For those of you that have purchased replica jerseys, is there an effective way to remove the lettering from the back of a jersey? If it was authentic, it would be much easier to remove the lettering. Any of you done this with a replica jersey? I have a Willis McGahee 21 replica that I would like to change to SPILLER. Any thoughts?

After reading Fitzpatrick's comments regarding TO, I'm still wondering why we didn't resign the guy. Granted, I wouldn't pay him anywhere near what we paid for him last year. However, he was the best receiver on our team last year. Right now, it looks like he'd be the best receiver on our team this year if we had kept him (sorry LEE). Oh well, he's not coming back; therefore, I'll drop it.

There are more things wrong with our team than right. I hate to admit that, but's it's true. However, a few things right with this team are as follows: Chan Gailey, Fred Jackson, Moorman, the Byrd man, & Spiller. There are more good things I can think of, but those few names came to mind as people with upside in our organization.

If Russ Brandon was still running the show at One Bills Drive, I feel we would have traded for Vick and resigned Terrell Owens. In the draft, I still feel we would have taken Spiller. What do you think would have happened?

As much as I hate to admit it, I think the Bengals or Jets are going to Super Bowl 45 this February in Dallas as the representaive from the AFC. That being said, I don't think either team is building for the long haul. I think they're putting all their chips on the table for one big run this season. It begs the question, would you rather our Bills sign big name FA's, etc. for one run at the ring? Or would you rather them build for the long haul, with multiple attempts to get there? The Raiders made that one big run in 2002. They got to the Super Bowl and lost to the Bucs. If you remember, they had Bill Romanowski, Jerry Rice, etc... The Steelers, on the other hand, built their franchise for the long haul and have won a few times over the past few years. Again, which would you prefer as a fan? At any rate, I think it will be the Green Bay Packers vs. the Bengals or Jets in SB 45.

I like the idea of getting Jeff Garcia, that was mentioned earlier in this thread.

For years, I've felt we needed a mobile QB, due to our line. We need someone in the vain of a Steve Young or Roger Staubach that can move around and make things happen. Right now, I don't think any of our 3 QB's fit that mold. The last mobile QB we had was Doug Flutie. Before you start bashing the concept of a mobile QB, remember that this style of QB play took us to our last playoff appearance.

Someone explain to me how LT has been a free man up to this point? His life has been a series of poor decisions he has made. Has no one close to this man confronted him or tried intervention?

One more thing, we need to pray for this 15 year old. How sad! LT is going away for a long time people.

Every year I buy a jersey before the season. This year will be the exception. I don't see anyone on the roster worth buying a jersey for (yet). I'll wait until midseason to see who emerges (probably Spiller). Right now, I'm even considering not buying NFL Sunday ticket this season. That would also be the first time in years. I hope they make me change my mind before the season.

Thanks for having the guts to start a thread on this. Yes, I think we would have been better off keeping Fewell. I feel we were making some positive steps with him at the helm, after he took over for Jauron. I don't see how Gailey was a step up from Fewell. I hope Gailey and crew prove me wrong.

Ahmad Brooks, former DB of ours (during the Bledsoe years), told me last night that we are the best fans in the NFL. He had great things to say about our fan base. Thought you'd like to know that.

I love the part where they ask him the question about did you think about taking a call to trade down from #9. Buddy replied that he's conservative and that he likes things to come to him. He then said something along the lines that he didn't understand how those teams move up or down because he wouldn't be able to remember where he was supposed to draft if we did that. Classic! I said in another thread that I didn't think our front office knew how to trade up or down. I guess I was right.

Ok, how about Ryan Perriloux or Chris Simms as our QB? I'm desperate for a QB right now (see my thread of Jemarcus Russell for proof). I'll even take Mark Bulger. All of the names I mentioned have their issues; however, so does our current crop.
