Jerry Sullivan: Ralph Wilson Was A Cheapskate
BadLandsMeanie replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jerry has a very well earned reputation as a complete jerk. He made low down pole cat stinky belly crawling worm of a man personal insults for years and years. Just thought that was worth a mention. I wonder if ole' Josh Barnett will pop into this thread at any point? Well, I don't think that is a rule exactly. But I guess it is true. You got your Hitler, Mao, Stalin, and so on. But usually it isn't about some guy who owned a football team, if you understand me. -

The Buffalo News has jumped the shark. That being said, here is a poem by me! It is called "OJ" OJ Through blood and pain and bone and gristle, the Buffalo News gives his butt a kissle. -
Why would Jackson take the Wonderlic test and not - -
BadLandsMeanie replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I glanced at it. The thing is that I know A LOT about intelligence tests. Most are very fallible. The Wonderlic more so. I am not some big expert on it but I can tell you NOBODY can refute me about my criticisms of this test and intelligence tests in general because I know the facts. The facts are what I base my opinion on. But they are way too complicated to relate here so I was trying to sum up in a quick quip of truth. But maybe I should just be quiet. I guess I will because ain't nobody going to believe me and I seem to have trouble getting my point across. So I will say the one basic idea I was trying to express one more time and then I will stop. Let's say I design an intelligence test. I get it all ready to go and test everybody here, and the results turn out that I am the stupidest person on the board. Now some or all of you posters might agree and you might highly esteem a test that shows me so accurately. But for me, I am going to know that means something is wrong with it. I am going to change it and refine it until it becomes a test that measures people like me as being pretty smart. That is just human nature. Anyway, year after year I have to look at those results being bandied around as factual measures. When I know that even much more highly developed tests taking hours are fallible. But this 12 minute test that has nearly no chance of being a quality measure gets talked about like it is a scientifically accurate device. And I know that a high or low result will follow a player forever. It gets annoying for me. But I can't stop it so I will just shut up -

Well you can ready every word I said. Plainly I did not say or assume that. Also when I said professors, I wasn't picturing a sex or a color, just a job. Sometimes though with something I have thought about a lot, I forget to include conclusions because they seem a part of it to me. What I should have included was to say that being smart is not the same thing as if somebody would make a good professor. The measure is invalid in that way. And I know with the constant focus on it in media etc it seems like I am the different one. But legit, my mind didn't even register between black and white on that list. I just don't think that way. Not because I am on some moral higher plain. But when you know so many people of so many different ethnicities as I happen to know, your mind doesn't sort them along those lines because really it is of no use. It doesn't tell me anything. It is hard to explain unless you are in the circumstance but I actually have to focus and think about who I know is is what on that dimension. But I think it is the usal thing for people who know a lot of different ethnicities. Like my one friend said to me one time "You don't even see it".(race) That's the weirdest thing anyone has said to me in a long time. Stay away from me. -
Wonderlic test scores of 2018 NFL Draft QBs leaked
BadLandsMeanie replied to Mopreme's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, at least we can all be confident that with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, that no cheating takes place. No clerk, however poor, would ever take a penny to leaks the answers to somebody, because that would be very wrong. -

BadLandsMeanie replied to Punt75's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can address that for you a bit if you like. College professors and the like make tests like the Wonderlic. The object being to show how smart you are. Right? What do you suppose the odds are that the professors would end up with a test that shows them to be morons? It is zero. There is no chance of that happening at all. So the tests will automatically wind up being measures of things that bookish introverts know. Everybody who has some life experience knows there are different ways of being smart. We even have the word "book smart" for somebody who knows a lot of facts, but maybe seems incapable in other more practical life skills. -

http://www.khmer440.com/k/2013/07/7-reasons-why-you-really-shouldnt-move-to-cambodia/ "Lately, there have been a lot of Westerners moving to Cambodia or making plans to move to Cambodia. This is partly due to the difficult job market in many Western countries, and it’s partly due to Cambodia becoming a more “mainstream” destination for tourists and expatriates. Some of the recent interest in Cambodia has come from Westerners living in Thailand. Rising prices in Thailand and stricter Thai visa regulations have already contributed to a noticeable influx of shifty-eyed, tattooed sexpats creeping across the border into Cambodia. Fortunately, a lot of those dudes haven’t made it past Sihanoukville." Interesting fun read in that link. Anyway, how does one follow the draft in other parts of the world I wonder? How much news lag is there? We will know as it happens thank goodness. -

I ain't the one who moved around the world to live in a country that has sex slaves is all I'm saying. You seem defensive. Sorry about my "thickness" but had you asked I could have told you, this here board ain't Harvard. As for your insinuations, from my point of view it is others who are obsessed with race. None of Tyrod's game performance, which by the way I have watched for 3 years, seems to enter into the balyhoo of the accusers. It is YOU GUYS who can't seem to de-focus off his skin tone. You don't understand, you don't understand, you don't understand, you say. Ok fine, you don't understand. Get a t-shirt. make a bumper sticker. But you not understanding doesn't make me a racist. And frankly it seems more like you REFUSE to understand more than you don't. So I could say things like, who is the most popular current Bill? It is Shady. I could say who is the majority favorite Bill for at least the last ten years? Fred Jackson. But that will be different in some way so that the obvious implication of that, which is WE DONT CARE WE WANT TO WIN, won't matter and you will carry on, and on. I will go so far as to say even if some Bills fan was a racist, they wouldn't care if the guy would win. Tyrod can't throw. We supported him for 3 years and the man can't throw. From your BS and that of the press one would expect that whole Black community feels like Tyrod is getting jobbed. Oddly not one of my Black friends who is a Bills fan thinks that. What do they think? He can't throw. Just like me. Further Bills games are the most inclusive cross ethnic cross gender event that I know of. EVERYBODY goes. And we are all Bills fans when we are there. So bring on your slander Cambo Rambo, I will sling it right back just like you deserve. And if Allen can throw we will LOVE him. I do admit though, if Rosen comes, we will hate him no matter what, because he is a Jew. -
QBs, NFL Draft, Identity Politics (New Poster)
BadLandsMeanie replied to CamboBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Then why did you raise the issue of "identity Politics"? Why did you elaborate about your living circumstances and your opinions of the place, and your vacation destinations? You raised these issues not me. You related them to football, not me. So I am following along with the narrative and discussion that originated with you. Just a snippet about Cambodia before I return to Tyrod. I won't put it here for reasons of decorum, but just a tiny bit of research shows that the exploitation of young southeast Asians is also prevalent in Cambodia. (unlike you said). Also just a snippet from wikipedia about cambodia in general, before I explain why i am mentioning it. The country faces numerous challenges. Important sociopolitical issues includes widespread poverty,[10] pervasive corruption,[11] lack of political freedoms,[12] low human development,[13] and a high rate of hunger.[14][15][16] Cambodia has been described by Human Rights Watch's Southeast Asian Director, David Roberts, as a "vaguely communist free-market state with a relatively authoritarian coalition ruling over a superficial democracy." [17]" I am curious why you would choose to direct your humanitarian instincts to advocate for a young man who will have made around 40 million dollars by age 29. Instead of the circumstances of those around you in Cambodia? What is it about Tyrod that tugs at your heart so? Most would consider him to be in the group at the very top of human experience in terms of looks, physical appearance and gifts, notoriety, and income? This in contrast to those, perhaps outside your very window, who are available for 2 bucks? Teach me oh moral one so that i may learn from you and grow. -

Oh I didn't mean to offend. And I didn't mean specifically you. But as you say even in your reply here, a goodly percentage of Western men fitting your general profile, both tourists and expatriates, do travel there to live outside of laws governing what we here would consider to be depraved behaviors. So in the spirit of your post, which I will paraphrase here : (I am) Not suggesting that [all critics of Tyrol are racist,] expatriates living in souteast Asia are there to exploit the vulnerable, but I am wondering, particularly how your not being in [Buffalo] America for many years, how much [race] sexual depravity and the availability of meagerly paid exploited domestic workers, is a factor in [anti-Tyrod sentiments] your general demographic group deciding to live there. So as you can see I was merely hoping to broaden the open honest dispassionate discussion. Or put another way, if you don't like it, don't start it. You are on to something here. Similar to the baseball stereotypes of can hit the ball, or can pitch the ball. Or the basketball ones of "can rebound or can hit the hoop and score points" Much to be suspicious of here. Even within football itself, no one ever criticizes a running back for being able to run the ball. They only complain when they can not. They do not point out that lack of being able to run with football can be offset by a remarkable ability to pass. It is the glaring elephant in the room about how no one even ever mentions that a running back can not read the defense or throw the ball with accuracy. It is if because most running backs are black, people don't even EXPECT that they can throw the ball. -

Just an FYI readers "friendly locals" = "young women available to old people". Why am I with the attitude you might ask? Because of "Hi, I am the football fan in Cambodia, and lot's of y'all are racists by the way" is why. -

That is just wrong. "Blue Collar" has been use about Buffalo and the Bills for at least 20 years now. So has "lunch pail" Meanwhile none of these players are blue collar, Or carry a lunch pail. They get catered meals. Rosen is no less blue collar or lunch pail than any of them. And you are paranoid to think all of a sudden it is a "code word". -

Small. But look at the videos there are plenty of other fans cheering. And people are embracing it as some sort of trendy activity. The weird thing is , I don't know how they could come up with something that is any less interesting to do, or to watch. Think of the mental level there. Anyway it isn't fair but we will ALL get lumped into that public image. -
