    Were the receivers double teamed when Jackson tore New England to shreds last December? I remember a game where the wind was so bad that passing was virtually impossible and the Patriots knew the run was coming, but they still couldn't stop Jackson.

    Don't compare this to the Dallas game. The Bills played far better tonight than they did against the Cowboys.

    The Bulls gave it a hell of an effort, but they need to stop shooting themselves in the foot. Poor special teams and bad penalties killed them in Pitt last year; today it was turnovers. UB is in for a good season. Maynard is impressive.

    Agree to disagree, then, because I like this frying-pan-into-the-fire situation for Week 1. The games mean something now, so let's see what the Bills have.

    I like opening up against the Pats* because at least we might know where the Bills stand at the end of Week 1. If they keep it close, we'll have some hope going forward. If it's a blowout, we'll know the Bills are still crappy and won't have any delusions of grandeur.
