  1. His stats aren't that terrible. When Eli Manning and Carson Palmer did poorly they'd always say, "Give them time, they'll be great." Where's the respect for JP? His stats through his first 9 starts are better than their's were.

As for Alex Smith, he's doing poorly but I've never heard anyone really criticize him for it. Maybe I'm wrong.

  2. I was just watching NFL Live and Trey Wingo said, "By the way, the Bills will start Kelly Holcomb on Saturday."

*The reason I have a problem with that is because it makes it look like the Bills benched JP. That's not the case, he's hurt.

Also, the ticker on ESPN has said, "Bills QB Kelly Holcomb will start Saturday"

*Don't like it for the same reason I listed above.

The question is, has ESPN ever uttered a positive word about Losman? Or the entire media for that matter? The only pro-Losman people in the media I've heard are Florio from profootballtalk and that Byrne guy from realfootball365. Two somewhat obscure people but at least they have their facts right.

  3. Thanking Mr. Wilson?

"Thanks for taking the fans' money away for the last six years. Can you step on the fans some more Ralph?"

*I'm so sick of you Wilson apologists. He's a nice guy and I thank him for bringing us the team but the bottom line is that he's not a good owner.

  4. Come on, he's got coaching experience and he's a former Bills LB. He took Browning Nagle and the Buffalo Destroyers all the way to the playoffs once. They went like 2-14 like every other year, but the point is, Ray found the sweet smell of the post-season.

(This was a parody post)

  5. Haslett as bad or worse than MM.  Your kidding, right?  Haslett is 55-47, with a playoff appearance, since taking over in NO.  Not a bad record considering the talent he has had to work with.  You can't compare the two.  I am not saying Haslett is the next Belichik, but he blows MM away in the coaching department.  Look what NO has had to go through this year with the Hurricane.  You wonder why players are frustrated on that team.

Haslett had a couple good years and has been nosediving ever since. The guy is a disaster.

  6. Mike Mularkey, Norv Turner, and Jim Haslett. Even Dom Capers' Texans are still fighting hard every week. I didn't used to think Haslett's squad gave up on him until I heard Aaron Brooks' less than supportive quotes about him. Basically, we have one of the three worst coaches in football. For those saying bring Haslett to Buffalo, that would be a disaster. We go from Mularkey to a guy equal or worse than Mularkey.

  7. Not to mention he has knee problems. I have seen him play many times and he does not have the arm Losman does neither does he have the mobility. Losman needs time and help on o-line. We do NOT need another QB.

Montana didn't have the arm either. Leinart hits the intermediate routes and short routes better than Losman. His accuracy is pinpoint. Losman's is under 50 percent.

  8. For those who say Leinart can't throw, did you see his fourth-and-8 throw against Notre Dame? Enough said.

As I said, I'm a huge Losman fan but I just think we have a better chance of winning a title in the future with Leinart. He's like Montana and Brady.

  9. If the Bills get the #3 overall pick and Leinart's still sitting there, do we grab him? I like Losman a lot but Leinart could be the next Tom Brady. I don't think I want my team passing on the opportunity to get a Brady-esque QB. Thoughts?

  10. I did not say they were not a upgrade....but the upgrade is not in the same

sense when he compares them to coaches whose last names end as Parcells

    and Gibbss...

I would rather get a Steve Mariucci (if he gets let go in Detroit).  He may be

able to bring up a Losman/McGahee/Evans combination better.

I don't think he's saying Fassel and Billick are on the same level as Parcells and Gibbs. I think he's saying that Ralph needs to be willing to dish out money to get those kind of people in here. He hasn't done it. We went with 2 bargain assistants as our last coaches and we're 29-43 for it.
