Maybe it doesn't speak well of his personality. You can't say for sure but it might mean something. But do you want another stand up classy guy that the coaches all get along great with, who can't throw? I can't take it any more I want a QB who can do the job just like it is supposed to be done without a lot of excuses. I don't care if he is a little bit of a pain to be around.

I think it is critically important that a quarterback that can't get the job done, has a great personality. For a great quarterback, not so much. Also Rosen has said he won't be a phony to get a job. Wants teams to know who they are getting. So that would be why we have #why.

Like you say, the right side of the line, guard and tackle, are a problem. But for me it wasn't just pass protection. I don't think the Bills could run that way very well either.

Mora has a history of it. He drew attention for a tirade at Rosen when Rosen was a true freshman. He threw his kicker under the bus in a rant when he was coach of the Seattle Seahawks. (the guy made 4 of 6 kicks in that game) For me if I was going ti listen to somebody about how "difficult" someone else is, I would want the person I was listening to not to be difficult. All I know for sure is that Mora is difficlut.

Here is my nightmare. We use the 3 firsts and trade up. We get our guy. But them McCarron goes down. And we put our rookie in and then it becomes plain that we may have made a mistake. He isn't ready, might never be ready, we lose a bunch of games. So the next year we finally get our pick at the top of the draft, but the Giants own it. I wouldn't include next year's first in a trade with the Giants because it will be worth a kings ransom right when we need it most, and it won't be ours..

If I understand this situation correctly, Rosen need to be challenged intellectually. And Mora is intellectually challenged. Do I have that right?

Good picks. You paid through the nose for the Rose, but it wasn't insane I won't fault it. Washington and Jewel are decent picks also but I think you reached on them. Still not bad except I think we need offensive linemen

I prioritized the offensive line because I am sick of ours and I am not sure the guys they picked up are going to be anything special. I would like Shady to be able to run right more. And Also Richie will be gone in a year or two. I bumped Washington down 3 spots. I put in Jewell where you had the tackle because I took one higher. I like your draft I just would emphasize our line. I may have been optimistic where we got some of the guys but there is no way to know for sure.

I haven't seen much about Baker Mayfield. But this applies to everyone. More so to him because he is on the short side for for a QB. They list QB's heights and one major implication is that how tall they are means if they can see over linemen. There is discussion about "throwing lanes" for Mayfield because of this. If you don't know a throwing lane is when the linemen actually block people away from a certain spot, knowing a receiver is downfield of the hole they make. Doing that lets a QB see if the guy is open or not and also reduces batted down passes. Anyway, how tall a man is only tells us approximately where his eyes are. We really don't care where the top of his head is. See the picture. Obviously Rhiana is way better looking. But the point of this picture is to observe the difference in where their eyes are in relation to the top of their heads. The important question is , how tall are their eyes? I bet the NFL doesn't know. I hope not. Because that will finally give me a solid point to support my long standing hunch that the NFL is too inbred. Too many football people and not enough variety in things people bring to the organization. And how the Bills could use a guy like me! And I could write them and tell them to look and see if the NFL doesn't do this as a matter of course. More of interest to those of you who don't give a fig about my hopes and dreams, (everyone here), what if Baker Mayfield's eyes are at the same height as a 6'2" guy's? Then he isn't short any more. Hey Smuv thanks for your thoughtful reply. About your question. Yes that is what I was trying to say. Except that I wouldn't say it is the only reason. But I bet it is a big reason. About your 2 point. I like basketball. So I understand it fairly well and sometimes the pace is slow. But when things start moving fast a point guard has to know where every player on the court is, where he is supposed to go, what the defense is likely to do, by heart and with no huddle except after a time out. He has to distribute the ball or keep it and it all happens extremely quickly. It is a mental moving picture so he can know where everyone is without having to look. To me there is a great deal of overlap between doing that and being a QB. On your third point, to me the discussion on the mater is restricted entirely to if we have a race based difference in ability, or if we have racism. Both I think are agendas from people who are stuck on race or have a philosophy to advance. And neither side is using their full intelligence or even trying to. And everybody else gets stuck in the middle and can't say anything for fear of becoming swept up and accused in one way or another. When I thought about the circumstances in an open way just looking for information and ideas, and not having tunnel vision about football alone but the larger context, is when it occurred to me about where the overlap is between the NFL and other sports that could play a part in directing what talent is available to the NFL pool.

Thanks Foxx. I didn't take it as harsh. I won't say you sugar coated it but it just seemed like the on the level feedback that it was, to me. And yes I was intending to try and avoid saying anything someone could seize upon to try and force the topic into a political one. So I did try to convey the idea rather than spell it out.

Thanks for the reply. My problem with the racial questioning is that it is not a neutral question. And people act like it is. I think you did also. So when someone says like, Oh just asking, but I wonder if you fans are behaving in a racist way? Let's discuss it. That isn't a civil, neutral, reasonable decent thing to say to someone. Especially when you don't know them. That is what I was trying to illustrate to you when I responded with the the thoughts about you being an older male expat in Cambodia. Paraphrasing: "Oh, I wonder if you moved there to exploit human beings? I am not saying for sure that is what you have done. Just that people fitting your profile do that. About Fitz vs Tyrod I don't recall exactly but you should I think go back to board pages of that time and see what was said. I don't recall much difference at all in that people wanted him gone, thought he sucked, don't want him back, but left him alone as far as his personal qualities. The big difference is we fans were not divided over that decision and we have been divided over if Tyrod is good enough much more so. So I think fans have been fighting with each other much more over Tyrod, but I haven't seen much of anything directed at him as a person. And for sure I haven't seen the stuff that was around over "Captain Checkdown" Trent Edwards. Comical YouTube videos and even a song mocking him that was played on the radio. So again I think you and posters in the same line should do more open minded careful research before inquiring and use specific objective examples.

Yeah I am getting the idea that I was too foggy thanks Foxx. Sometimes I think that the way my mind works is the exact same as everyone else which is not true of course. In my head this bit right here said it all, but apparently mostly only to me! To me the answer was "White people". I thought that answer would pop into everybody's head but plainly I was wrong. But I didn't want to write that because it was a sort of punchline and it is a serious post. Plus it is a group statement which any time you make a general statement about groups of people, it is wrong. It can only be mostly right at best.
