  1. Let the Redskins spend all they want. Under Dan Snyder, they have never -- and I mean never -- demonstrated an ability to use their riches correctly. They're a stupid, hopeless franchise run by idiots. I know Shanahan is there now, but you know why Denver fired him? Because he racked up $29 million in wasted cash on terrible free agent signings. Pat Bowlen couldn't take his haphazard spending anymore. How you draft is a hell of a lot more important than signing FAs.
  2. His accuracy is pathetic. Do not want.
  3. The NFL should be embarrassed that its overtime is the way it is. It's completely unfair and senseless that each team is not guaranteed a possession.
  4. Team Russia is clearly an overrated joke. Their coach couldn't make adjustments, Nabokov played one of the worst games I have ever seen from a goaltender, and their team defense was atrocious. How that garbage-pale team was ever favored to win anything is beyond me. They suck. Canada better be ready for Sweden. They're gonna play a hell of a lot better game than Russia did.
  5. This is a stunning blow. I remember a few weeks back someone made a comment about the Bills needing an RT, and I snarkily asked, "Brad Butler retired?" Amazing that he now has, but good luck to him. I always liked Butler.
  6. "You're hung up on some clown from the '60s, man!"
  7. The Swiss can't handle America's power forwards (Ryan, Backes, Malone with the goals). The rout is on.
  8. I infer from this that you don't think Willis is part of the solution in San Francisco. I hope not, because that would be awfully dumb. After all, he's arguably the best linebacker in the NFL. McClain isn't going to be Willis, but he'll more than likely be damn good. The Bills need damn good players. They're lacking in that category.
  9. The 49ers' D-line was sweet when they drafted Patrick Willis.
  10. I have no problem with the Bills being ranked 30th, but for LaCanfora to say he likes the old coaching staff more than the new one is just !@#$ing stupid. Simple as that. Dick Jauron has always been a loser. Chan Gailey has won wherever he's gone, evidenced by an overall record that includes just one sub-.500 season out of 11. Jauron has eight losing seasons in nine as a head coach. Therefore, a staff with Gailey at the top >>>>>>>> a staff led by Jauron.
  11. Sullivan is absolutely clueless (or stuck in an earlier time period) if he thinks Casey Hampton is the best NT in football. No way. I'd still like the Bills to sign him, of course, but he isn't the premier NT in the sport.
  12. Simply put, you're absolutely lost if you want to spend a top 10 pick on a 34-year-old, especially one with a fairly extensive injury history.
  13. Fantastic move by the Bills. It now appears they have a GM succession plan in place.
  14. Yes, because I'm sure the players care about playoff tickets being sold. It's an 82-game season. There are peaks and valleys. Get a grip.
  15. Incorrect. The Browns brought in ex-Colts and Giants GM Ernie Accorsi, who advised them to hire Gettleman. Gettleman happens to be my No. 1 GM choice. I've read up on him quite a bit and it was indeed Accorsi -- not Wolf -- who recommended him to Cleveland.
  16. Vick truly is a classic sociopath. He completely fits the profile, and this quote proves that even further.
  17. No. Ruskell drafted one Pro Bowler, Lofa Tatupu, in five years.
  18. Give me some of the terrible decisions Fewell made against the Jets. He coached a fine game. And maybe his defense blows because management gave him little to work with, especially at linebacker? P.S. The defense still only allowed 19 points. The train wreck offense lost this game.
