  1. I agree, but I don't think the Bills' management will when it's time to make the decisions. Perry will make a good head coach someplace.
  2. Bob Papa does the play-by-play and Matt Millen is the color analyst.
  3. Cowher said no to all interviews until the season ends. The Bills and Bears have already come knocking, and Cowher has interviewed with neither. As far as the poll question, it's all dependent on how Perry finishes the year. I really like his demeanor and coaching style, and will give him the chance to make this job/team his.
  4. I'd get a big kick out of winning the lottery. That's just as likely as Losman ever leading an NFL team to the playoffs.
  5. Personality-wise, Fassel is nothing like Jauron.
  6. Shanahan, Snyder and Cerrato in one front office = nuclear bomb waiting to detonate.
  7. We'll find out down the stretch when Fewell faces Belichick, an Atlanta team fighting for its playoff life and an Indy club that might be aiming for a perfect record. It's a huge advantage that we play those teams, so we can see how Fewell stacks up against them. If the Bills show fight in those games and actually win one or two, it would go a long way toward Perry keeping the job. If the Bills lie down, on the other hand, it might be time to look elsewhere. It will be interesting, that's for sure.
  8. Pass. I wanted him five years ago, but the shine has wore off. Assuming the last two games weren't a mirage, I'm leaning more and more toward Fewell.
  9. Already been debunked: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...te-for-nfl-job/
  10. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. We won't know for sure for a couple years. Giving up on a project 11 games into his career is just plain stupid.
  11. Nothing like giving up on someone 11 games into his NFL career. Idiots.
  12. The Russell comparison makes no sense.
  13. Uh, Grimm is an offensive-minded coach. And FWIW, my favorite assistant in the NFL. If we can't get Shanahan, I would love a package consisting of Grimm and a football czar to run the show.
  14. Zdeno Chara, Marc Savard, Tim Thomas, Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, Marco Sturm, Dennis Wideman and Derek Morris -- all Bruins who are making big money -- disagree. The Bruins are fifth in the NHL in cap hit.
  15. I am thankful that, despite all the horrible draft picks the Bills have made in recent years, they ended up with a second-round rookie who leads the entire NFL in interceptions.
  16. Shanny should lead the Bills to no fewer than 47 Super Bowl titles. He'd be a bust otherwise.
  17. Don't forget the success of Whisenhunt. Also, I don't think LeBeau was ever given a fair shake in having to coach the Bengals during some of their worst years. All that being said, I want nothing to do with Arians.
  18. Wilson and Brandon. The reason they're not talking to any GM candidates is because, for better or worse, they're trying to lure a big name in to do both. If they hire Shanahan, he's the GM and coach. He's not going to take orders from anyone.
  19. What I'm about to say has nothing to do with Smith's opinions on the Bills: He is one of the worst sports radio hosts I have ever heard.
