  1. The Redskins have probably already sent in their claim, One of their Vice presidents said that what the guy they just claimed did was "no big deal, people much higher up have done worse things".......
  2. That would have probably involved the NFL actually asking for it, and not just trying to sweep it under the rug and hope it never becomes public.......
  3. Did it say they didnt? The Police in Clevland determined it didnt require charges, and the NFLs crack investigation team determined it didnt warrant anything until it came to the public's attention.....
  4. Not saying the rest matters, just that the visiting teams on Thursdays have not faired well on Thursdays.
  5. Disagree, they can succeed just as well as anyone with a sane and normal name. No one specified what that success would be in. I mean, you don't see very many Dr. Porche's out there.......
  6. How many visiting teams have won on Thursday nights this year? I thought they showed a stat earlier that showed the visitors did not have much luck in thursday night this year.
  7. So the NFL started their investigation into this back in February after it happened, and just now, when the incident became public, has decided to put him in the exempt list? Way to go NFL and show everyone you mean business in getti g rid of this stuff....
  8. Going by your definition, every player is a team first player. But someone who is willing to hold out because they are insulted they would have to play out a season being paid as one of the top 5 players at his position, and cuts himself off from contact of his teammates is not a team first kind of player, they are not because they are putting themselves and their bank accounts first, not the team and their teammates. Does he have every right to do what he is doing, yes. Does it mean that he is still a team first guy, not really, if it wasnt for Conner stepping up, he could really be hurting his teammates by not being on the field. Players have tried to talk to him and he doesnt respond. He wants to be paid Big in order to play a game. It doesnt matter how you want to define it, any way you put it, this front office doesnt want players that would do what he is doing this season. They want players who want to play the game because they love it and not for their bank account/paycheck. It's not hard to understand. They believe that a team full of players who love the game and play for the love of it will be more successful then having guys who may have a bunch of talent, but care more about their next contract. Whether it works or not can be debated, but that's what this front office and management wants in their players.
  9. Not really, you just need an offence that can keep up and score just as much, with a defence you hope can be good enough to get a stop or 2 during the game so you can take the lead. There isnt a defence in the league that is going to be able to shut down or stop the Rams, Saints, or KC offences. They may be able to slow them down a bit, but those teams are going to score points. You just have to hope your defence is good enough to slow them down while your offence can keep up. The Pat's biggest success came at a time when defences could still win you championships and they have a QB and offence that could score at will. They didnt need a top rated defence to win, and very few teams could beat them
  10. I have chromecast and use it all the time, but with android based products. We have iPads too for the kids and i think it works from them too cause they will put things on TV sometimes from them. No problems with video issues from any Only issue is that you cant cast just anything, somethings wont allow it to be cast. I have the OHL hockey pass for some games and can only view the videos online, it wont let me cast the video to my TV.
  11. To be fair, the Bill's weren't going to fire McDermott last offseason to hire Reich after they got to the playoffs in his first year. And when they were looking for a HC, Reich was a dark horse candidate for jobs but wasnt viewed as a top candidate yet. Was he even a OC yet at that point or just on offensive assistant? And let's not forget that he was at best the 2nd/backup choice for the job after the had already agreed with McDaniels and hired people for his staff before he backed out and they had to scramble to hire Reich.
  12. Yeah, team first guys who are in it to play the game sit out an entire season because they are insulted to play for top 5 at their position money. He has cut off ties to almost all of his teammates. Definitely the 'character' kind of player this front office is looking for!
  13. The Eagles barely beat the Giants, now they are going to beat a good Texans team?
  14. I'm sure they would live a player who brings those kind of stats here, but they also value guys more that are playing cause they love the game and their teammates, not for their bank account. They dont want divas who are playing for themselves and their personal stats. If Bell has another year or 2 of the same stats, is he going to sit out another season because he wants his contract renegotiated? The reality is, this front office and coaching staff want guys who love and are all about the game of football first. Not me first guys looking to cash checks. It might not be what some fans want, bit they arent in charge in the lockerroom or on the field having to coach the team.
  15. No way he fits here, doesnt fit the type of guys they want here. The player doesnt have to be a choir boy, but they want guys who love football and want to play the game, not someone who is willing to throw away a season because they want more then the top 5 guys at their position.
  16. Didnt the Bill's fire coordinators last year?
  17. Jacksonville is a QB away from being a much better team. They have everything else in place to be a contender except for a QB, coaching may be questionable. Right now teams know that all you have to do to beat them is make Bortles try to beat you with his arm, otherwise they will just keep running the ball because Bortles hasnt shown he can be a competent QB in the NFL. They have a really good defence in place already, add a QB that teams have to also respect to throw the ball and they are contenders. Right now they arent a threat to score much and rely on the defence to keep the score low to win. They would have to dump Bortles ASAP and either sign/trade for a decent QB, or draft someone pro ready if possible. The Bill's have the potential to be contenders down the line, but they still have so many question marks and holes to fill. They still dont know if they have a franchise QB yet, WRs need to be upgraded, older RBs, questions on the oline, and older vets playing on a defence that's very Jeckell & Hyde. And they may have cap room and picks, but they have to find player who will want to come here and find the right guys with the picks otherwise it means nothing. The last couple weeks may be deceiving playing some bad teams making the Bill's look better, just like the start of the year may have made them look much worse playing some really good teams. Theres still alot of work and questionmarks on both sides of the ball that need to be fixed before this team is a contender, more then just a QB
  18. How many head coaches get offered a job in season after getting fired? It almost never happens, so why not take the offer when it was given to go back to the team you left. He did leave the Bengals to go to the Browns originally.
  19. During last nights game they showed their season stats, Cousins has thrown the ball a little more, and threw 6 more picks, but other then that, his stats were pretty compatible to Aaron Rodgers stats for the season.
  20. I think they still do it I know watching baseball that sometimes behind the catcher, the ads on the wall are just green screens that the network can put their own ads onto
  21. Exactly, he was fired and took the first job offering that came to him He didn't quit on them to take the Cincy job
  22. Needed this game to end within 3 points for $1,200 I hate the Packers.................
  23. I doubt it, Pittsburgh has looked weak since their Carolina Blowout, they barely won last week and now lost this week.
  24. With Peterman out of the league right now, Bortles may now be the worst QB in the league? At least Tyrod was a threat to run and Peterman was a 5th rounder who was never supposed to be anything in the league
  25. Bortles completing more to the Bill's defence then his own offence?
