  1. Think back to your favorite draft day. What 1st round BILLS pick got you the most excited? My first thought went to Thurman Thomas, but I remembered that he was a 2nd round pick, not a first rounder. Taking Thurman out of the equation, the 1st round draft pick that had me jumping for JOY was when we drafted Willis McGahee. I thought he was the next coming of Barry Sanders. My bad! The first round pick that made me want to VOMIT is a three way tie between Donte Whitner, Aaron Maybin, & Erick Flowers. When we took them my first reaction was "WHAT?????" I look forward to hearing your draft day stories. On a side note, the first round pick that I really wanted to succeed was either Antowian Smith or JP Losman.
  2. I wouldn't trust Whitner to run a sno-cone shack. Bring in SANDERS.
  3. Super Bowl 50 will be a historic milestone for the NFL. That got me thinking - where will this iconic game be held? I lean towards Los Angeles (LA COLISEUM or new LA venue). Where do you think the host city will be?
  4. Here is Ralph's most recent quote: "I think it will take two or three years to have a playoff team -- and that's if we get a quarterback." This past October, he said the same thing. If you'll look back a few years, he said it then too. What kind of leader make that kind of statement (in any type of organization)? In the 2012 presidential election, sit back and see if any of the candidates say the following: "If elected, you will start seeing serious progress and change, in two to three years".
  5. I was astounded at the sales of Tim Tebow jerseys last year after the draft. This year, I project Cam Newton as being the jersey that will sale the most. If not Cam, which jersey do you project will make the most $$$?
  6. I wish the NFL hall of fame selection was as rigid as MLB's. You have to be GREAT to be enshrined in Cooperstown. The NFL puts too many people in the hall, in my opinion. Not all of them were GREAT. Some were good, but very few were GREAT.
  7. Shannon Sharpe. I don't get this one at all.
  8. Animation wasn't great at all but the part about how people in the organization probably couldn't run a library was funny.
  9. I thought the dialogue was funny

  11. I am already tired of hearing the so called experts talk about QB Blaine Gabbert. He has done nothing at Mizzou. I would take Newton anyday over Gabbert. Someone explain to me the upside of Gabbert. I'm just not seeing it.
  12. Actually, Gray is the assistant head coach as well at Texas.
  13. I saw a picture of Al Davis from the press conference he had this past week and boy did he look bad. Similar to our Bills, what happens to the Raiders when he dies? Is his family taking over? The Bills and Raiders both are twins in so many ways.
  14. I was thrilled to hear that Jerry Gray got hired by UT this week. He is a great guy and I really felt he did a good job with our defense when he was here. I'm not sure why we let him walk. Of course, there are a lot of guys I feel we should have kept on our staff over the years: Polian, etc...
  15. We the fans have already lost. If we don't have games next year for any period of time, we lose. Also, we lose every week. We the fans pay outrageous sums of money for concessions, tickets, parking, jerseys, NFL Sunday ticket, etc... We lose all of the time. The sad thing is we allow it to happen.
  16. When the lockout officially begins, I'll probably side with the players. However, I'm all but certain the owners will win in the end. We'll see. Let the real games begin.
  17. I highly recommend a book called BAD SPORTS by Dave Zirin. In it, he discusses the issues of ownership in modern sports. If our tax dollars are used to fund stadiums/sports franchises, we must have some say in the way teams are operated is a recurring theme. I really think you will enjoy this read.

  19. The owners are committing professional suicide. It's funny in a way.
  20. I have a friend whose son has duechenne muscular dystrophy. I was excited to see the commercial air during the BCS national championship game tonight. I heard that the NFL and college football have had that commercial running a few times lately in order to educate the public on ways they can help young children find cures so that they can live longer lives. I wish the players and owners would focus more on causes like that than causes like the looming CBA dispute/lockout.
  21. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6004943 Should our Bills enter the sweepstakes for his services?
  22. Since we are about to hit the offseason of college and pro ball, I was curious to see which football team is more important to you.
  23. Yes, he said this before Fitz took off; however, I still think Ralph pulls the trigger on a QB with our first pick. It sells tickets, jerseys, etc... Fitz will be #1 going into the season and asked to groom the QB of the future.
  24. AP (October 11, 2010): Bills owner Ralph Wilson spoke with John Wawrow of The Associated Press on Monday, disclosing three things in the process: he thinks his football team is bad; he think it'll take three years to rebuild a talent-depleted roster; and he calls drafting a quarterback the team's top priority entering the 2011 NFL Draft.
