    I liked Rivera but now I'm skeptical. Wouldn't the much-maligned Jerry Gray probably have the Bears' defense near the top of the league too? Look at all their great talent.

    Who's the Raiders' coach gonna be then? Their top 2 candidates were Marinelli and Saunders. Maybe they'll turn to Fassel or hopefully, Haslett.

    Fassel is not going to make a lateral move and leave his friend Brian Billick in Baltimore. The only way he comes to B-Lo is as HC.

    If Bates is going to the Rams could this mean Sherman as Bills HC, and Jauron as DC? I wouldn't rule it out. I'd be totally happy with that even though I want nothing to do with Jauron as the HC.

    Don't jump too hard on them. I tried to apply there and they only accept 1 of every 100 applications. Needless to say, I didn't get the job. I don't know who this writer is but the other Bills writer is usually terrific. This piece by this new guy...not so much.
