  1. Sad thing is, it wont matter if Brady retires or not, he isnt needed to win these games, the Bill's 'offence' cant score against them.
  2. True, but I think it's more of a bodies type thing. They need to have WRs and very few to chose from lead to him being active....
  3. I see this game going 1 of 2 ways today. Bill's pull off an upset, or Bill's getting completely destroyed like 90 to 3, just because I cant see them losing 3 in a row and because theres a chance the Bill's could beat them that I see them getting destroyed in a huge let down game for Bill's fans....
  4. Hes a legend in Buffalo, hes just another HOF QB to anyone not a Bill's fan. Take the home glasses off and think about the question of would you rather have a career where you dont win a championship but make the hall of fame or have a career where you have one good year good enough to win a championship and MVP? Does anyone think Jim would trade being in Canton to have won just one of those SBs? (Same as Marino) Do you think someone like Rypen, or Rob Johnson, or Trent Dilfer would trade their SB rings in to get their bust in Canton?
  5. It's not as bad a question as everyone is making it out to be if you look at the question as saying "what kind of career would you rather be known for. A superbowl win and an MVP award, or no Superbowl rings but making the HOF" ?
  6. Last year I bought 2 "ugly Christmas sweaters" that are more just awesome sweaters that are star wars themed. Wore them to work for our staff Christmas lunches. Almost bought a Metallica one too, bought my brother a Chilli Peppers one for Christmas last year. We had an 'ugly Christmas sweater' day at work, I thought about wearing one of my wifes Leafs Jerseys (or hockey sweater) that day but couldn't lower myself to wear something so dirty...... Since this is a football board, I guess I could wear my Broncos Orton Jersey, or Bill's Donte Whitner one.......
  7. That would be a cool collection to have. It's funny that the old sticks you could pretty much repair and use compared to today where they are trash. I still have all my old sticks when they break in my garage, I plan on using them to make something like a table or chair or bench with them. The stick I had Nolan sign was one of my own, a 'gas bar special' decades ago from Canadian tire. I do remember a few other autographs I have. A co worker of mine used to go to Florida every spring during spring training and he brought me back a signed Jay's Program from Buck Martinez. My wife has a ticket signed by Jim Cuddy of Canadian band Blue Rodeo whom she met again recently at a show. I have the last 2 albums by the Canadian band The Trews signed by all of them. I may also have a Hasek autographed card too, but that one I cant remember.
  8. No one taught you at the time that it's your neck that's supposed to be hurt, not arm.......
  9. Anderson should only be brought back in a coaching position if they feel he really helps Allen. He is not worth waiting cap space and a roster spot on to just be a mentor. Let him "retire" and give him a coaching/mentor position.
  10. I figured you could get a few of the 'heavy duty' or single cab long bed models still. Most are going 6' beds to make up for having 4 doors and the idea is you can haul sheets of plywood, etc. by having the tailgate down.
  11. My teams name was 'So bad it Ertz'......
  12. I think the only ones I have are Sabres. A couple Rob Ray's and Ted Nolans. Ted signed a stick after a practice. I worked with someone who gave me a Sabres stick that was supposed to be signed by Hasek but I'm not sure on that one. My wife also gave me a stick signed by the entire 2016 OHL Niagara Ice Dogs team. Most famous name on that one is probably Islanders prospect Josh Ho Sang As a kid I think I had a Commander Tom signed picture too
  13. I know all about the Hilux, I owned an '89 single cab. Had a friend who was obsessed with them and would always brag about how indistructible they were, had a nodded one that was mainly for rock crawling. Used to offroad alot years ago where we could. I bought one from him and I spun bearings driving it to a mechanic to get a safety check on it to get plates. I replaced the motor but it had constant stall/starting issues when warm so I got rid of it. They were a solid truck and it's why they have a reputation today of being so great, although that's starting to change. One of the most famous segment ever on Top Gear was them trying to destroy one, then it became part of the set. I have always liked the look of the old FJ40s Can any of the new full size trucks fit a sheet in the back anymore? Trucks used to be for work only, then people started driving them everywhere and now you have vehicles that are built more for daily driving that occasionally get used for actual work.
  14. You have that wrong, Kraft gets Brady to give the oline gifts under the table I want the Surface mainly for sketching plans while taking measurements and making site notes on plans and photos using the surface pen. Easier to transport and use outside on a job site then a laptop, and I have a desktop in my home office for working on. But I would also use it for watching TV and movies too.
  15. I hear Tom Bradys family are also an IPad Family......... I have been looking at Surface Pros for the last year wanting to get one. They used to use them at my work before I started but just switched to IPad Pros. I wanted something with the pen to make notes over plans or photos. Its handy to have that option and they are much better then the old stylus to write with. The problem is that there are so many surface options and they can get expensive very fast.
  16. Well, the last time they brought in a WR named Boldin things worked out so well......
  17. When I saw the news yesterday (this will probably be one of those 'do you remember where you were the day Nate Peterman was picked up by the Raiders' moments) I was with a Raiders fan and showed it to him. His response was 'Yeah, i dont know what the heck we are doing anymore....'
  18. He admitted to showing up to practices and games sometimes drunk and/or high. It's been both with him.
  19. Hopefully my next vehicle sometime next year.......... Except not a Rubicon, I already told my wife I want a base model Sport, my only factory options would probably be A/C & Heated seats (backup cameras I believe are now stock on all new vehicles). Go with the hard top and probably check the after market for Soft top and tonneau cover, and get a good bed liner. Everything else would be added and upgraded by me over time. First Its funny, I never see anyone driving Toyotas on trails, unless they are the old 80's and early 90s versions of the trucks................. I do see mall parking lots littered with Toyota pickups with TRD stickers and 4wd being engaged once a few flurries start falling from the sky
  20. This didnt turn into a Woulda thread?
  21. That would be very helpful and classy of Jerry, helping him out this holiday season
  22. Yeah, but they have to be given back when they leave the team I would think, These ones they will be able to keep and have next year to help look for new careers....... I'm sure he purchased them too, Its not like he would have had access to, and been given any back in the day...........
  23. I lost cause I started Goff last week.......
