I flip through the radio stations hoping to get hockey scores while driving home from work late at night. While I understand the SoCal stations not giving more than Ducks and Kings scores, it is amateurish for ESPN radio to shaft listeners by not reporting the NHL scores.

I am at the gym while reading all these posts and this guy walks in who looks like Mr Eko. Scary looking dude. Didn't have the stick. I am wondering when "The Others" and Rousseau will show up again. Didn't Michael have a thing for Sun? What is up with that horse? Why (seemingly) was Shannon the only one to see Walt back on the island? Or was she hallucinating? Or has anybody else seen it? If there is someone else communicating with Michael via the computer where are they? It may not be Walt.

I have been there for a World Cup game two years ago. I scalped a $40 ticket for $20. I was in the nose bleeds. It is steep terrain up there. I didn't have any problem with seeing the game. It is as you would expect, you can see the plays develop but you can't see the facial expressions nor hear the expletives (other than the locals). I went to the Bell Centre last September to get a schedule right after they resolved the lockout bs. They didn't have full schedules yet but from talking to people even single tickets were going fast. So I would be happy just getting a ticket. I don't know if breaking the bank is worth it. Nor is it worth it paying $7 for a small draft beer. In any case it should be a great experience especially if the Sabres win. The Bell Centre is located in the downtown district (Centre-ville) which is close to the nightlife, restaurants, metro, etc. The old Forum is much further down St Catherine St. and now holds movie theaters, restaurants and shops.

Thank you Denver! The Chowds' can go away now. Come back in about another one hundred years. Don't like you, don't want you. Scram Chowds'.

This whole series of events since the last game seems to have been handled like it was the first time that the Bills have ever had to replace their GM and Head Coach. It is great for the media as it has become quite the soap opera. However, I wonder what the players are saying amongst themselves.

Or due disrespect?

I was very surprised that he wasn't interviewed the last time the Bills were looking for a head coach. I don't what he did wrong. Didn't he get fired from the Falcons the same year that Vick broke his leg?

Burp.

There is zero chance that Tressel would leave a dream job at OSU for the Bills coaching vacancy. Zero. College football has something that ensures constant winning for big name programs - recruiting. Why would he leave when he is having the success that he currently enjoys. Money, fame, challenge? He doesn't need it. By the way, John Cooper is gone. Deal with it.

What about stats in Super Bowls? Irvin: XXVII 6 receptions 114 yards 2 touchdowns XXVIII 5 receptions 66 yards 0 touchdowns XXX 5 receptions 76 yards 0 touchdowns Reed: XXV 8 receptions 62 yards 0 touchdowns XXVI 5 receptions 34 yards 0 touchdowns XXVII 8 receptions 152 yards 0 touchdowns XXVIII 6 receptions 75 yards 0 touchdowns They both played their roles in the big games. Irvin didn't need to produce more as everything seemed to be working for the Cowboys especially Moose and the o-line clearing the way for Emmitt Smith, Aikman and well, the Bills and their turnovers. Reed has historically been singled out by some analysts as having been "taken out of the game" by the Giants. Reed's stats in XXVII are impressive but I seem to remember that a good portion of this came when the game was already decided. I do agree that when assessing one's career and their HOF worthiness, the Super Bowl(s) are secondary. But then again aren't the playoffs also secondary? Then shouldn't that make Warren Moon a little more worthy? Super Bowl Boxscores: http://www.superbowl.com/history/boxscores

I strongly agree. The opinion was replayed over and again that the key to stopping the Bills was stopping Thurman Thomas. This perspective was voiced by opposing coaches, players, the media and fans alike. Thurman should go in 1st ballot, no doubt about it.

Former LA Rams WR Jack Snow dead 1/9
Spun replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jack Snow and Roman Gabriel were a very good combination. It is a shame what was done to L.A pro football. But, if and when they get another team, they should earn it the expansion way not by thieving from another city. The '70s Rams were fun to watch and very competitive. Thanks for the memories Jack Snow! -
One option might be to donate via a money order therefore preserving your anonymity. I like to donate to charities but I also do not like to be swarmed!!!

Some of you are very up on when and what they are showing. I couldn't get home on time last night. Does anybody know if and when this episode will be repeating? It was a two hour episode or two one hour episodes? I don't want to read the main Lost thread to spoil it. Hopefully it was a good one! Much obliged!!!

I could have used that before I signed up for the do not call list. The only undesirable calls that I get nowadays is for surveys and the Red Cross for blood donations. I do donate so I cut the Red Cross a break. What I really need is to counteract the spammers by getting them as they get me. I have gotten some of their e-mail addresses and what I do is send them photos from www.rotten.com such as the roadkill photos or the dog and pig getting it on pix. I know that they probably don't receive my spam but the thought of one or two getting through is satisfying enough! I understand people needing to work but at the rate that I used to get those calls and all the times they woke me up, I certainly do not miss the intrusions. For those who don't vote, remember it was elected officials who put into law the legislation allowing for the do not call list. Job well done!!!

I believe that in one of the earliest games of the inaugural 70-71 season, Crozier faced something like 72 shots in a game. It may have been a 7-2 loss to the Leafs?
