  1. That's true, but I could see them not wanting to risk and serious injuries if someone gets a little banged up. Especially if the Saints lose another game.
  2. I just find it funny that it's never called on a runner, but always called on the defender, whats the difference? Another visiting team losing on Thursday night this year...... So one coach, a year after his team makes the playoffs, with a team built defence first, with an offence that's built as a run first offence, and mismanaged the QB position and on the 2nd OC, deserves to be fired cause his team regressed in the 2nd year?
  3. Toughest part for this game to me is that the Rams have clinched a playoff spot and more then likely a 1st round bye. I still think its early to rest starters, but if some one gets a little dinged up, do they continue to play like the probably would before clinching, or do they get taken out as a precaution? This game will be interesting to see a good defence against a good offence, I think the Rams defence is good enough to keep the Bears offence in check, but can the Bears defence do the same?
  4. Maybe because of how little Tom made on Dominos thats how he came up with the idea for Little Cesar's?
  5. I love how a runner can stiff arm someone in the facemask and it's ok, yet a defender does it and it's a penalty
  6. If Andrew can anchor the oline and create solid pocket, could they call it Fort Lauderdale?
  7. Eliminate the touchback if the ball lands in the field of play first and bounces into the endzone. If the ball hits at say the one, then bounces into and through the endzone, give the kicking team 2 points like a touchback. If the ball hits in the endzone and goes through, it's a touchback. It makes kicks more difficult cause they will have to try and get the ball to land before the endzone instead of just kicking it through, and it force the other team to return the kick instead of just letting it go.
  8. Smart move by Lewis, get Hue the job after you, then after a few seasons fans will look back and say 'huh, maybe we had it good with Lewis and he wasnt so bad after all!'......
  9. Or the front office watched an Aaron Rodgers team lose the the Cardinals today......
  10. Its not like he did anything despicable, like kneeling during the anthem...
  11. Because no QB or team leader in any sport has never taken blame for something to protect a teammate.
  12. You may want to try watching other games not involving the Bill's if you are really going to put the blame on Allen for that play. Almost no QB throws perfect passes, they throw passes that are catchable and competent NFL receivers make the moves need to catch the ball. The Ball was in a catchable position for an NFL player to make.
  13. Yup, the DB had his arms wrapped around Jones Nd not reaching out for the ball, should have been PI. I would bet the refs didnt trhow the flag because they assumed he made the catch and decided to let it go, then found out it wasnt a catch and going to be reviewed so they couldn't go back on it.
  14. That's the thing, even the best QBs and Brady make poor throws, buy in most cases they have decent players who dont need a textbook perfect throw to make a catch. Half the Bill's offensive skill players struggle to catch even the best throws....
  15. Watch it again, the defender had his arm wrapped around Allen's neck....
  16. Maybe not a horse collar but he tackled him with a choke hold, which became more noticable on the replay....
  17. Says the guy a few pages ago telling everyone not to blame the refs......
  18. Offensive musical numbers with props are cool, touch a guys leg while celebrating a tackle, that's taunting. Calling another teams players on their sideline trash while your on the field, that's not taunting......
  19. I think its more about times changing, and this is no longer being accepted or able to be pushed under the rug like before. What Winston has done is tame compared to some of this other stuff. They just say that in Ray Lewis's case, the courts found him innocent so we wont do anything, and it usually ends there. Now with more social media and backlash/protests becoming more common, even if someone is found innocent in court, it doesn't mean people will just forgive and forget
  20. I don't think so, they just showed on tv the list of players put on the 'Commisioners Exempt List' and only 2 have ever played again out of I believe 6, and it was Greg Hardy and a LB from the Colts. It doidn't include Rice, or Carruth, or Peterson, so this list may be a new term or type of suspension list then what was used before.
  21. What was written there basically contradicts any belief they didn't know anything. They were aware of the incident and investigated, but did not obtain or view the tape (or they claim they knew nothing of the tape) Maybe he kicked her because the Anthem started playing and he thought she was kneeling?
  22. Who do you think was videoing it? Probably the same guy who video's Spygate! Pats have a bunch of directors and videographers on staff I bet.........
  23. That has nothing to do with what I am talking about, No where did I ever say that one had more time to prepare then the other, just that fact that it seems THE VISITING TEAM PLAYING ON THURSDAY NIGHTS THIS YEAR HAVE NOT FAIRED WELL. Never mentioned anything about a team having more time to prepare then the other, just that this year the visitors have not won many of them So I just looked it up, Thursday night games, the visitors are 2-11 with the Eagles beating the Giants in week 5, and the Broncos beating the cardinals in Week 6 If you include all the Thanksgiving day games, its 3-12 with the Bears beating the Lions Again, because reading comprehension seems to be low, this is just the results of the game, not getting into whether one team had more or less time then the other to prepare, the visitors have not faired well in the thursday night games.
  24. NFL too, but they all claim that they had no idea of the video, or they did but didn't want to know about it so they act when it becomes public......
