  1. Look at Jacksonville, they had a defence that helped one of the leagues worst offences and Blake Bortles to almost upsetting the Patriots I the playoffs last year and now they are very beatable. You cant take years to build a team anymore and throw seasons away . They have a very good defence now and an offence that may be close to one of the worst ever. Who knows what happens next year No, the offence is 100% the problem. Its one job is to score points, it has been inept at doing that and cant stay on the field. They could be near the division lead right now if they could put up a messily 20 points in a game, something even most bad teams can do
  2. You cant give coaches and GMs 4+ years to see if they have what it takes, it's not how the business works and it sets your franchise back way too far. You have to see improvement and so far these guys keep trying to take steps backwards instead of forwards. They decided to strip it of any talent it had to bring in their own guys just making things worse and requiring more time before they would be able to show any signs of improvement Yeah but how many have historically bad offences? The offense last year was bad, this year it is even worse and it worse because they neglected it again to continue pooling resources to the defence in a time where the league is shifting to teams needing high powered offences. Teams are winning because they can out score the other, not because their defence can hold them. This team has not shown they have an offence that can score even o the worst defences in the league. The games coming up arent that much easier
  3. I agree, and I dont blame him personally.
  4. Pretty much what I have been saying....
  5. What has Nate Peterman ever shown in his entire career playing football that should make anyone think he is capable of being an NFL player? He has been given more chances then almost any other QB drafted on day 3 has been given. At least Derek Anderson has had some success as a starter in the NFL. Anderson throws one pick in 4 quarters after being out of the league on the golf course 3 weeks ago and people want to see more from Nate Peterman who cant make it past halftime I his previous starts?
  6. No he doesnt, he has looked like a guy that was picked in the 5th and should not be starting in the NFL
  7. Rosen was thought of as being one of the top QBs in this draft, and had a college career to back up being chosen early I the first. Nate was drafted in the 5th with a scouting report that had his ceiling listed as being a backup QB at best. Peterman is an embarrassment to the NFL and would not make the PS on any other team
  8. His one critical weakness is that he isnt an NFL caliber player and if McDermott wasnt in love with him he wouldn't be in the league. He has been given more chances tjen Lmost any other QB drafted where he was drafted and yet so many think he needs to have more chances I dont kkow of any QB drafted outside the top 10 in the draft that has been given more chances when showing no signs of being capable to play in the league
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if he said he never intended to take the field and was just here to sit with Allen on the sidelines and talk with him to help him out
  10. Except that the only ones anyone would want or give up anything more then 'future considerations' for are guys that are supposed to be part of the future here.
  11. He doesnt seem driven by money and IIRC, I think he's only making league minimum right now? More like he is just doing a favour for Beane and McDermott and helping him out. I dont think he makes it past the Bye week though. I dont think he intended to start any games and was just supposed to be an on field coach for Allen and save Beane and McDermott from being forced to start Peterman......
  12. Sit the entire team out for the season and just forfeit, why risk players health and fans time?
  13. The embarrassment is the offence that they keep putting on the field every week and the fact that they are not a threat to score, ever.... They are a historically bad offence
  14. More time and building a core isnt going to help if they arent good coaches and GM which they have get to show they are anything special . It wont matter if they fired a coach every season unless they finally find a quality coach and/or GM.
  15. He is head and shoulders better then the ones currently on this roster. Dump Benjamin and get Pryor and another competent WR and maybe the offence can get back to scoring almost 20 points a game? Oh wait, they cant do that, it would hurt their chances at 1st overall which will help this team much more then getting a winning attitude and keeping the defensive players happy that the teamnisnt throwing away another season.....
  16. What can you expect from a guy who was out of football 3 weeks ago and now is starting? They guy throws one INT all game and everyone cant wait to get rid of him so they can go back to Peterman
  17. Peterman also throws more in a quarter the Anderson has thrown all year...
  18. Well they have no one else, but it's ok, Beane has draft picks and cap space next year........
  19. Well, except that at least this game lasted til the 4th, longer then Peterman has lasted in ang of his career starts.....
  20. It took Anderson almost 4 quarters to do it, has Peterman made it to the 4th quarter in a game he has started?
  21. Son of a #&$&$£÷*#,$*$*$!!!!!!!
  22. ANDERSON FOR MVP!!!!!!!!!! HE THREW A TD PASS!!!!!!!!!
  23. I want to say 7 TDs? I remember hearing that 2 weeks ago?
  24. Just grab his hair and go for a ride......
