  1. I see it a little differently: #4, Collins. The fact that he won a few games for the Redskins a full ten years after he left Buffalo doesn't change the fact that he did nothing for 10 years in the NFL. #3, Edwards. Biggest drawback is that he's too injury prone. Won a few games, mostly (not all) against inferior competition. The games he did win were not passing extravaganzas for the most part. #2, Johnson. See injury prone (above). Probably the best arm of all four. Had some decent games, had a playoff game won, if the damn special teams had stayed in their lanes. Otherwise #3 & #4 are interchangeable. That leaves #1, who played somewhat better than #4, and got hurt way less than #2 and #3. All in all, a rogues gallery.
  2. I've hated CDs since I listened to my first one. (FZ WOIIFTM, good choice, not!) I'm a committable committed vinyl guy from the get-go. Currently I have a VPI TT. I use it less and less, even though it sounds better. Most of the time now, I listen to itunes from a Mac laptop into my system. Hard drive playback of ripped CDs sounds WAY better than the CDs unless they are played back on top equipment. The vinyl still sounds better, but itunes shuffle is the best dj (as apposed to DJ) I have ever heard. And I'm lazy, getting up every X minutes to flip a side is a drag. So is deciding what to play.
  3. Interesting. I'll let you know.
  4. Wasn't that Rowan Atkinson & Doc Marten?
  5. Over in the "Foods You Hate" thread I can't believe how many said they don't like fickles.
  6. Short time?????????????????? Try 3 LONG years, none of which he was able to avoid injury. You're setting yourself up for more disappointment, Dog.
  7. Yes, maybe I am. But: Plays semi OK Gets hurt. Comes back. Plays less OK Gets hurt. Comes back. Sucks Gets hurt. Comes back. Plays 2 plays, Sucks Gets hurt. Comes back... The cycle has to end somewhere.
  8. Sorry, but I just want him gone. He is the personification of everything that is wrong with this team. I'm to the point of rooting for him to start, because I know that will hasten his exit. Even if that sets us back in the development of a real QB.
  9. Trent Edwards prediction? Injured by October. Hopefully career-ending.
  10. Q: So how would you deliberately tank it, without appearing to deliberately tank it?
  11. First, it's either common, or come on. Second, neither one is adequate. Third, unfortunately we as fans are stuck with who they play. Fourth, Trent will get hurt. Fifth, No big deal. Sixth, Buh - bye!
  12. Trent plays scared. Too much estrogen, too little testosterone. Too many checkdowns. He probably has a better arm than Fitz, but if he passes for -3 yards again on a 3rd and 13, I will probably drop this team until he is gone.
  13. Why do people just parrot things? 14. And you're right, I'll never disparage him for this sound bite. However, he sucks as an NFL quarterback. Next question?
  15. And why was there a Canadian judge? Those people boil their bread. Of course he chose Anchor Bar.
  16. Absolutely right! We have never EVER seen the likes of Cornelius Bennett Frank Lewis James Lofton Bryce Paup Chris Speilman Sam Gash Larry Centers Kenny Davis John Davis Conrad Dobler or many other players brought in on trades/waivers from other teams to help us. EVER. You noobs have it DOWN!
  17. I wonder if Jauron wanted a Pop Warner offense due to the one who was leading it?
  18. With two new tackles and whatever other changes on the OL, I wouldn't expect TE to last into October. So I'm not stressed. If he starts this season, dollars to donuts says he won't finish it. Then, buh-bye.
  19. I wouldn't dismiss things so quickly. What's this Mamu guys' 40 time? Bench press?
  20. What the HELL does "academically fit" mean? Thrilled to see you up and around, but this reeks of newagespeak. Welcome back.
  21. Sure, let him compete, as long as he's cut by the middle of training camp to allow someone with an upside to get more reps.
  22. You know, Dog, I am beginning to come around to your way of thinking. The sooner we start Edwards, the sooner he'll go down with a career ending injury, and then we'll be done with him forever. Can't wait for the season or even the preseason to begin! Hell, he might even fold by training camp or OTAs.
