It is possible that each of these players may have crested. And possibly through the draft and free agency a new wave may compensate for the losses. NC - money requested and paid was ridiculous. TS - great player, I am so glad he played for the Bills and he was worth it. The future is unknown. He can still produce. WM - grow up on someone else's dime. LFB - great, solid consistent effort, probably underappreciated, sorry about the bad feelings but then again there is the draft and free agency to provide new stars. I have faith in the Bills brain trust and anticipate a productive draft. Let this coach and GM pick their own people. It may work. Keep the positives and delete the others to the bulk folder.

I know this is really controversial in some circles but just as California needs New York's cell phone law, New York needs California's Three Strikes law. I realize New York is in shaky financial times but the street crime has gotten past the point where people need to be their own police force. Three Strikes isn't perfect but it helps as a deterrent. I also support the teachers. And the cops. Talk about important, gutsy, underpaid and underappreciated professionals. What I find so impressive is that this teacher still wants to teach at Grover. People scream and holler about opportunity. But what about the opportunities that are currently available and currently squandered (publicly funded education, teachers, textbooks)? Quit making babies you can't afford, start using your libraries and quit making excuses. I need a Red Bull. -
Not again! It is time for the beach ball picture again! And soon we can get Andrew Peters teeing off. Gordie, catch the beach ball!

I agree! This past episode was eventful. I always thought Locke was in a car crash in which someone worked his brakes. Ben and Locke are certainly in a chess match. It got me wondering why Walt with his "powers" isn't somehow in the script, wherever he is in the world. As for Locke's Dad, isn't it possible that he was on the other part of the plane, stalking Locke in order to finish him off and escape at the same time? I don't know if I buy this magical box yet. Jack's a wishy-washy wimp. Yet he still has the choice of Kate, Juliette or... both! Juliette is a little creepy, I don't trust her. But half the cast is creepy! My favorite characters are Danielle and Desmond. It seems like anything is possible with them. Nice work with the art connections Dr Dank! There is nothing wrong with deep analysis UConn! That was quite a body check thrown by Locke's father! That might merit a suspension in the NHL!

At some point Meazza might post on this as he lives in Montreal. I visit Montreal every summer for their film festival. Summer is a very cool time to be in Montreal. It is starting to thaw right now in Montreal so the ladies will be out. I must add that Montreal women are elegant and sexy. But they smoke way too much for me. But you'll work with it! The Sheraton is walking distance from the Bell Centre, Crescent Street and Chez Parée. I am not a big fan of Crescent Street. Rue St. Laurent is better for bars and restaurants but there is a maturity problem with tons of "first year" students learning their way in regards to drinking (drinking age is 18). Some of the bars are "draft beer served in plastic cup" places while some others are more classy. You should be able to tell the difference just by seeing how people dress. Rue St. Denis has a little different flavor to it but doesn't have as many restaurants and bars. By venturing out to those two streets you will do much better than the Hard Rock and Peel Street Pub. I believe Peel Street Pub has the Sunday chicken wing deal but the place doesn't even have a bar to sit down at. Crescent Street is in a more English part of town while St. Laurent and St. Denis are decidely more French although you will find both in either location. It has a lot to do with the universities in each area with Concordia (English) being close to Crescent and the University of Quebec (UQAM) and the University of Montreal in the French part. McGill is in the middle. I prefer the French area. Montreal is well known for coffee, pizza, poutine (it takes explaining - some potato and cheese something or other), culture, ethnic food (the deli's), bars and yes, the "dance academies". I would google that one! Walking up St. Catherine you will see quite a few. Pick and choose! Be wary of some of these places (Chez Parée) where Bluto type doormen try to extort your money as you enter. Quebec is different than the other provinces in that you can buy beer at the grocery sores and corner markets. No Brewer's Retail necessary! The beer is expensive! To get to St Laurent and St Denis from the Sheraton you could walk but it is a long walk. Take the taxi. The subway can also get you around quicker but then you lose sight of places you may want to check out (Les Danseuses!). Here are a couple of links that may help: http://www.montrealplus.ca/ http://www.canada.com/montrealgazette/index.html And for web cams: http://montrealcam.com/ (the downtown cam is of the St Catherine and Peel St, intersection). I could supply you with more but this will help get you started. By the way how did you get tickets? Also, for sports bar Champs on St. Laurent has lots of screens. Parc Mont Royal is beautiful. Have fun! And Go Sabres!!!!

What a beauty! I can't get enough of those gorgeous latinas! I have all these Spanish speaking stations from Tijuana programmed on my tv. The news, weather, talk shows... They are all pretty much the same, I know very little about what they are saying and they have all star lineups of latinas.

Congrats. It is a very good school if you decide to go. The libraries out at the Amherst campus are great. Study a lot, starting on the first day. The Buffalo college social / party life is secondary and will also be there when you need it. Bills tix would be nice! Good luck!

The rude, ignorant, inconsiderates who must leave their fast food cups anywhere they damn well please. Look around arse, if there is a garbage can, use it. If not take it with you. Also goes for the rest of the litter vermin. People who are in line on a cell phone instead of ordering. Then expecting service when the counter personnel ignore them. People who cut in line. Any line. People who don't use their turn signal. Most cars in the modern world are equipped with turn signals roughly a finger length extension from the steering wheel. People who flick their cigarette butts out their car window. Okay, while in the vehicle the smoke is your's. So is the ash tray. Al Sharpton. "Abbla, blabla, blabla, blabla. Blabla, blabla". Empowerment, cool. Responsibility, very cool. Education, great. "Blabla blabla", get out. Nancy Grace. "Wait, wait, wait..." Where did I leave those brass knuckles? Rosie O'Donnell. Put her in goal. No equipment. Enough said. Michael Savage of the Savage Nation political talk show. Stop putting hot sauce on your burritos, it follows you all the way through. John Kerry. Man, you don't know everything and you don't have all the answers. Max Headroom retread. Hilary. Your solutions aren't solutions.

Lighten up Carol! Things could be worse, you could be the one cleaning up the porn shop! "'Family Guy,' like the 'Carol Burnett Show,' is famous for its pop culture parodies and satirical jabs at celebrities," the studio said in a statement. "We are surprised that Ms. Burnett, who has made a career of spoofing others on television, would go so far as to sue 'Family Guy' for a simple bit of comedy."

Not so fast! For starters 92 goals will be tough to match! He is a great player and fun to watch. To think anybody could have had him makes me ponder what if the Sabres had got him! A few other players to look for are Patrick Kane (from South Buffalo, London - OHL leading scorer) John Tavares (Oshawa - OHL, second leading scorer with 71 goals) and Angelo Esposito (Quebec - QMJHL).

Great Article on the Sabres from NHL.com

I would also like for the Sabres to knock the Hurricanes out of the playoffs. However, Carolina may not even make the playoffs. The race for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference is intense and will be fun to watch. Before the game, there were five teams from spots seven to eleven with a range of 78 - 76 points. Carolina is now in seventh place with 80. This is not the same Carolina team as last year as they lost a lot of players. I am glad that the Hurricanes beat Jersey and ran Brodeur in the process. I am also relieved that the Sabres aren't sweating for the eighth spot! I am still concerned about the Sabres offensive output. Conklin (great debut start) and Miller have saved the day in each of the last two games in which the Sabres have been outshot 45 - 20 and 37 -20. Every game is important with tough games with Atlanta and Washington coming up. I would label the game against Jersey as a "must win" since beating them would not only provide more distance in the standings but boost confidence in regards to specifically beating the Devils. The games against the Leafs should be taken seriuosly. Enough of this playing down to the opponent nonsense. -
The Penguins have had great fortune: two Stanley Cup Championships, Lemieux, Jagr and now Crosby, Malkin etc. It would have been a shame to see them lose their team. Although most Pittsburgh sports fans that I have met can only relate to the Steelers it is great for the city to still have their team. Some may find this hard to believe but the Penguins are good enough to win it all this year.

First, you hear them then you feel it coming up through the floor. By the time you hear the dogs outside you have it figured out. The chandeliers shake, the blinds sway. If people didn't get hurt or worse die, and people lose their property, it would be fun. I haven't been scared by one yet. I haven't seen cars bouncing. I do have a crack in the living room ceiling and the bedroom wall. A few years ago we had one and people said that they saw the buildings in downtown San Diego sway. You have little time to react but not much. I never experienced one living in Buffalo and Ohio. Some people got upset when U.B. received funding for their earthquake simulation lab. Little did people realize that there are earthquakes in the region. I believe the area around the Niagara River and the Falls are fault lines. I don't mean to minimize the abuse of the medicinal marijuana laws by teens but pot is the least of San Diego's abuse issues. Meth, X, Coke are used and abused by many. And the stories of drunks driving in the wrong direction on the freeways have been too plentiful to count. Hit and runs by drunks also appear to be increasing. The laws are strict but to some people it doesn't seem to matter.

Ginn has been double teamed since his freshman year because he has been making plays like that since his freshman year. Guys like Gonzalez are good but are less effective without Ginn on the field. When opponents doubled up on Gonzalez (BCS title game) like they did Ginn, Gonzo didn't do much. Just Ginn's being on the field makes the offense work better and the opposing defenses sweat bullets. There aren't as many receiving highlights because the Buckeyes were able to effectively mix their plays up with Pittman, Wells and Gonzalez, etc. Ginn helped make that possible simply being a decoy. The highlight reel doesn't show the receiving but he also stood out as a receiver. He stood out as a freshman. However, I do have to wonder who will be the Bills starting running back. Ginn would make a very nice accessory but when the weather is bad and a short run is needed who will Losman be handing the ball to. I like A-Train but another running option could be effective. I believe the Bills brain trust realizes the running limitation so I wonder about further free agency and draft options. I am hoping that the three additions to the offensive line solve some of the blocking issues but I am skeptical. I hear Raider fans expressing their doubts about Langston Walker. I haven't seen him play so I don't what he can do or not do. Anybody know anything about Walker?

I hope they got their clunkers out of the way with Penn State. Penn State?

I wondering who will be in the crosshairs of Ben's wrath. The Doc obviously but Ben has this evil side and once healthy, someone will pay. It has been so long since we had string of episodes that I tend to forget about episodes, facts and even characters. Walt and Michael and Rousseau come to mind. Many of the characters have good and evil personalties. I have to wonder how the story would be different or was changed as a result of the ladies (Rodriquez) getting too drunk in Hawaii.

Who should one fear most in T.J., the street criminals or the cops? Tough call. If you have trouble with the first does one call the latter? Chances are the cops will extort money from the victim if they look like they aren't from Mexico or they may have money. Many people from the San Diego side don't go to T.J. anymore for any reason. That is unless one is under twenty-one and wants to drink, is an unsuspecting tourist, a gambler, needs some, has plans to surf further down the coast in Baja or is one of those who live in Baja. There are a lot of dirty cops in T.J. It is about time something was done about it. Lately the federal government has been cracking down on the cops and the drug lords. It is not a good time to be in T.J. http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/10828054/detail.html
