I'm trying to reserve judgment and stay even-keeled until the real games start, but you're right -- the version of the no-huddle they ran vs. Green Bay was completely pointless and ineffective. Let's hope it gets better.
Wow, you're doing it again. Are you just bad at understanding what you read? Did you notice how I only argued about the San Diego game and didn't say word one about the other performances you mentioned? What does that tell you? I'll spell it out for you: I agree with your point with the exception of the Chargers game.
I'm arguing nothing other than you're completely wrong about the San Diego game. Keep putting words in other people's mouths (or on their keyboards?) to suit your agenda, though.
Did you actually watch the game or that TD pass to Evans? That was an outstanding throw (and a great catch) in a day filled with them. Edwards put it where only Evans could get it. Who cares if it was a 2-yard TD? They all count. You don't go 25 of 30 for 261 yards by accident; it was Edwards' best game as a pro.
I, for one, am thoroughly disappointed in TBD's utter inability to keep me apprised of the Adolf Hitler/Terrell Owens situation. Your lack of coverage regarding such an important matter disheartens and confuses me.
Because a lot of people are immature !@#$s who get off on mocking the uncontrollable shortcomings of nice, talented people like Ellis Lankster. He deserves a hell of a lot better from his team's "fans," that's for damn sure.
The whole thing outrages me.
Uh, Asomugha is the best CB in the game and Finnegan's not that far behind. Basically, you've never heard of the guys on the "best" list, so they must not be that great.
Standing during regular-season games is awesome. I went to the San Diego game last year and I don't think anyone in my section sat unless there was a stoppage for a commercial or the half. It was fantastic.
