  1. yeah except tom brady's not on our roster waiting for holcomb or losman to get injured.
  2. pretty predictable candidates. not as if he's going out on a limb here.
  3. I thought Mariucci was taking time off. He'd probably be too expensive of a coordinator anyways.
  4. pretty much what he said. this has been reported more than a few times. im surprised somone still cares about jerry gray's status on our payroll. he's been as good as gone since the end of the season. here's to hoping bates or capers replaces jerry soon.
  5. Just because you've worked for Bellicheck or Parcells doesn't mean you're going to become the NEXT Bellicheck or Parcells. I can't believe the Jets are putting all of their faith into some 35 year old guy who's had 1 year of experience as the defensive coordinator. Yeah, all of those excellent New England defenses of seasons past are a product of Romeo Crenell. Sure, maybe Eric had something to do with them but the fact that people are believing the hype about this guy is ridiculous. Nick Saban and Bill Bellicheck are 2 different stories. They're established coaches who we should be worried about.
  6. I watched the same segment on the NFL Network that said Jauron will be interviewed on Tuesday... and then I puked.
  7. The thing is Manning is the highest paid player on the team and is in the top 5 paid players in the entire league. The pressure and expectations fall squarely on his shoulders. His ridiculously huge salary makes it difficult for the Colts to acquire quality free agents. They will most certainly lose a huge part of their puzzle in Reggie Wayne (who led the team in receptions, 1 ahead of Marvin Harrison) and possibly other big names like Edge (can't continue to franchise the bastard every year). Coaching may have been a big reason that the Colts lost this game but Manning made a lot of questionable decisions when it mattered the most. This was the Colts' best chance at making it to the Super Bowl and they just couldn't do it. He could've went 30/30 and 2 touchdowns but the ONLY stat that matters is the final score. I don't care how sweet his stats are which you seem to be fixated on.
  8. Jose Cortez may have had a better chance than that lousy attempt.
  9. wow. huge first down. anything short of the superbowl for the colts has to be considered a colossal disappointment. looks like that may happen. polian has to be going crazy. what more could he do to build a better team?
  10. He was "hating" on the "dougchebags from Shittsburgh", 2pac.
  11. you wouldn't want a team built like pittsburgh? solid coaching really good young qb tremendous defense very good offensive line always making the playoffs nah, me either. i don't really care who wins but indy is just the predictable team to root for. they annoy me. pittsburgh does normally but not today so i'll just root for them.
  12. let's go steelers. imagine the feeling colts' fans would be going through if they lost in the 2nd round. sounds like fun.
  13. as manning approaches 10 completions. joe eats crow... yet again.
  14. i think it was a given that bush was going to be a texan regardless. vince young wasn't about to jump to the #1 draft spot. bush wasn't about to stay at usc for another year (for what?!) this has to win the 'least interesting' thread of the day.
  15. Yeah he's technically still on the staff. Doesn't mean he'll be here at all next season. His departure is an eventuality. Please don't even suggest he take over as head coach.
