Just because you've worked for Bellicheck or Parcells doesn't mean you're going to become the NEXT Bellicheck or Parcells. I can't believe the Jets are putting all of their faith into some 35 year old guy who's had 1 year of experience as the defensive coordinator. Yeah, all of those excellent New England defenses of seasons past are a product of Romeo Crenell. Sure, maybe Eric had something to do with them but the fact that people are believing the hype about this guy is ridiculous. Nick Saban and Bill Bellicheck are 2 different stories. They're established coaches who we should be worried about.

The thing is Manning is the highest paid player on the team and is in the top 5 paid players in the entire league. The pressure and expectations fall squarely on his shoulders. His ridiculously huge salary makes it difficult for the Colts to acquire quality free agents. They will most certainly lose a huge part of their puzzle in Reggie Wayne (who led the team in receptions, 1 ahead of Marvin Harrison) and possibly other big names like Edge (can't continue to franchise the bastard every year). Coaching may have been a big reason that the Colts lost this game but Manning made a lot of questionable decisions when it mattered the most. This was the Colts' best chance at making it to the Super Bowl and they just couldn't do it. He could've went 30/30 and 2 touchdowns but the ONLY stat that matters is the final score. I don't care how sweet his stats are which you seem to be fixated on.
