haven't read the 15 pages of this thread but one simple fact: SJ dropped what looked like a sure TD pass on final drive. If SJ wants to be a top receiver in this league he can not drop key TD passes see Pitt last year and one yesterday.
face it every decision made on tis team is based on saving ralph as much money as possible. Hangman was a logical choice to keep on roster for backup depth yet we decided be better t cut him and save some salary since he wasnt starting anymore. Oh well there was hope that this december would matter but looks like sunday afternoons will be better spent raking leaves
Agree on Levitre is NOT the answer at center outright AWFUL!!!!
Spiller was a wasted pick but I also fault Chan for not finding a way to utilize him
Hairston is coming back from injury maybe a week ahead of schedule because AL had to move to center, wy could we keep Hangman as a backup on the OL
The defensive scheme today or players just plain SUCK
Smith isnt the answer but jeeze the offence has become VANILLA at best
well this tea was exposed 2 weeks ago by the Jets and now every team is utilizing the same scheme. What a mess and injury after injury is starting to occur. edwards should be fired ASAP but than again he has few if any playmakers on D
Big College basketball and Hockey fan. Will watch baseball but only Cubs and just sort of in background versus glued to set. I always make sure I am home in time for football but sometimes late for hockey games due to work and other evening activities have to sometimes listen on internet radio streams
also note that last 2 games he has played with 3rd string LT and 2nd string LG. What bugs me more is that understanding the weakness on left side they didnt utilize TE or RBs to cover the blind side and create motion and rollouts to the right.
the bills are most effective in passing game when they can bunch up receivers this way the picks etc will help allow separation at line of scrimmage. This team still has holes at WR and front 7 on D I think when Bell or Hairston are at LT and Pears at Rt we do a decent job on the protection. I am not sure OT is a major concern when ya did ok with number 1 and 2 and have struggled with third string LT in.
They have won 2 in a row, we have lost 2 in a row. The bigger issue who knows what the OL will look like Wood is out a week or more, if hariston or bell arent ready it will be a long day for the bills.
Both weeks we face a team coming off a bye so they have 2 weeks to prepare however looks like we had no idea of what or defensive or offensive plan was for the last two weeks. Teams effectively ran the ball on Dallas and we come out throwing and getting sacked. The defense looks totally unprepared for anything that comes their way.
BTW Bill didnt like the Spiller pick and not just ready to declare a bust but clearly Chan has not figured how to utilize him or he is a bust. This team is so bad on Defense has has no offense identity anymore
Its clear that Bell or Hariston and LT is far better than AL, or maybe Rienhart just makes the LT position more difficult. The defense still looks like it has no clue.
what gets me is when writers talk about 7 feet of snow overnight. I know its tongue in cheek but jeeze get real every once in a while we got a snow day ( see blizzard of 77 ). It does pain me to return to my hometown south of buffalo were urban renewal succeeded in tearing down old buildings but failed to make the other than vacant lots and parking lots.
people DIS him for what he did with Sabres but people forget the teams he owned won the presidents cup and if not for a bunch of injure Dmen make the stanley cup and likely win it in 2006. Sure his lack of funding the operations meant the demise post 2006 but he did rescue the team
