for the people saying we can't sign those guys, do you know anything about player costs and the cap?
if so, please tell us how much we do/will have to spend and how much those players will cost.
thanks

i watched play book and they broke down the redskin DTs and what they do. those two guys have a lot of strength and solid technique. i think we need a big DT who can play the game and kick but, our current guys are just not strong enough (save sam adams). i hope we get a couple of decent DTs in the draft and FA and have them play a role, not try to make the tackle all by themselves every play

the best games are
1 one of the racing games, either ridge racer or project gotham depending on your taste.
you have to be a real motor head (as in boring) to totally get off on these games tho, all you do is drive
2 call of duty 2. great WW2 shooter with online play. the bugs in the online play are bad tho. i can't aim the guns with that right thumb stick (used to using a mouse).
3. Kameo elements of power. this is a childish and girly game, but it is a ton of fun. it is like mario, jak and dexter, and all those 3rd person games where you run around and find things and battle bad guys. huge cinematic battles and a great soundtrack round out great graffics and some fun and unique play mechanics. the game is too short tho, but i am fo sho gonna get the sequel when it comes out.

looks like taking the top (or even top 2) tackles in the draft resulted in a 1 for 6 record over the last 6 drafts.
that's pretty bad
this ferguson guy looks a bit different tho, there are about 5 or 6 guys that would have been watched to see if they were worthy of a single digit pick at tackle this year, and he is clearly better than the rest.
i'd rather keep picks or trade down and get a top 3 dt and a top 3 lt, that and a couple moves in FA would make a HUGE improvement on our team
-
i have a 360
it is good but they have to work out the bugs on xbox live and there aren't many good games for it.
i can't wait till grand theft auto and nfl street are out for it, then my life will be complete

mm did jack against cincy
we played meh, cincy played poorly, a couple well timed sacks/pressures by schoble and mcgee pulling 2 rabits out of a hat in one game is what won it for us.
mm and td still need to eat glass

his contract averages over 13 mill a year and he is getting 30 something over the next year or so.
the bottom line is his cap hit for a single season is always going to be huge, and any "cap cheap" year is going to result in a cap expensive year, he might be worth 20+ mill against the cap for one season unless nearly every season has an equal cap hit.
that is a whole lot of money on one player
-
the blurbs i have heard about this say that SD will trade Rivers with his contract as is. this means that his big bonus and first couple years are allready paid, so whoever trades for rivers will have a very cap and cash friendly contract for such a high pick.
SD might be able to get a top 10 pick for him under those circumstances.
i'd expect them to go for the top LT or pass rusher available, although that jimmy williams might make a big impact because they have not had great secondary.

I didn't see any wink wink in your post so I'll assume your serious here.
1- he has obviously been more than a "barely adequate LB" this year. That's plain ridiculous. He has also improved steadily during the season, especially on shedding blocks.
2- I agree that he may not fit well on the strong side, but I'd be willing to bet he can play the middle in our scheme as well as he plays the WLB, plus he has proven to be a very good ST player. Maybe TKO plays the strong side next year as well.
i think crowell can be a very good LB in the NFL.
he has a good ability to make plays and hits hard.
i think he can definately play on the strong side, he is big and can cover some (granted he needs to develop this), and i think he does a lot more blitzing than milloy does

kelly doesn't take very good care of the ball either.
if his checkdowns aren't there he gets sacked just standing like drew used too, he drops the ball way too much and does make some bone headed plays (lateral passes out of bounds, running backwards while getting sacked, soft passes into coverage 5 yards down field etc).
he is great at the easy stuff, but has never been even remotely cabable of the hard stuff, JP seems to be the opposite.
i'll take kelly as a back up, but lets shoot TD and MM out of a cannon and get some people in who know what they are doing.
-
the bottom line thing that really makes me think MM and his drones and TD need to get out of dodge is the whole QB thing.
they trade for drew, he does great.
they ditch all of his weapons, he does crap
they ditch the old coaches, bring in new ones WITH NO EXPERIENCE and make no real improvements on the line, and only small ones on the weapons. they also extend drew
then they eat a bunch of money to ditch drew and hand over the team to jp, again with no improvement (a step back even!) on the lines.
they never had any idea if they wanted drew or not, or if JP was ready, or who should start out of kelly and jp. they are just horrible horrible coaches/management and have no business being here.
it has been said we shouldn't risk our whole team to let JP learn on the job so he MIGHT be good one day, but the same could be said of mularky and co, especially since he is a moron retard

i think ngata is exactly the type of guy that would just set off our entire D
i think we can grab
SS/MLB
and 2 OTs/OGs
with the rest of our day 1 picks and end up with 4 players making contributions and making us a better team right away.
throw in hutch/bently and a new coaching staff, and we got a team!!
-
angelo london and spikes make up a very strong good tackling LB core
keeping sam adams and bringing in ngata and perhaps even grady/a de like abraham would let these LBs make plays all over the place like chicagos boys do.
i think being healthy and one or two additions would put our D back up into the top 5
-
-
i think he is getting cut, but we might cut him and then sign him again.
-
the fact that they started jp when he wasn't ready, jerked around and benched him and then put him back in, then kept jp in after KC THEN PUT IN KELLY AGAIN(!!) to me shows bad bad coaching.
i don't think these guys know what they are doing, TD has made some not so great moves in player personel and just horrible horrible moves in coaching.
the only guy who has schit the bed worse than TD over the past 5 years is millen in detroit.
td needs to go and so does mm

merry christmas all.
before tcali set me straight and told me that aaron sucks (and tcali was dismissive about it too, which is a bonus, can't blame him tho, must be hard to always be right), i used to think aaron played the run well.
he gets good leverage on his man and makes plays on the edge. the problem is he gets up field so damn much (prolly 60% scheme, 40% his tendency) and gets out of the play a bit.
if TKO was behind him it would still result in a massive hit and a short gain, and some fumbles too.
we miss TKO
-
i used to think aaron was good, but tcali was pretty awesome and smart and showed me he wasn't
he used his dismissive and rude style, which i really liked

we won for the same reason we won a ton of games last year:
D and ST made huge plays.
our D was not overall that great, but Mcgee came up with that last pick and TD
ST was very strong all game and finally broke one
parish is turning out to be a very good punt returner too.
our run game was crap, but our WRs made some big plays too
these points are all obvious, but they do show that we have some talent in some places that can make a big difference, not that we have coaches that should be kept around.
essentially when Mcgee and co. play big time football we win games, inspite of our coaches not because of them.
happy too see the win, but i still want these jerks out of town
-
these coaches are garbage and need to leave
-
yeah yeah, our line has bad talent, but mcnally hasn't done jack and he deserves criticism like all of our crap coaches.
by the by, moulds scored on that last play (he was not down and the ball broke the plane) but useless retard mularky decided to hurry up and run a bad play instead of challanging.
-
i am now officially on the fire mcnally bandwagon.
he sucks
our guys CONSTANTLY have penalties, blown assignments, and a lack of effort.
those last 2 plays had a DT unblocked on a belly run (!!) and had our LG and LT miss their guys on a simply pass rush.
mcnally has schit the bed
-
looks like aaron got his 11th sack this year on 3rd down in our own redzone.
of course tcali taught me that he only gets garbage sacks against bad linemen (like levi jones) so of course i can just ignore that sack.
-
1st we need an all new coaching staff (special teams being the exception)
i'd sign bently and possibley hutch in the offseason. if i don't get hutch i'll grab another guy, possilby an LT.
i see if i can cut and re sign mike williams
draft a day 1, 2nd round at the latest, LT. Draft other OL day one as well.
putting a couple new QUALIT guys on our line will help everyone
Here is your chace to get a Xbox 360
