This post summed it up very well. A more effective offensive line would certainly help WM's numbers. The quarterback position is on the rise. What do the Bills need? Offensive linemen who can run and pass block, together. A consistent pass rush. A tight end that can catch, run and block. And a healthy Takeo Spikes!!! Get well soon!!!

If Ana is supposed to be hated by all then she and the story creators are certainly pulling us in. Who likes her? Most everybody wants to see Ana get what's coming don't they? So she may be over the top. I think this second group is traumatized by the crash and the demise of a sizable number of their survivors. I expect we are being set up for a softer side of Ana or at least a back story that better explains why she is like she is, such as was revealed in last weeks back story of Shannon. I see Ana accelerating her dominant behavior such as having the nerve to take over the "tent" that Sayid created for Shannon. I also expect Ana to show limited remorse for shooting Shannon. Ana will not go too soft as it would take the steam out of the drama.

For old times sake they should line up in the remnants of Balboa Stadium behind San Diego High School and settle it there! With the throwbacks of course!

Thanks for the info Jack! It makes a lot of sense!

This is what I ran into... Posting new topics and replying When making a post, you will most likely have the option to use IBF code when posting. This will allow you to add various types of formatting to your messages. For more information on this, click the 'BB Code Help' link under the emoticon box to launch the help window. On the left of the text entry box, there is the clickable emoticons box - you can click on these to add them to the content of your message (these are sometimes known as 'smilies'). There are three options available when making a post or a reply. 'Enable emoticons?' if this is unchecked, then any text that would normally be converted into an emoticon will not be. 'Enable signature?' allows you to choose whether or not you would like your signature to appear on that individual post. 'Enable email notification of replies?' ticking this box will mean that you will receive e-mail updates to the topic, see the 'Email Notification of new messages' help topic for more information on this. You also have the option to choose a post icon for the topic/post when creating one. This icon will appear next to the topic name on the topic listing in that forum, or will appear next to the date/time of the message if making a reply to a topic. If the admin has enabled it, you will also see a file attachments option, this will allow you to attach a file to be uploaded when making a post. Click the browse button to select a file from your computer to be uploaded. If you upload an image file, it may be shown in the content of the post, all other file types will be linked to.

I have noticed that some of you are able to attach images to your posts but I do not know how this is done. I tried searching in help and they said something about needing an attachment upload feature to be turned on. I am getting the sense that this is permitted only some of the time? Otherwise, how do I post an image? This is old hat for some of you but the rest of us (or maybe just me) are lagging! Thanks for the help!

He can be a Netten Yahoo... And he can be offensive. However, there is a unique power when taking the high road. Violence is an ugly price. Free speech as on this board, can be quite offensive at times and it certainly attracts it's share of Netten Yahoos but free speech can be a beautiful thing. Concordia is an interesting school in how it is tucked away in centre-ville. Lots of ladies...

I believe that there are some that still have the lockout hangover whereas others like myself are just glad to see professional hockey again. I like some of the changes, like the wide open game but I don't like others such as not having the Sabres visit out on the West Coast. I am glad to see Sidney Crosby. Once the rest of the league sees Crosby a few times it certainly should boost overall attendance. He had this give and go, two on one breakaway goal off of a Lemieux pass against the Islanders the other night, it was simply incredible. Maybe I got the wrong take on recent matters in France but I thought it had more to do with the frustrations of the poor boiling over? Those sort of confrontations have happened in many countries, many times in history. You guys are all over the place! It is cause for concern as there are people all over the globe who can take these riots as an invitation for their own riots. Remember the Rodney King beating aftermath? Soon after things first blew up at Florence and Normandie in L.A., similar unrest ignited in cities all across the nation. And much of the rationale for that unrest had to do with opportunists wanting an excuse to pillage in addition to those who were genuinely frustrated economically. Rodney King was one reason for the riots but for all too many they could care less about Rodney King. I bring this old story up because as some of you are suggesting, sometimes things are done for less obvious reasons. The riots in France originated in some very poor neighborhoods. The U.S. has a large number of poor neighborhoods, ex: L.A., Philadelphia, Miami, Washington D.C., NYC, Boston, Detroit, etc. Similar riots could happen again in the U.S. and also in Canada. The violence at Montreal's Concordia University a few years ago was a hint of what exists under the surface for some sectors of that population. All people need to revolt is a reason. Any reason. And look out if it spreads.

I believe that his name was switched from Moore to Rashad before he was a Bill. I went to sleep before the game was over. George Blanda missed a field goal attempt near the end of the game.

One time I was at UB's Amherst Campus waiting for a bus when these two deer came running out from the dorms in the back of the campus. They split up and one started running along on the sidewalk near the library. This deer kept hoisting itself into the library glass as it ran along until it knocked itself dead. The only other person at the bus stop was Asian with little or no English skills. All we could do was look at each other with WTF looks. Ten minutes later a truck pulled up and they scooped up the dead deer like it was routine.

Truly a sad story but hopefully it can help people come forward and improve their skills. Illiteracy has too many people hiding in unnecessary shame. There is help and there are people willing to help.

How Do You Get Over Losing Big in the Stock Market
Spun replied to DC Mom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Investing in stocks is always risky. One problem is how people get their info, i.e. friends, relatives, someone I met. Also, try not to invest / gamble based on emotion. Be patient and do your own research along with using a reputable advisor. Read and learn about technicals and fundamentals which can be dry and boring but very important. The business school basics of ROA, ROE and EPS can be very helpful. Diversify with some bluechips and consider long term and short term holdings. One thing that I have learned to do is holding on to cash and not buying any stocks at all. A mistake that I have made in the past is buying a stock because I had money available. The discipline of not buying and not needing to buy helps me make smarter decisions. Sometimes sitting on the sidelines can be beneficial as you may be able to identity an opportunity that you would not have been able to experience otherwise because you jumped too fast on what ended up being a dog. Many investors have had their share of mistakes (including me). 401ks and Roth IRAs are alternatives. And depending on where you live, investing in real estate will continue to be wise. If you are minimizing debt and saving cash, don't kick yourself for missed opportunities. If you sell a stock for profit that later appreciates, you made money! You have worked hard for your money, baby it. I hope this helps! -

I am not in any way content with our nation's response of exacting revenge on those who are responsible and alive. And I suppose I won't ever be content with the response. Throwing bin Laden into the population of commoners at Attica would help... 9/11 victims are not forgotten.

The Braves still periodically come up in this forum. It goes to show that fans do not forgive and forget especially when it come to franchise shifts and hijacks, as in the case of the Braves. I am bitter and will remain so about what happened to the Buffalo Braves. The NBA lost me forever. Let the Clippers wear the jerseys. Maybe someone, somewhere, will learn a little history about who loses in franchise shifts. (Pay attention New Orleans Saints fans). As for the link, the Braves jersey featured is # 42. Who was #42? Bueller? Anybody? I was in Montreal this summer and I saw one kid wearing a Braves jersey and later I saw another one wearing a Pistons jersey with McAdoo on the back. For those who wish to have a little more information as to what happened to the Buffalo Braves check out this link (notice how badly things started to go about 1975-76): http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/nba/buffalo/bufbraves.html

I doubt it. It sounds like an urban legend to me. If you can find a two dollar bill put it under the microscope. Otherwise, this may help: http://www.snopes.com/business/money/redensign.asp
