  1. Retire? No, he still feels he can play at a high level, he knows the offence here isnt helping him and his style of running. I think it's more likely he asks for a trade/release before retiring.
  2. A 10 year guaranteed $100 mil contract gives him an extra year........ It's hilarious that so many believe that being successful and making the playoffs is a setback for a franchise. If these guys were competent and actually good at their jobs, they would have been able to build off of what they had, instead they continued to want to get rid of talent they didnt hand pick, collect cap space and draft picks, and make the team worse.
  3. The guy they planned to have sit on the bench all year to watch and learn, like EVERY projection and NFL scouting expert said he would need to do and develop.....
  4. That's what all the good coaches do, they continue to hold back someone doing well to continue pushing the guy who isnt. I guess when you have an offence clicking on all cylinders you can have that luxury of not using the player actually producing more to continue going to the guy who isnt
  5. And they gave up on him after a couple weeks in the Preseason, they still gave up an asset for someone they got rid of almost immediately. It's too bad these guys couldnt multitask and put a somewhat NFL level offence on the field while working on the defence like pretty much any other team in the league can do. So basically you are giving them a pass and more time because they neglected one half of their duties to focus on the other half.
  6. Compared to the rest of the offence, sure Not so much compared to others in the NFL. And what does it say about the guys in charge when he is still behind Shady and not being used as much?
  7. And what have the guys in charge shown tho so far that they know what they are doing to rebuild an offence? Was it their choices in QBs? WRs? Olinemen? Offensive Co Ordinator choices? Was it trading for Benjamin? Coleman? Continuing to have faith in a 5th round QB that hasnt shown anything in games that mattered in his career?
  8. Yeah, much better to give guys who are bad at their jobs longer to put their stamp on it and show they are bad.... The problem has never been the Bill's letting coaches go to soon, its that they cant find decent coaches in the first place? Since Levy, who has been a successful HC in the NFL since leaving? Marrone might be the only one (outside of Greggos own head). Most have shown to be good Co Ordinators who cant handle being HCs. More time wasnt going to change that.....
  9. Do you think the current players are happy and would stay here if they had a choice seeing the front office and coaching staff made them worse and continued to cut down the team after they made the playoffs?
  10. Especially since they didnt even really show up to the game so it just relayed the offseason...
  11. I dont even think McD should get the credit anymore for overachieving co soldering what we have seen of him since and the fact that he did it after throwing a game by making Peterman the starter for half the Chargers game. I think the players deserve the credit for overachieving and overcoming McDermott.........
  12. But he has shown so much promise! - Broke the TD streak - lasted longer then the first half of the game - threw for more yards then the other QB - Fans can justify the INTs as not being his fault because the WRs suck Allen better watch out cause his future may be in jeopardy now!
  13. It makes them feel better and smart for once by saying that this was all part of the plan, and that a franchise, in a big money business like the NFL, would be willing to put such a disastrous product out there. Bill's fans may actually have a chance of winning a court case charging the Bill's for fraud by charging to watch an NFL product on the field.
  14. You know this front office will go defence in that situation, then they will use the extra laye picks to move up and down the middle rounds to reach for their process guys to fill holes
  15. As long as McDermotts here, so will Peterman......
  16. My quote has nothing to do with comparing him to Allen, I was comparing him to McDermotts true choice for franchise QB, they guy who keeps getting forced down Bill's fans throats......
  17. Yeah, but at least the guy has done something in his football career to be worth picking in the 1st and a chance at being a starter in the NFL.........
  18. Maybe we can all chip in and get them gift baskets if they do?
  19. Dont insult the CFL like that, even they wouldn't take him
  20. The Browns? A bunch considering most of them are jo longer with the team anymore.
  21. New term, a Nate Peterman led Offence......
  22. No, having competent and very good scouts, GM and coaches are how you get those things. How many great, elite, talent players do the Browns have on their roster after decades of drafting at the begining of the draft?
  23. Because they have a Plan and Process and Picks! And everyone was supposed to expect this because they have so much dead cap! It's all part of the plan
  24. No, they were mediocre for a good chunk of the last 17+/- years. This is a complete shi*t show
