MSM might as well be called bluestate dot com, but they're fine to quote, right? -
Slavery Ended 150 years ago. GET OVER IT!
CarpetCrawler replied to StHustle's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
"but black people understand cash." Really? That sounds racist to me, are they unable to understand stocks and bonds, deferred taxes, commodities markets, mutual funds? Only cash, huh?? There's something simple enough for black folk to understand. -
51st State? DC Statehood Is Happening!

I think Puerto Rico might have something to say about that, Guam too for that matter. D.C. is way down the list. -

It had to be from Krypton. -
I work for the State of NY, it takes 12 weeks to requisition a new pencil sharpener FCOL, and always with the excuse, "Well you know Albany." But Cuomo can create a new holiday over night when it's politically expedient for him to do so.

Good analogy and I hadn't thought of that before I posted. My reaction was really pointed more at Nadler's seemingly knee jerk reaction to investigate anything Trump does. -
Thomas Sowell - Quote of the Day
CarpetCrawler replied to dubs's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Freedom has cost too much blood and agony to be relinquished at the cheap price of rhetoric. -Thomas Sowell Too much of what is called 'education' is little more than an expensive isolation from reality. -Thomas Sowell Mystical references to society and its programs to help may warm the hearts of the gullible but what it really means is putting more power in the hands of bureaucrats. -Thomas Sowell Life in general has never been even close to fair, so the pretense that the government can make it fair is a valuable and inexhaustible asset to politicians who want to expand government. -Thomas Sowell Although the big word on the left is 'compassion,' the big agenda on the left is dependency. -Thomas SowellRead more at https://www.brainyquote.com/authors/thomas-sowell-quotes_3 -
Definite food for thought, I mean I always figured Antifa was a tool of the swamp.

Come on, every book I ever saw her in showed her sitting on her white privilege tuffet, keeping her eletist curds and whey all to herself. The spider is black, so obviously she is racist and should be shunned for her reaction to run away from black organisms instead of redistributing her wealth to them. The Three Stooges

Actually the term he used was "Trumlet" so I don't know what the definition of trumplet has to do with this? -

It looks to me like he's flicking a booger. (oh no, am I going to lose my job for saying booger??) -
There could be some projection going on here. The Democrats are hoping to steal the election by sending out millions upon millions of mail-in ballots to people who are deceased, have moved away or are ineligible to vote, knowing that law-abiding Republicans who come across them won’t send in fraudulent ballots, but Democrats will. This is sheer fantasy. It is ridiculous to assert that President Trump may refuse to vacate the White House if he loses November’s election, and until now, no presidential candidate of either party would have floated such a scurrilous suggestion. But for the Democrats, there are no longer any boundaries. They are desperate for power and will devastate our country and destroy our democracy to get it. That was one of the first loads of bullcrap they tried dumping on Trump when he was newly elected. Once he got in the White House he would never give it up without military intervention. I guess it's part of the Green New Deal, recycling fake news rather than just discarding it and making up new lies.

OOOHHHH, another cooking thread, I love those. I bet that would be great on a delicate white fleshed fish like Dover Sole.

Bravo Mr. Prager, I never heard so much sense in such a short talk.
