  1. Not off of the cans, they didn't.
  2. 40,000 cans and bottles? NO way. I'll bet that the most ambitious/creative of them make in the $200 range (that's still 4,000 cans and bottles--over 160 cases--to transport), though.
  3. I doubt it too. Makes no sense at all.
  4. He could be eighteen or twenty. Honestly, who the hell understands/watches football before the age of eight, or nine, or ten, other than kids who play little loop? My first REAL Bills memories are of the 1983 and 1984 teams (so ugly, I know), and I was 11 and 12 then.
  5. Wow. I didn't know that part. But it checks out.
  6. It was Snyder who tried to move the team in the first instance, not Brown (to this day, I try not to spend a dime in Snyder's Hyatt on Main St.), and I believe it was to Florida, not San Diego, to which he first tried to move the team. Interestingly, the Braves played a series of games in Toronto to try to broaden the fan base before moving. Brown then got control and actually ADDED talent (Malone) before giving up. And of course, in effect, he didn't move the existing Braves team to San Diego (and then LA); he moved the Celtics. He swapped the entire Braves team for the entire Celts team before the move. I do not think, though, that this is what Wilson is up to. He may not care if the team stays (personally, I think he would prefer that it does stay), but he definitely doesn't care if it goes--he's not doing anything to try to help a move.
  7. Wasn't the cheats' strategy for a while to avoid first-round picks and to stockpile second-round picks? I seem to remember this. Maybe the memory is flawed.
  8. I don't think so. If anything, he hasn't gone Vikings enough. (Just having some fun. I know the mistake was addressed already.)
  9. Agreed on all points.
  10. "fair value" was a choice. the "sky is the limit" that you wrote about also was a choice. why is that retarded? i went with "fair value," why not. it is obviously rebuilding time, and Lee will be past his prime by the time the team is rebuilt.
  11. Everyone needs to memorize this. It's freaking academic.
  12. Two years ago, the Bills were 3-0, and the Chiefs, 0-3. Because of ownership?
  13. Spiller's first game was pretty awesome, too. So was Troup's. I'll bet that this point was made before this post.
  14. Exactly. You'd have to think that Gronk would be starting.
  15. Always loved that. It was the best TD celebration I ever have seen, and ever will see. Just flip it to the backjudge and jog to the sidelines. That has to piss off the opponent more than any stand-at-midfield/TD dance/Lambeau leap ever would.
  16. There would have been one timeout left. Still, the only move is to kick that field goal, once the refs determined it was fourth down at the end of the first half. You have to bet on your defense to not allow a long drive in 20 seconds. I can't believe that the two posters who think differently are sober/sane.
  17. I thought it was hilarious. And it cost the team nothing in the long run.
  18. The problem was the bold part, not the part about kicking the field goal. There wasn't even a decision to make about whether to kick; you kick that ball every time. If there was a boneheaded call--and I think it's a pretty big "if" considering that the team was going to take a shot at the end zone on what it thought was first down--it's the timeout.
  19. Anyone who is a college football fan should be watching this game, and not just for Ryan Mallett, either.
  20. Kick the ball out of bounds and rely on the world-class defense to hold for twenty seconds, and it's a non-issue.
  21. If there's a curse, explain the Patri*ts. They forsook him, too. As did the Bears--they've been to a Super Bowl since (but lost). This whole concept is stupid (not you, OP, but the article you posted).
  22. Sino-Russian scientists have measured Fitz's head, and have compared it to Sputnik. It is exactly the same size, and, more curiously, is the same temperature on the Kelvin scale. Also, both Sputnik and Fitz's head have been autographed by that famous Sino-Russian, Alexander Mogilny.
  23. Usually, when people on the Internet are talking about a "moran," they are referring to this picture: http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/images/blpic-morans.htm It's good stuff. Can't speak for the poster to whom you were referring, though.
