  1. Buying tickets and walking out is less effective than not buying tickets.
  2. The no-talent excuse is an enormous copout. Did the Dolphins finish 11-5 and win the AFC East because they're so damn talented? Absolutely not. Did they improve their roster from last year's 1-15 atrocity? Absolutely. Did they improve it enough to the point where they could win 10 more games without proper coaching? God, no. As I see it, Miami isn't a hell of a lot more talented than Buffalo (if at all); they're just better organized and better coached. They have a legitimate identity that they stick with and never waver from. That comes back to coaching.
  3. What the hell kind of logic is that? They didn't keep on winning; they finished 2-8. That's the bottom line. If they'd have finished 8-2, of course there would be a Jauron love fest. I can't fathom your point at all.
  4. I remember a guy named Tom Coughlin who was quite successful in Jacksonville, going 68-60 with four playoff appearances, before being fired there. With the Giants he's finished 6-10, 11-5, 8-8, 10-6 and 12-4 with four more playoff berths. Even before winning the Super Bowl, Coughlin was a consistent success in the league. Jauron, with one anomalous exception (2001), has always been a failure of epic proportions. No comparison whatsoever.
  5. Which is why Wilson has everyone at his mercy.
  6. Jauron's coached eight full seasons in the league; in four of those he went 7-9. Fifty percent of the time, he'll win you seven games. There's a good chance of another 7-9 season if you go by that. Ugh.
  7. The most discouraging thing in that article is what Bmwolf made light of: Wilson's early justification for a decline in season tickets. I guess no matter what people do regarding ticket cancellations, it won't change Wilson's mind; he'll just delude himself into thinking it is 100 percent economy-related. God, help us all.
  8. Phillips: 29-19, two playoff appearances. Worst season: 8-8. Williams: 17-31, zero playoff appearances. Worst season: 3-13. Jauron: 21-27, zero playoff appearances. Worst season: 7-9. No justification for Jauron's return; it's pretty sad that Phillips' worst season, .500, is something the Bills have achieved only twice (in 2002 and 2004) since his departure. 'Tis a joke of a franchise run by an inept owner.
  9. I figured that would be the case this season.
  10. My gut is telling me we should kidnap Jauron, but my gut is also very hungry...
  11. Very true, but I was referring to the present. At this point, Wilson > Davis.
  12. If anything, it worsens matters. A future Hall of Fame, two-time Super Bowl-winning coach gets canned on the very day a career loser is retained by the sham employer he works for. The Buffalo Bills get more embarrassing by the year.
  13. Thank you. The Bills need to accumulate talent, not trade it away. Peters is among the best in the league, so let's trade him away.
  14. No player the Bills bring in this offseason will excite me. As long as Dick Jauron is the coach, they'll never do anything. Sign Haynesworth and Houshmandzadeh if you want; it isn't going to change anything.
  15. Here's hoping season ticket holders take a stand. I've already done that in the past, after the 2005 season. Please, Bills fans, make Wilson's pockets suffer and cancel your seasons. !@#$ this noise.
  16. No. I'm tired of this Greatest Show on Turf crap. Bring in a hardnosed but creative coordinator who emphasizes running the ball at all costs.
  17. So Mangini threw two touchdowns and nine interceptions in the final five games of the season?
  18. Any of these men, please (no point in including Cowher or Parcells)... 1. Martyball 2. Mangenius 3. Russ Grimm 4. Brian Billick 5. Steve Spagnuolo 6. Josh McDaniels 7. Ron Rivera 8. Bobby April
  19. In what way? He appears locally on WKBW's "Sunday Sports Final" every week at 11:30 p.m.
  20. The Dolphins aren't any more talented than the Bills, yet they won four more games. Simply put, there are no more excuses for Jauron.
  21. The last time Wilson fired a coach, 2003 with Gregg Williams, it happened the day after the season ended.
  22. Damn you, Bills fans! Stop caring about who the head coach is going to be! It's not like it'll play a huge part in the franchise's future or anything.
