbled kickoff.....
  14. Well it's not like there is anyone that much better that could possibly be available that hasnt been run out of Buffalo? Cant get a guy who would want to continue being a starter cause of Allen (so no Carr or Foles) and we want someone who is at least somewhat of a threat in the passing game to score some points (so no Bortles or Taylor). They could do worse then Fitz to keep the lockerroom from starting a Mutiny against McDermott and actually get the offence somewhat less embarrassing and epically inept. No ones calling for him to be the franchise
  15. Always love hearing how they cant sign someone or make certain moves because they arent ready to compete yet. That they have to waste a few years not signing good players cause it's not the right time. And then fans complain about making the playoffs like it's a bad thing if their team isnt a serious Superbowl contender. Like they have to be bad and stay out of the playoffs until they are favorites for the Super bowl. Its definitely more enjoyable watching the playoffs from the outside then watching your team playing in a game and having even a slight chance of moving on.
  16. Let's keep the complaining until the end of September next season when we get to start talking draft, Bill's picks, and the advantages of tanking (again) as they waste another year
  17. Not a chance, the current front office couldnt wait to get rid of him. If there had been a Panthers QB available Taylor would have been gone sooner. Your more likely to see Peterman back in as starter then Taylor traded for. It wouldn't shock me to see Anderson retire soon if he takes a couple more hits. He is older, was out of football until 3 weeks ago and already complaining of being sore from taking a beating in his first game. He would have probably announced his retirement already but doing a favour for Beane and McDermott by hanging in until the Bye week.
  18. Must be something wrong, how could he not be a Pat already?
  19. Probably has more to do with the fact that presenters on TV always wore suits. Back in the day when they started to broadcast sports, it was more common to dress in suits when going out in public. You wore a suit when going on a trip on a plane. Tou wore one to the store or to dinner. I think they just kept the dress code of wearing a suit as a presenter or host on TV and never felt the need to change. You do start to see sideline guys sometimes going a little more casual on occasion. Society in general is getting more casual and wear suits is no longer common for most people.
  20. Did you even look at it before you bought it? I would be scared to buy any lumber from their if a 2x6 can just snap loading it into a truck. I definitely wouldn't use it to repair a roof, lol.
  21. I wont be attending or watching so whether they do it or not it doesnt affect me. It obviously doesnt look to good on them going through with it in the eyes of many that are against that country/area because of the way they are governed and their lifestyle. I only made the comment because there are many, including your president, who dont feel the need right now to react and cut ties with the country, and this is Vince McMahon we are talking about, he wont let anything stand in his way of making money if there are others in power who believe the same as him.
  22. Not really, it's a scripted entertainment that trys to portray itself as being real (like all reality TV today). It would be pretty disgusting of Vince and the WWE if it was all an act and part of a story and not true. Now they have sunk low before, but I dont think they have ever sunk 'faking cancer/lukemia' low. They also do a lot of work and things for children's charities that deal with kids who are battling the same thing, I couldn't see them faking an angle like that and still being able to do that kind of work anymore. Vince's good pal in Washington doesnt seem to think it's worth cutting ties or getting upset over, why would Vince think otherwise and turn down money?
  23. This was a move of taking a guy off of someones PS to put on the Bill's active roster. This is their attempt to try and upgrade the active roster, not to get a look at someone on the practice squad.
  24. That would be awesome if this was some WWE style work revenge by Gruden and the Oakland fans, trying to screw over the Raiders and Davis for firing him before Nd now moving the team to Vegas One day Gruden comes out for a press conference and rips of his shirt supporting some other team or against Vegas and Davis then announces that he did this all on purpose and screw you Davis! Then he chugs some beer and gives Davis a Stone Cold Stunner while pouring beer on him....
  25. So they are basically doing the same thing the Bill's front office did when they took over. Passed on taking a QB (Mahommes) except they got a good CB instead of a very good RB, and now are selling off the existing talent to acquire picks to get a QB in the next draft. It's not like the guys from this draft are blowing everyone away and carrying their teams making others regret not taking them. They Jets, Browns, Bills, and Cardinals arent that far from the Giants in the standings..... The only Difference for them is that when they draft a new QB , he can learn from a Manning with 2 Superbowl rings, and will have a stud RB there to help him out on the field. I would wonder how great Goff would look if they Rams didnt have Gurley there in that offence.
