What I heard him to say was that, if it could work out, it would be St Louis, but that he was looking for a team.... That's afar cry from saying St Louis only??
-
Oh come-on now, what about De Luca?? Not to mention all other JP haters, both of the guys we woulda, shoulda, coulda , in the same game, one of them is bound to win the game....
-
He sure would look good coming out of the backfield catching swing passes from JP...a major improvment over what we have now and like I said, saves a draft pick for that bigtime Rec.'er.
Worthy of a tryout, look see, IMO.......
Cap Friendly...these are all things to consider, just seems to me that he could still win us a couple of games....And you just know he ain't dancin with a first down staring him in the face.......Already knows the offense.....
Hall of Famer, leadership ,class act........
If there's anything left in the tank, he would have to be accounted for, everytime he's on the field???
Still quicker than Willis???
-
I like Marshall Faulk, but I don't think there's much left in the tank there. I think we will kind of be stuck with the backs we have. We have to work on pass protection and improving the line. I kind of like Cory Anderson out of Tennessee in the third round for us as a fullback who can clean up (270 lbs) on pass protection and get short yardage.
I hear ya but, what if the price was right for a year or two and it would save us a draft pick for another position???
Veteran Leadership and the fact we need about 6-10 plays a game, seems to me there has to be something in the tank if he's looking???
-
Listening to the halftime interview sunday night, Bob Costas posed the question to Marshal Faulk regarding the fact that he has not retired...
Marshal's response, "I have not retired and my knee is feeling good, I've started running and always consider myself a Ram and would like to go back there if the situation was right."
"I am looking at all situations and will listen to any offers"......
Willis
A-train
Marshal Faulk- 3rd down back- change of pace- screen pass- veteran leadership- check down game breaker???
With our St.Louis connections, sounds like a possibility he'd listen to an offer from the Bills.
We could use a player of his caliber if there's anything left in the tank, not an every down back, but could play more in a pinch??
Worth a try-out??
Flame Away..........

I just don't watch it, other than casually viewing some of last nights game. I was interested last year when it was a novelty, but quickly tired of it...Bryant Gumbel is unbearable and just plain sucks the big one.. If Cutler wasn't playing I would not have checked the score, period.....As for your question about squeezing out the networks, I have wondered the same thing. I sure don't trust the NFL, they have never seen a 20 dollar bill that they could due without...Greed is a bad thing, and that is a major problem with the NFL.... The new guard owners suck bad and in that respect, I totally support Ralph and any move he makes against them....

Actually they came up pretty big by holding SD to a fumble and then 3 straight punts before giving up the TD drive.....They are young thats all.....
-
What, don't tell me, you drove up from Long Island when we auctioned off that turf we tore up 10 years ago....What a fool you are, even I didn't spend a dime on that stuff and your ass was whooped up and down that old carpet multiple times....
See Ya sunday , we come to play!

Ha Ha Ha, if you come down for the Jets game be prepped to see the Jills get their a$$ whipped. JP the high fivin Louisiana kitty is gonna have rug rash on his knees and you will finally see just how washed up Willis is when his "U" teamate Vilma puts some hurt on him. He may just ruin his knee.......again.
How can you guys let a So.Cal. warm weather kitty team like the Chargers come in YOUR house and beat you like that yesterday!?!?!
How can you guys let the New England Paytoilets beat the crap out of you TWICE!
TWICE you roll over and die to them !?
Watch how that skinny rat Schoebel is handled so easily. The closest he gets to Pennington might be when the game is over and he is congratulating him on a nice game.
Watch how that bottle rocket Evans or the teapot Parrish are taken off the field after Kerry Rhodes (4th round pick ! not #8 like Donte) gives them the hammer.
Watch how Mangold and Ferguson knock your def. line so far into the ground they will be introducing themselves to Jimmy Hoffa. (while reminding you what a dumb pick whitner was)
COME ON DOWN !!!!!!!
He He he, Lets have fun, come on dudes lets hear some trash talk
Big deal you beat the packers yesterday wow !!!! Maybe you should just start your Own thread instead of hiding in another???
-
If Price did that, we would all be very happy today, because that would have been a complete.....
-
And that is the problem in a nutshell right there......He isn't a very smart football player after what 4 years now.....I for one will not be holding my breath waiting for that day to come.....
Looking forward to see who marv drafts next year, to come in and challenge this guy....should be fun to watch...

Has anyone noticed how much better the offense plays in the no-huddle?
The WR's seem to get open, Losman makes great decisions..JP seems much more efficient and a GREAT player when he doen't take his time in the huddle...he goes out, calls the play and relies on his abilities..the offense moves the ball so well
I honeslty think that the Jets game, if it wasn't poring out at the end of the game, Losman would have pulled that game out...
Another thought is that Cielsak should be starting at TE; I hate Royal He can't catch; Everett was a total waste..A TE in this offense needs to be able to catch the ball
S.D. looked better in the first half when they used it also.....sadly it will never win a superbowl........
-
I heard that rating last night and thought I miss understood or something......the turnovers by one guy, that has to be a record????
-
Case #2- With a seven point lead wouldn't they go for two to make it a 9point lead??
-
I guess it's safe to say, if JP played for the Bears he would be at least 10-2, and the pride of Chicago.....

The modern version of Jerry Marcbrite will be there if it is deemed necessary for playoff seeding.

Oh...I see.
But no, that's not my point at all. It has nothing to do with challenging the call and winning it or losing it. It's the fact that Jauron STOPPED the game for 13 minutes. Time kills momentum. You lose it just as quick as you get it. And knowingly pulling your team off the field for 13 minutes when you could have done the same thing with a 3 min break is foolish.
That's what killed the momentum. The time on the sidelines. Not the failed challenge.
But the momentum was really killed when the refs failed to call interference on the next play..
Convert the 3rd down like your supposed to do and momentum is back on.....
Players stand around all the time for tv timeouts...its nothing new.....But I hear what your saying. We lost the game in the first half and dug to big of a hole to climb from .....
I like this team and the coaching, at this point of rebuilding a broken franchise, I just can't get that upset, They play real hard, and right now I can live with some mistakes in the heat of the battle.

Settle down...Deep breaths.
It wasn't like he was giving us the salute ala Cox. And he wasn't mooning the crowd after a TD a la Moss.
The guy is a competitor. It was a big moment in the game, the crowd was giving it to him and he was telling them to be louder -- it doesn't phase him. He was trying to motivate himself and his teammates.
I thought it was great that he did that -- especially since the D stuffed him on that run.
It wasn't disprespectful at all. It's part of the game. God forbid he try to motivate his teammates on the road.
Motivate his teammates....how do you do that when your in the backfield and everybody is getting set ...at least thats what I saw..
-
with the wind, I like the odds and it sure would have helped, To many mistakes today, against a great looking team with alot of talent.
-
They didn't have king cabs back then ----come on.... back seat of the truck????
You guys won't believe this...
