  1. Ok. Lucky me they found a rap song I like! If they went with "Gucci gang" I would have had to find another team to root for til that was over :/ Now if they take it to the next level, they would be the Burglars. Maybe next year.
  2. I liked that! Is that a song they stole from someone? That whole video doesn't have the corny amateur feel to it that Bills promo stuff does.
  3. Ah ha! Happless slipped up and spilled the beans. The mystery deepens. Could the bumbling geologist and his glamorous wife be a beard for Jon BonJovi and his investment group?? Maybe Russ Brandon started to ask questions and had to be eliminated.
  4. So, you don't recall that they fired half of the entire football operation before Beane ever got here. The General manager, the directors of the pro and college player personnel, and the entire scouting department, plus more, all fired, even when it is written down for you to see in the Op's post. You don't recall it. You don't recall it from then. You don;t recall it from the original post. And you still don't recall it after I said you should have read the post. Then you post and say, it wasn't unusual and still disagree. Now you ask why I am confused. That is why I am confused.
  5. You dont seem to be reading. Many of the changes happened before Beane was even hired. So it can't be that their confidence in Beane lead them to it, because he wasn't even here. Like, they couldn't have fired Whaley because of being confident in Beane could they? Beane was hired to fill Whaleys job, after they had fired Whaley.
  6. I think a lot of what is written in here is the story that was told to the public by one bills staff. It is exactly that with no real skepticism. Looking at it my way I see: Marrone came in and many front office staff did not like him because he wanted to control and change things. This leaked out. He had friction with Whaley to the extent that there was an argument in public in camp. When he left it was kept no secret that many at One Bills drive were glad to see him go. Rex Ryan came in and it was soon leaked that he was another one that butted heads with long serving staff at One Bills drive. He too had friction with Doug Whaley. It was made clear that staff at one bills drive thought him a clown and a buffoon. He got fired and it was made plain that many brass at one bills drive were glad to see him go. Sean McDermott came in and fired Everybody, including his boss Dough Whaley. Oddly, nobody reported anything about if Doug got along with McDermott or not. The old brass at one Bills drive aren't complaining any more. It is not clear how they feel about Sean McDermott or his ways of doing things or his personality or if he is a clown or not. No one asks them because they all got fired. Sean McDermott remade the team how he wanted it with nobody resisting and undermining and leaking, and won the first playoff berth for the team in 17 years.
  7. He did. He worries me a bit because he looks worn down and on edge. I hope he gets in a nice 2 week vacation somewhere far away.
  8. But as he said. it IS unusual for Buffalo. Also it is next to unheard of in the entire NFL for a rookie head coach to come in and do all of that. Rookie coach comes in, fires the GM (in essence). Can you think of a single example of that ever having happened on any team at any time? If not, why are you in here saying it is normal?
  9. No they would not. Only obligated if there is more to it than what we have been told. This is really twisted up now! Why? Because Brandon's brother is the team lawyer! Wow what a predicament.
  10. Ok. But the remarks you are making these past couple of days do not stand alone. If these things were well known for along time, the Pegulas would have to have known. The do background checks on draftees for Pete's sake. They didn't look into this fellow before handing him the keys to their kingdom? Something doesn't add up. I am guessing that it never will add up. But it is odd to me.
  11. Nobody ever gets held responsible. It wasn't Whaley, it wasn't Brandon. It was never the president or the GM. It was always somebody else. But it never is said who. Excpet Rex Ryan. But he was here for 2 years only.
  12. That is all I know. It was a tweet by some obscure guy with a twitter alias. the key thing was he said it like 3 weeks ago. It could be a coincidence it was supposedly on April 4.
  13. Unusual that the coach can "wall off" his part of the company from the President and managing partner. All I can add is there was a tweet in early April that McD and Brandon were seen shouting at each other in the box at a Sabers game.
  14. Gee no. I was going by Kim's account. I didn't just make that stuff up. I will indeed. But what victims? All we got is one supposed relationship here. What is the real story do you know?
  15. Yes I see what you did. I hate you I hate you! :[ If I buy a good boat though Toronto is only about 50 minutes from me across the water. I could live with it if they have camp near enough the water that I can get there easy from the docks.
  16. It is exactly like that. Even worse because she herself hinted that he hired her because he was charmed by her. It is just that the rules were different then. It wasn't considered automatically predatory for Terrence Pegula to do that if she was agreeable as well, which she obviously was.
  17. A lot of teams do. But none of them are in the position of needing to draw from cities 150 miles away to fill the stands. (Rochester 70, Syracuse 150)
  18. The buses are the city's fault really. The Bills did have big, new, air conditioned city transit buses. But some weenie somewhere figured out that was against the rules to hire those buses. Which is how we all wound up on school buses sized for children :/ I would rather McDermott stay there too if he wants to so bad. But keep camp at Fisher!!
  19. This isn't timing but the story about leak of the owner's player's meeting was. Hands down that was timed to get snowed under by the draft.
  20. Don't forget, Russ's brother is still an attorney for the team. Now the Pegulas will learn a bit late in life, why that was such a bad idea. Very awkward.
  21. Taking on all that responsibility permanently is a VERY big decision to supposedly make in 24-48 hours. So to me it seems like it is either an ill considered decision made suddenly in the heat of a crisis. Or it was planned and thought about for a good long while before this. It is just rather unusual and sketchy to me.
